Hey, Karen-mun! Just thought you'd like to know that if you want to do more journal-writing, there's a whole community devoted to survivor-journals at The Survivor Diaries!

If you're interested in roleplay and such, we've got a roleplay for South Malton set up on some forums--I realize that Lukinswood is pretty far away, but if you want to wander down we can always use some company!

Hi. I checked the links you provided and only got error messages :( Karen Howard 21:52, 22 October 2006 (BST)
I figured out what was wrong with the links and managed to fix them :) Karen Howard 07:01, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Those links don't work for me either. Karen - Just wanted to say your journal is very well written and fun to read. Keep it up! Moyes 12:23, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you! I've been tempted to go back an add further detail about the 'trivial' things in life, like eating out of cans, looting for supplies that aren't in game like food and clothing. Karen Howard 22:34, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
I notice from your latest Journal entry you are in trouble. You're close to us of the RPM and if you need a quick revive just shuffle over to the wasteland at 82,82. Moyes 09:28, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
On my way as soon as I get the needed AP...I mean "Mrh...???" Karen Howard 11:21, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

"Typos"

Just a quick headsup - not everyone is American. Typo correction is fine, but remember not everyone (myself included) uses American English. Case in point - "realise". Don't change it to "realize". Cyberbob  Talk  12:06, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, my firefox apparently isn't programmed to handle the British way of speaking and went semi-nuts on me. Seriously, my PC almost locked up when I went to post my replies >_< Unless Firefox and Internet Explorer 7 don't get along....? Karen Howard 12:12, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Heh. That's OK. Just... stay on the safe side, and don't fix people's errors. Some take offence, and it's possible you might get warned. Just a friendly piece of advice. Cyberbob  Talk  12:14, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks. I just wish I knew if it was the Firefox and Internet Explorer just not getting along -- it if is, I'd be getting rid of IE because I enjoy using Firefox much more. And over here in the States we don't get a lot of books with the British way of spelling -- except some really old romance novels, but I don't use those very much for reference on a foreign language or different dialect of the same language unless I know for a fact the author's done a lot of research... Karen Howard 12:19, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
I understand. Cyberbob  Talk  12:20, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
If you know of any sources that can help me know the difference and what some of the slang across the pond is, I'd sincerely appreciate a link. I have a sister-in-law from Great Britain but don't get to interact with her a lot. Karen Howard
Here's a good-looking Australian slang site, and here's a British slang site. Cyberbob  Talk  12:36, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Thank you so much! I'll be putting these to use with my writing too -- I have a couple characters who are Brits. :D Karen Howard 12:38, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

That journal!

I really like zombie genre writing, and your journal is excellent reading! I have a series of interviews but I don't really keep up with it...Anyway, just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your journal!--Lachryma 04:12, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Oh thank you! I go into further detail and elaborate more in the journals I have at the Survivor Diaries; I have the links to each entry near the bottom of the page, as a way to save room on the UDWiki :) Karen Howard 04:27, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, I'll have to check that out in the near future. Thanks for the info!--Lachryma 04:21, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
No problem :) Karen Howard 04:27, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Interesting journal you have there. I've noticed that lately some of your entries have become a little "sparse" on content, but some of the earlier entries are definitely enjoyable reads. I have a journal myself, but I don't update it very often, so there really isn't that much to read on mine...

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and say "Hello" :) --Specialist290 23:57, 27 March 2007 (BST)

Thank you for the feed-back :) Generally I go back an add to my journal entries, fixing typos and adding details; most the time my sparse ones are me writing down what's occured so I don't forget it later on when I elaborate more... Karen Howard 07:21, 29 March 2007 (BST)
I see. Well, hope to see more in the future :) --Specialist290 04:04, 30 March 2007 (BST)

Christian

I've made a category for those brave survivors who put "love thy enemy" into practice in these harsh, harsh times. Buddhagazelle 01:22, 9 April 2007 (BST)Buddhagazelle
