Quarlesbank NTs

Why did you change your Haslock NT from Safe to Unknown? Reports last for a week don't they? If you really wanted to remove your report (although I think you shouldn't, if it's accurate), you should revert to my report from 3 days ago!

Apart from that, it's nice to see that someone else like to try to keep the wiki up to date :). 'arm. 16:38, 22 July 2007 (BST)

Simple, I made a mistake. --Lectrespectre 16:57, 22 July 2007 (BST)

Quarlesbank news

Hey, you can't put POV content into the news section. The suburb page isn't just for survivors, it's for everyone. You can't use it to advise survivors how best to use the wiki for their own advantage. 'arm. 16:54, 22 July 2007 (BST)

Additionally, the NT status are building statuses, not the whole suburb. The suburb could be generally safe, but the NT dangerous. As they are. You believe that the NT statuses are incorrect? Please show me which of the 3 NTs I have labelling as 'in zombie hands' are NOT current in zombie hands? 'arm. 16:57, 22 July 2007 (BST)

Maybe you should take a deep breath. I keep trying to answer your questions but you are obviously really upset. Its difficult to have a text based conversation with someone who is obviously upset. Its a battle of the forms. Before I moved in there was no news for over a month. Don't be mad at me because I discovered your ploy with the NT status page. All I know is that every time I swing by an NT it is safe even when the building status says its not. Other suburbs don't have an NT building status page. I am not trying to make you mad or make you my enemy. You are way too upset for me to deal with this situation. I don't even know you at all so my answer is--That it. I'm done. I'll move to another 'burb. --Lectrespectre 17:07, 22 July 2007 (BST)

Don't presume to tell me that I'm upset - I'm not. My "can't put POV content" comment let you know why I deleted your News post. Yes, I am allowed to delete it - any user can remove POV content from pages which are supposed to be NPOV. I don't actually have a ploy with the NT status page, since Extinction actually use this spreadsheet (which is publicly linked to on our group page, btw). I report and update the status of an NT when I personally see' the status. The report is timestamped, so it makes sense that a few days later the status may have changed. What's your problem with that? 'arm. 17:39, 22 July 2007 (BST)

i'm quitting this game because 'arm is a bully. Bullys are lame. --Lectrespectre 17:13, 22 July 2007 (BST)

Arguably, people who quit (or say they are going to quit) because they can't take any criticism when they make a mistake are lame. If you think I am bullying you, you can report me on the Arbitration page. It's there so that user's cannot just be endlessly bullied (and other stuff). 'arm. 17:39, 22 July 2007 (BST)

You know, settling this would probably be better than quitting but I would like to say that the NT status reports are very useful to survivors(and are actually on most every suburb not just that one). It gives them information of what is safe and what isn't, which areas they can get the fastest revives in the suburb(if they also check the bic them better). Zombies actually benefit a lot from not reporting that information, or at least not releasing it because zombies aren't built to hold territory. If survivors can't easily spot taken territory then it is all the better for the zombies that would want to hold it. Anyway, bics have a bad habit of getting out of date and the information on them being incorrect. I can only thing of a handful that get constantly updated and those are the high profile ones, If you want them to be updated by someone frequently it might be best to take screenshots or Iwitness shots of them and posting that on the bic with your edit, and better still to get the people who are in the building(s) to edit the bic. I would say it's best to try and find an agreeable solution instead of quitting, and if he is wrong show it in a way he can't argue with(aforementioned screenshots/Iwitness records)--Karekmaps?! 19:22, 22 July 2007 (BST)

You shouldn't quit the game because of any one user on the wiki. I hope you hang in there. Being new to the wiki myself, I understand it is really hard to find "where you fit in to it", and any criticism from an "established wiki dude" can be a crushing blow. (considering all the time and headaches just to figure out how to make a few lines of code work). But, brush it off and move on. I hope you hang in there and throw a few punches back. Don't quit (quitters suck)--Airborne88Zzz1.JPGT Zom MIS 02:58, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Suggestion: Follow_Subway

The discussion on Follow Subway has gone stale. I'd say you could take the idea and resubmit it as your own now, if you'd like to. I'd advocate putting it for more discussion first though, as these types of ideas can get spammed pretty quickly. 'arm. 07:40, 27 July 2007 (BST)
