Anti-Stupidity Alliance

Hello, I would like to invite you to the Anti-Stupidity Alliance. I hope you'll join so the alliance can get off the ground, and that we can add some more content. Thanks!--A1C JerryASSPKASAT 09:52, 29 August 2006 (BST)

A common misunderstanding....

"…Er...Matthew...isn't it only mods that can stike votes or do notes/feedback?"

Not exactly. Essentially, anyone is allowed to strike out stuff, but only moderators can
  • Note: Stuff.
As well as the fact that only moderators are allowed to strike trolling votes. Welcome to the wonderful world wiki of poorly written rules. You'll get used to it. After you finish tearing your hair out at the absurdity of some of the more obscure ones. –Xoid STFU! 12:39, 20 July 2006 (BST)
The rules are a bit poorly written, as Xoid said. Generally, you can strike out unsigned votes. The current rules don't mention anything about striking out votes (or parts of them) that have invalid vote part (Change votes for example). In my opinion it is completely ok to do so, and others seem to agree. At least mostly. I think.
What mods are allowed to do is to strike out votes that are cast only for trolling. For example, voting Keep on some absurd joke suggestion just to keep in on the page. Or some serious personal attack on the suggester that has nothing to do with the suggestion. --Brizth mod T W! 13:08, 20 July 2006 (BST)
Brizth managed to get most of what I would've said in response to Re: Suggestions thing. You can't just go and strike a single letter, like Bob Hammero has done. Or reply to an illegal Re, but sometimes moderators don't feel like doing their job due to the need to "stop being stick in the muds". Which is also why I voted "X-RAYZ - …" on one suggestion. The rules there seriously chafe you at times. –Xoid STFU! 13:17, 20 July 2006 (BST)

Popularity

Thanks for telling me about that template. Now I have to cram it in there with the others. :-) –Xoid STFU! 20:44, 31 July 2006 (BST)

Did you want {{Popularism}} centred? align=center won't work if you have margin: any set of values; Also: since there is only one parameter in the template, I changed the syntax of the call to simply being {{Popularism|whatever}}Xoid STFU! 21:01, 31 July 2006 (BST)

Important Message

There are important developments regarding the Coalition for Fair Tactics. You have been selected to act on an Assembly of Representatives for combatting large-scale unfair tactics. Please review this page in its entirety. –Bob Hammero ModB'cratTA 10:38, 1 August 2006 (BST)

If you're willing to be part of the assembly, could you please put the "(X)" next to your name? Otherwise, if you're not, I'll need to know so that I can find someone else. Thanks. –Bob Hammero ModB'cratTA 00:54, 2 August 2006 (BST)

Just a note

I responded on my talk page (I'm never sure if people know that I like to respond there). –Bob Hammero ModB'cratTA 21:38, 2 August 2006 (BST)

Welcomenewbie template

Thanks for improving the template =). Feel free to do it whenever you want. --Matthew Fahrenheit YRC | T | W! 16:53, 18 August 2006 (BST)

Probably because that's a pretty long template. While ours is more "User-Friendly."--Canuhearmenow Hunt! 22:09, 8 October 2006 (BST)

Promotion Bid

I don't know if you know, but I'm running for sysop status, and I'm getting very little feedback. Because of that, may I ask you to check the bid and, if you wish, cast a vote? Even if it's a negative one, it will help a lot. If you want a shortcut, there's a link to the bid on my signature. Thanks in advance Jonny! --Matthew Fahrenheit YRCT+1 22:53, 7 September 2006 (BST)

Infection

Um, that question really doesn't belong where you placed it. However, I'm almost positive that by using a FAK you will be at 6 HP. --The Surgeon General DHPD 06:52, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
