Talk

Empty threats? On THIS wiki? It's more likely than you think! --Aeon17x 03:35, 7 September 2008 (BST) Please write inbetween the lines if you can, but thanks for being the first guy to write here! Nequa 05:46, 7 September 2008 (BST)

In wikis, you reply by indenting your comment. The more commas, the more indented it is. --Aeon17x 04:10, 8 September 2008 (BST) Colons... -- AHLGTH 04:11, 8 September 2008 (BST) Er, my bad... the keys were right next to each other. --Aeon17x 04:15, 8 September 2008 (BST)

Another tip: most of the time, leave the comments as is. And use a double space or a <br> to create new lines. --Aeon17x 03:41, 10 September 2008 (BST)

Looking out the window.

Yes it has.

The problems with it are as follows.

1Realism

Zombies directly outside are probably on the other side of piles of furniture, how can you see them long enough to count them accurately. Also binoculars lets you see further away.

2Balance If you look outside, what information can you gain? Why can't the zombies outside not look in?

3Allowing zombies to look in Zombies would become much more powerful, only wasting ap's on buildings barricades that were populated.

Or as the wiki says.

"X-Ray Vision

X-ray Vision is seen as either zombies seeing into buildings or survivors seeing out, this is commonly accepted as being too powerful. Zombies with X-Ray Vision powers could completely negate the Distributed Defense strategy by searching out only those barricaded structures with survivors in them thus effectively removing one of the more popular concepts of survivor tactics. Alternatively survivors with X-ray vision would be able to barricade entire suburbs to Extremely Heavily and keep themselves updated with Zombie concentrations with minimal risk to themselves. Either way this sort of mechanic gives a lot of power to the side which has it - and, unless the other side can easily nullify it, it is generally too strong. Other considerations involve giving a group an ability that can be used with no associated AP expenditure, display problems with clearly distinguishing between characters inside buildings to those outside, and sheer game-screen clutter resulting from siege-level concentrations of players. "

Railway lines

At the moment the railway line (there is only one running from the north to south borders.) Appears to be little more than another name for a street.

Borehamwood, unlike Malton has only a handful of railway stations, all of which are next to the railway line.

That's all I can tell you really. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 22:40, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
