The addition of {{C}} allows you to halve the amount of text you're using (which, given that you're substing the sig instead of running it as a template call, becomes quite handy), bring it down to just this - -[[User:Scout|{{C|aqua|Scout |#000000}}]][[User talk:Scout|{{C|#00FF80| talk|#000000}}]][[User:Scout/Chickengirloffire|{{C|aqua|!!!|#000000}}]] - which keep the exact same end result.
