Dude, you still around? --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 01:51, 24 June 2007 (BST)

You mean Mall Tour? --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 12:59, 28 June 2007 (BST)

Why not? I've been checking the wiki for all of the older members and just seeing if they are still around. --Ducis DuxSlothTalk 13:20, 28 June 2007 (BST)

MalTel Xmas

Assuming I can get there in time, I'm up for it. --JushhhuGKH/sluRKugGK 13:26, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Not as bad a trip as I feared. I have arrived and have started knocking on the door like a demented carol singer. --JushhhuGKH 00:26, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

whisky

I never dilute a good malt with anything other than a little ice, my one exception is cask strengths to which i will add a little unfrozen water to as well... Come to think of it i don't dilute may spirits at all as if i like em i don't see much point in fucking them up with coke or water or whatever! Bunnahabhain is a very mildly peaty Islay, the only problem is not finishing the bottle in a single sitting if you are drinking with more than 1 other person... seriously this stuff is very smooth with only a hint of smoke! Recently though I have been drinking Isle of Jura, the standard is good but they do a range of limited editions of which "superstition" is the best. At under £20 a bottle b4 christmas it was a very very good deal (beaten only by the ridiculous bargain i sometimes get on th 18yr old 'Livet...)

Hope you don't mind me putting this here but we were in danger of cluttering the other page ;-) --Honestmistake 19:27, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Mmmm laphroag!!! must resist the urge to join you in imbibing its peaty goodness.... No wait a minute i get paid on friday, fuck it "to sobriety, long may it inflict some other poor sod!"--Honestmistake 18:24, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Strange to say i am currently enjoying a bottle of canadian whiskey ny uncle brought me over from Vancouver! have to point out that there are at least 2 malt scotch's made outside scotland... 1 is made under liscence in Japan! they actually trained under scottish experts and shipped over genuine malting vats etc... have not tasted it but it is very well thought of? Isn't Ice wine the very sweet desert type wine? Canada's is indeed the best i have tasted but its still a little too sweet for my taste, I imagine that it would carry over very well into a good malt though (port does!)

As for your favoured accompanyment ;-) i once spent a weekend camping at a re-enactment event and consumed nothing but fine malt (2 bottles) cake (lost count) and some disgracefully strong smokables (more than enough) lets just say i don't remember much... Think i will stick with just a little ice to bring out the flavour from now on :) --Honestmistake 14:12, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

One is currently enjoying Gin & Tonic... so much more suited to the warmer weather :)--Honestmistake 17:42, 12 May 2008 (BST)

Not seen you about for ages but remembered this thread and felt the need to gloat about the £150 bottle of malt I won in a christmas raffle... only problem is that I can't bring myself to just open it for the sake of opening it!!!--Honestmistake 10:57, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
