Conversational

Thanks for the keep on Advanced Flare Signaling suggestion, but It looks like you forgot a squiggly on your signature. It's time stamped, but not signed.. Don't want to loose your vote, if you have a second to fix it. --Blahblahblah 01:23, 1 March 2006 (GMT)

Just guessing here: WCDH = World Conspiracy to Destroy Humans?. I'm not actually a zombie. Thank you for your input. Slavik 06:11, 2 March 2006 (GMT)

Thanks for the feedback on my MASSIVE load of suggestions in one! Most people don't seem to be offering anything constructive, so I guess I'll take it to the discussion page like you suggested Waffles 22:45, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

No problem, I'm just trying to be helpful, the more people we have thinking here the more good suggestions we have... --Lord Evans 09:58, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

I am planning on remaking and upgrading those suggestions. At the moment though I am right in the middle of my final exams and... it is unlikely I will think them over in the close future. But, thanks for noticing. --WriterX 17:02, 7 May 2007 (BST)

Zombies "Don't" Have It Made

Yeah, you have a good point there, but in my opinion, with PKers on the rise, zombies are just the slightest bit better off than survivors.--Labine50 MH|ME|P 18:36, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

You forget that most survivor players have headshot now, though, and that PKing is exempt from the AP penalty of Headshot. Add to the fact that Ankle Grab is a second-level skill, and you get a lot of frustrated zeds.--_Vic D'Amato__Dead vs Blue_ 18:40, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Something Random!

I will give you a rat if you vote for Murray Jay.--Lachryma 00:08, 18 April 2007 (BST)

Voila, and thank you.

Why'd you just blank Fuster's talk page? That was random...--Lachryma 05:29, 18 April 2007 (BST)
Whoops... It seems I am good at making mistakes... Hehe? I was trying to open a talk with him and thought that I had messed somthing up, so I attemped to fix it... --Lord Evans 05:33, 18 April 2007 (BST)
Yeah, feth happens. I was just curious.--Lachryma 05:37, 18 April 2007 (BST)

Thanks

For actually pointing out that things are moved off suggestions onto the talk page when moderators get pissy. Wouldn't have seen that most of the consideration of suggestions goes on there otherwise and that the suggestions page itself is just rubber stamping/spamming. To be honest, I have enough of a life outside this wiki and the game that I don't think I'll bother pursuing any of the suggestions I made. Shame because I do think they were good concepts, intended to be worked into fuller ideas collaboratively. Don't think the attitude here really lends itself to building a decent community but hey, it's just a game. Will leave them to it. In case anyone wants to revisit/improve them, the ideas I had put forward were:

  • Crime & Punishment (Artworks as tradeable, stealable items to encourage group interaction)
  • Radio Hope (Unobtrusive game announcements by radio and an enhancement that related to black chopper visits)
  • Net (A single use item to sap a small amount of AP by hampering movement till broken) - moved to talk and left

I also wanted to suggest:

  • Autodidact (Survivors to unlock new high level skills as a result of percentage chances when reading books) - left on talk

- Fuster 23:59, 18 April 2007 (BST)

Oh yeah... BARBRAZ also started there but got spammed off in quick time for being a group not a game change (fair enough). I'll probably fiddle around with those pages a while longer but ultimately if there's no real interest, I'll just leave them lying around on the wiki in case it catches someone's imagination at some point in the future. - Fuster 00:07, 19 April 2007 (BST)

Thank you for registering

Thanks for adding your name to the BARBRAZ roster!

I've added you to my contacts in-game so I can recognise you. I'm currently in and around Doggrell, talking to local zombies and looking out for a revive in order to be able to start chatting to local survivors. Seems like Salt the Land is in full swing there though, which slows down the NT work. I have something in mind for the Grand Opening but have to talk to a few people first and it may take a while to set up. Will certainly contact you to call you in as soon as I know what's happening and when.

In the meantime there are a couple of policy amendments I wanted to put in but which will now need your vote (since you're registered). These are:

  • Dress Code (all patron's to wear BARBRAZ t-shirts while on premises to identify themselves to security and improve the 'scent death' homing effect)
  • Manager's position to be subject to vote on a regular basis (open once a month but only goes to vote if challenged)
  • Local franchise staff only to be able to vote to replace that franchise manager
  • Staff may only vote after being registered a full month
  • Manager's decision is final in case of any dispute on premises

Trying to make sure I cover tricky situations ahead of them actually happening!

Please vote/comment on the above and I will update/discuss further with you.

Have a nice day!

Plans are starting to form for a Grand Opening with confirmed interest from mystery guest stars around a date in June. Will keep you posted on setting up the venue. - Fuster 01:55, 26 April 2007 (BST)

Cruel and unusual

Having given this some more thought....

I think we should be as friendly as possible and issue warnings first before enforcing policy only when these are ignored. Assuming you can coordinate with Zomgazelle, for survivors we can remove them from the premises by taking them down to <12HP and then using feeding drag so that they can be killed outside. Zombies will be harder to control but should also be easier for Zomgazelle to spot using scent death (once we have established the dress code, they ought to be showing BARBRAZ in their profile). Additionally, if we are mostly operating from the neighbouring safehouse and stepping in to work on shifts then the major difficulty should be with survivors who sweep in to kill waiting customers rather than zombies that cause havoc inside the premises by attacking human staff.

What do you think?

- Fuster 01:32, 16 May 2007 (BST)

I agree with your comment on the talk page: warnings are good and should be used. We need to stay nice even while we're nasty so the more chance people are given to fall into line (within reason) the better.
In other news, we are continuing to develop the brand on all fronts - check out the letter on User_talk:Swiers (and did you catch our namecheck in the Malton Gazette?).

Doggrell Hotel

I found an old postcard of the Doggrell Hotel in one of the drawers in the manager's office and have put it up on the wiki. She's got a little rundown since those times but it's nice to have a picture to show her in her prime. - Fuster 02:18, 18 May 2007 (BST) Italic text

It's rare to meet a level 41, and far rarer to meet one whom chooses to kill their brethren. I hope our paths cross once more... Perhaps with a different outcome. --Lord Evans 22:27, 28 May 2009 (BST)
