Re - help
Hello there. :) For the radio, you just have to choose one of the available frequencies either here or here. If you choose an open frequency any survivor can broadcast on it (no Radio Operation skill needed). Then you can put this template on your group's page.
The template: you have to write {{:Los Hombres Siniestros/recruit}} on the page you want it to be displayed (I don't know why you have to add the : though o.O).--Janus Abernathy huh? 22:13, 31 May 2009 (BST)
- Oh, I see about the radio frequency. But could you repeat the part on templates?--Sam 2334 01:31, 4 June 2009 (BST)
- Sorry I'm late, I totally missed your entry in my talk page..
- You're right, your template was deleted because it wasn't linked anywhere; I put a request here and here it is. :)
- About the how to use part: you have to use either the <noinclude> tags or the <includeonly>. I used the <noinclude> ones on my page.
- Also, you have to add the categories on the page (between the noinclude tags), such as [[Category:Templates|{{PAGENAME}}]] and [[Category:Group Templates|{{PAGENAME}}]]. --Janus Abernathy huh? 20:54, 8 June 2009 (BST)
No problem! Glad to be of help (and no need to credit me) :) Cheers --Janus Abernathy huh? 12:51, 10 June 2009 (BST)
Recruitment AD
Heya! Wanted to tell you that your group's recruitment ad is too big; you have to create another page, such as Los_Hombres_Siniestros/Recruitment and follow these rules. Cheers! --Janus Abernathy huh? 20:24, 8 April 2009 (BST)
Crud! It's been deleted, but...I don't have the faintest idea what to do here. Oh well, I'll get around to this later. Where's the tutorial on how to do stuff? Do I just go to the FAQ's? --Sam 2334 23:30, 9 April 2009 (BST)
- It's still there, but hidden because it was breaking things. The page you used was Los Hombres Siniestros/recruit which is fine, but currently that just redirects to your group's main page which meant your group's main page was getting included instead of a normal advert. Once you've got a proper ad set up, just edit the recruitment page (or follow this handy link [1]) and remove the comment tags to show the ad again. --

- An example of AD can be this one. It's crappily done, but just wanted to show you the code. :) --Janus Abernathy huh? 00:19, 10 April 2009 (BST)
There..
..have a creepy guy in a template (just trying, no worries if you don't like it :P):

Welcome to our Wiki
Hi Sam 2334! As we can see, you made your first edits to this wiki not long ago. It's OK to be new, and we encourage new blood to join and enrich our community. At the same time, we understand that no one is a perfect wiki editor straight off the bat, and, just in case you get stuck, here're some useful tips to help you out. Please take the time to read them.
| General Editing |
Further help for editing the wiki can be found on the Help page. |
| Project Mentor |

Project Mentor has been set up to allow new wiki users to have a more experienced wiki veteran mentor them for the first few weeks. Visit its page for more information! |
| Your User Page |
|
One of the great things about the wiki is that every user can have his or her own user page! These pages are located in the User: namespace — in other words, they all begin with "User:" (yours is User:Sam 2334). The appropriate place to write about yourself or your characters is on your user page, or a subpage of that page (e.g., User:Sam 2334/Your Character's Name). Please don't create pages about yourself outside the User: namespace. Those pages will be moved into subpages of your user page, and the original speedily deleted. If you want something to be deleted, use the speedy deletion page; that's why Criterion 7 was made. |
| User Talk Pages |
|
Every user has a talk page, found by clicking the "discussion" link at the top of his or her user page, or by going directly to it (yours would be User talk:Sam 2334). If you have a question for someone, or want to say something to him or her, his or her user talk page is the place. However, many users on the wiki have established specific guidelines for how their user talk pages are to be treated — where new comments should go, how they should be written, what is or is not okay to talk about, etc. Be sure to look for guidelines on the talk page before you leave a comment. If you don't see any guidelines specified, the assumption is that you should place your comment at the bottom of the talk page, under a level 2 heading. This can be accomplished by clicking the "+" link next to the "edit" tab at the top of the talk page, or by manually typing in your message in this format: ==Message title==
Your message goes here When replying to a comment already laid on the page, remember to indent it correctly: do it by inserting as many colons plus one to the message you're replying to at the begining of your message, like this: ==Message title==
Your message :User's reply ::Your reply |
| The Suggestions Page |
|
We know that as a new user, you want to share your ideas with us. But a community as big as ours has already seen all kind of suggestions, and it's possible that we've already seen something very similar to the ideas you have. Follow these simple guidelines to make sure that your suggestion gets the respect that it deserves:

If there's anything not covered by this introduction, you still have plenty of avenues to find some extra help. Project Welcome and Project Mentor are perfect starting points, but if you have something more pressing at hand, don't be afraid to get in touch with the administration staff. |
Remember: These guidelines may look difficult to learn and follow, but they're mainly just common sense! Think about what you're going to say or do before you do it! If you don't make an effort to do so, then why would others have the obligation to be nice to you? Feel free to ask any Project Welcome member if you need help, that's our purpose anyways!
If you want to delete this text, just delete the {{Welcomenewbie}} line from your talk page. Remember that you can always have access to these tips on the Project Welcome/Welcomenewbie page.

| The following page(s) were orphaned, meaning they weren't linked from any other page on UDWiki. For house-keeping's sake, we are adding the link onto the relevant talk page. If you don't want the pages anymore just post them on the Deletions Page. You aren't required to do anything, but we'd appreciate if it you kept the link on any one of your pages.
Please note that the link provided below will not remove the page from Orphaned Pages, so you'll still need to manually make a link for us. Thank you. |

Just so you know, if you have any other pages you created on a lark that you want deleted, and you're the only author of them, you can bring them to Speedy Deletions instead of Deletions, which lets us deal with them faster. Saves us some bureaucratic overhead. ;) —Aichon— 22:14, 7 May 2010 (BST)
