DogEater has no association with the CBTR. He lists the group as his affiliation in his profile for the express purpose of stirring up bad feeling against us. He has repeatedly PKed members of our group, including myself, and our allies. We believe that he is a member of our home forum wwho has a vendetta against one or more group members or simply enjoys causing trouble.
We cannot "police our ranks" and stop him because he is not in our ranks. We do in fact have a kill-on-sight order about him in place, but concerted efforts to hunt him down are counterproductive. He is one, we are (relatively speaking) many. He's a needle in a haystack, whereas we give him a target-rich environment. No matter how many times we kill him, there are many more of us for him to kill. We will not allow him to accomplish his goal of ruining the game for us by focusing all our efforts on him at the expense of normal gameplay.
Up until now we have not publicly disavowed DogEater because we were unsure if he was PKing randomly, and if he was only targeting us, then we felt there was no need to make the situation known to the survivor population at large. However, since it is now clear his activities are not limited to our group and its allies, our group page will be altered to contain a public statement about him. -CWD 22:04, 6 April 2006 (BST)
