Thanks for the Updates & Phantom MPM

Hey Royzom! I'm just here to say a big thanks for all your danger updates! I'm sure you noticed the part of the city you've been updating is largely "gray" — it's because of us over at the Malton Danger Updaters. We always have ongoing projects to update various parts of the city. I've credited you for the suburbs you've updated in the past couple days; if you're interested in joining more officially feel free to add yourself to our roster :D

Also, I noticed your question about the Mickelson Museum and think I can answer it! The Mickelson is what's known as a "Phantom Mast", a mast that appears in the building's description but has no effect on the suburb's network coverage. There are at least six such Phantom Masts around the city, all of them museums.

Thanks again, and have a great day! Bob Moncrief EBDW! 11:41, 19 May 2017 (UTC)

Hey Bob! No problem, I've got an alt that I'm gonna explore Malton with and thought I'd clear up those "gray" suburbs. Then I'll update places here and there as I move around Malton.
I'll of course make sure to keep him a good distance away from Fort Creedy, where my main is currently.
The rules of the MDU wouldn't really allow for my alt, though.
That's not an issue though, me using him to update those suburbs, is it?
Yea I figured it was some kind of a bug or something, thanks for letting me know. -Royzom (talk) 00:57, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
Nope, no worries! You can update a building status with any alt moving through the area :) Bob Moncrief EBDW! 01:34, 20 May 2017 (UTC)

Danger report statuses

I will usually use 'ransacked' or 'rebuilding' for junkyards with no barricades (zoo buildings being the same set-up), and then in the comments list whether there are any zombies inside. But 'In zombie hands' works too I guess! Or even 'under attack' maybe? The main difference/advantage with the statuses is that when you look at the suburb mini-map or the danger centre you can see at a glance what status a building is at since they all have a differing colour. stelar (talk) 04:33, 29 May 2017 (UTC)

I use "in zombie hands" for any building that is unbarricaded and has zombies inside, whether ruined or not. It shows up as a brighter red on the maps (like the Danger Center) and people can know to go there to find active zombies. The definitions are all a little fuzzy; I wrote a list of how I use them on the Danger Reports section of the MDU tools page. Hope that's helpful! Bob Moncrief EBDW! 05:28, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
I'll use "in zombie hands" for buildings with zombies inside, then. If it's a Junkyard type building with no zombies then I'll just use ruined. Royzom (talk) 18:48, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
Wouldn't 'ransacked' be a better option for a junkyard type building since they can't actually be ruined? stelar (talk) 23:27, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
..Didn't even notice ransacked was an option! I checked Bob's link and that's the exact one I should be using, thanks for pointing that out. Royzom (talk) 23:38, 29 May 2017 (UTC)
