New squads and their orders

Here are the news. RAF has serious lack of manpower and especially wiki-activity is remarkable low. But we will do what we can, so don’t you worry. We’ll just have to tighten up our lines and work as a real team, not like lone soldiers. Have faith, and help your teammates. I have full trust on you, and I want that every and each one of you will trust RAF as well. RAF can - and will - take Roftwood back from the undead!

  • Ok, here are the new squads. Sgt Semaj will lead on reviving&healing squad. Since our serious lack of NT-specialists and medics, there’s just two men in this squad, and private Spudd is the other member besides prof Semaj. Former RAF member Chineselegolas can assist this squad, if he’s willing to do so.
  • Lieutenant Heckkk haven’t reported in to wiki pages, but I know he is still active. He will take in his lead sergeant Nighthunter and privates Tonyay163, Diceydawg and Scumbagsteve976. This group will form the new Joyner Battalion. Practicly sgt Nighthunter will take care of everyday leading of this squad, ‘cos lt Heckkk will work in special ops most of the time.

I know that there are more active RAF members in the field, but they won’t be using wiki. Heckkk, Nighthunter and Prof Semaj: if you see RAF member not mentioned in this squad forming, please inform them to join either R&H squad or Joyner Battalion. If and when Joyner Batallion gets more members, it will be splitted in two, ‘cos too big squads won’t be efficient. Squads of three to five members are the best. Lt Heckkk and/or sgt Nighthunter can do this splitting as they will, but they’ll have to inform me about the changes afterwards. Privates will follow orders from their squad leaders, and squad leaders will follow quidelines given for ‘em by me. Every RAF member can and is encouraged to recruit more people in our ranks. Inform applicants to contact me in wiki and ask them to read our policy. Remember: no zombie skills are allowed in RAF.

  • And here are the tasks for our squads. H&R will station in central Roftwood. Its task is to use few days in resupplying syringes and FAK’s, and move after that closer to Turpin Road. There it will do a mass reviving to make lines shorter. Use reviving request pages, DNA extractors and other means to save your syringes from the brain rotters. If area is safe, squad can station in there after that – if not, keep central Roftwood as a strongpoint and move back there to resupply once again.
  • Joyner Battalion will take back and hold Northern and Northwestern Roftwood. In practice this means lots of barricading and shooting. Remember operation Bookcase: barricade first, clean after that. And don’t shoot undead in the streets at random. Consentrate taking back buildings that they’ve breached. You are to support H&R squad in its efforts at Turpin Road. Your goal is to have at least four safehouses with extra heavy barricades near Grimshaw PD, Greenhow NT and St Ethelberts Hospital. Working from these safehouses you will take back high profile buildings I just mentioned. If something goes wrong, improvise.

Squads are encouraged to work as a real team: plan your moves, do your attacks/reviving runs/barricading runs at same time, don’t all stay in one place over night. Ask support from other squad and me when needed. Use our revive request -section when in need of reviving. I’ll support both squads, collect intel for our coming moves and keep in touch with our allies. Don’t mention too excact locations or plans in wiki-pages, ‘cos undead spies might find your using that intel. That’s enough chitchat – get moving! --Lt Gen J.Well 14:59, 29 April 2006 (BST)

Report in

i scanned you at moon way earlier sorry i couldnt revive you but it had already moved down the stack and i didnt have you on my contacts

I've got your message of your need to be revived. Please move more east - I'm currently doing barricading runs to Roftwood from Edgecombe, which makes reviving run to western Roftwood difficult. I suggest you move to Moon Way [70,53], 'cos you can be revived in there by some other than me and I can check that spot more easily. I'll check it myself tomorrow, and revive you if you're there. And another thing: as Sgt Semaj said, we're forming new squads in RAF. Report to me whether you want to be part of defensive or offensive squad. Reviving&healing squad consentrates to keep other members in the field and it's a bit safer squad than offensice squads. Offensive squads basicly hold on some key position (ie. Grimshaw PD) and move to other areas doing clearing of the zeds when needed. Lt Gen J.Well 10:43, 21 April 2006 (BST)

Welcome To the RAF. please read our policies to avoid being booted. you can also find a user template here. --Deathnut RAF|W! 23:33, 12 April 2006 (BST)

Well I'm glad to hear that we're getting some support from other survivor groups. Here's some guidelines for you. 1. Don't get killed - it's better to use some extra energy getting further from critical areas and use less energy for shooting down undead, if you can save your life that way. Just one reviving takes nowdays nearly one days energy from fellow survivor. 2. Barricading is the best way to beat undead. You can't shoot 'em more dead than what they already are, and undead have to use lots of energy trying to break down each barricade wich you can build easily. So don't wander in the streets and shoot around: barricade buildings even if they had zombies inside, and after that see if you have any AP's left to clear those buildings. 3. Keep in touch with fellow RAF members via this wiki. Teamwork saves lives. Welcome to RAF, and good luck. - Sgt Jack Well 14:19, 19 April 2006 (BST)

Mmmyea. For future reference try using the preview button instead of saving a page. It loads faster and doesn't spam up recent changes with a billion little edits. Easier all around. --Zaruthustra-Mod 03:49, 28 April 2006 (BST)

Yeh so looks like I won't be able to help with new orders been given out. At the moment I have other matter sto attend so I'll try to make some time to help out. Private Diceydawg 2 Mayl 13:22 2006 (EST)
