[edit] July 31st

A lot of buildings have been barricaded to beyond what they should be for this siege people are talking about. A clear over reaction to the four zombies that found their way into the area, more than likely just going to the revive point. Currently the area is in high alert and is resulting in the deaths of several lower level players. Resulting in MORE zombies and higher alerts. If anyone in charge of those barricades reads this you need to lower them. When I went through Ridleybank there was no concentration of zombies coming Greyside's way. LOWER the barricades, you are doing more harm then good. NOTE: The info on Grayside's current situation was provided by UD player Oldramen. The information on Zombie (or lack there of) buildup in Ridleybank was provided by me. Epicramen

Almost 2 weeks later... Pole Mall is still reporting in safe, and both NTs buildings are being held by survivors. Meanwhile, a tour of central and southern W/G showed plenty of barricades and fuelled generators, as well as a good number of survivors. Zombies still menace some parts of the suburb, but nowhere near at the levels of a few weeks ago. --WanYao 14:42, 18 May 2008 (BST)

[edit] May 5th

An apparent attempt by survivors to establish a small foothold in West Grayside -- including the barricading of some resource buildings and several non-descript safehouses -- has been thwarted. Numerous ferals and members of The Dead have been systematically tearing down barricades and using Feeding Groans effectively to kill any survivors they find inside... Still a very dangerous place to be in possession of a warm, juicy, crenulated brain... M!am, gnammah. --WanYao 16:36, 5 May 2008 (BST)

Pole Mall, 3 zeds outside, 3 inside. Copeland NT down and out. Trying to survive up here, but not sure how long I'll live up here on my own. Will try to update other buildings as I find out (but new to putting these reports up, so may find it difficult to do.) Small groups of zombies scattered with low numbers I seen, most PDs I found ruined. Not sure of numbers of zeds within buildings, be cautious. --Trinity DeKere 12:06, 28 April 2008 (BST)

DIRT:NAP in process to revive the suburb. I'm starting at my position in lower West Grayside at 56,83. Don't forget, if you get revived come back and give a revive. Especially if it's a DIRT:NAPper. --TommyMann 24 April 2008

Well, seeing as the proverbial cat has been let out of the bag... Yes. Pole Mall was recently reclaimed by survivors. Additionally, the barricades in parts of the suburb have been repaired and reinforced. From what I have seen, though, survivor presence is still fairly tenuous and zombie numbers, although actually fairly sparse, are enough that West Grayside's recent urban revitalisation project could very well be short-lived. --WanYao 21:22, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Merryweather Firestation Destroyed, 7 Zombies currently there

The Dead seem to be concentrated, currently, in the north part of West Grayside, which has been completely overrun -- including Pole Mall. Much of the south is still firmly in survivor hands, however, with many powered and well-defended safehouses to be found, and only a handful of zombies. What a great way to start off to November. A large number of people were murdered today inside Pole Mall, including myself by a couple of lowlifes. West Grayside is under a serious threat by PKers and with the possibility of The Second Big Bash approaching. The odds of suburb survival are looking low. --Jorne 21:42, 1 November 2007 EST

The mass murders in Pole Mall appear to have been perpetrated by a large and highly-organised group of killers, many identifying themselves with popular Latin American tradition of Día de los Muertos. It is also notable that Halloween, as it is called in North America, is in fact based on the ancient festival of Samhain, in which livestock were ritually slaughtered to cull the weak from the herd. --WanYao 05:48, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

All survivor groups are invited, yes even PKers, and we ask that you do not engage in any pking while the party is going on from October 30 - November 1. If you engage in such activity, you will be asked to leave the stadium and take your business other places. This is meant to be fun for all. Bounty Hunters be warned also. There will be live performances once each day by the NecroM Band, covering: the Rolling Stones, DevilDriver, and System of a Down. Medical services will be on hand in case a drunken fight gets out of hand. Zombies that wish to engage in the bash will be asked to have a revive first, then you will be allowed inside. Pole Mall is powered and 'caded. Even Clapton is 3/4 powered -- broadcasting footy games, mayhap? Both NTs are also safe and powered. [edit] October 22nd

The Copeland and Topleaf NT buildings, as well as the other nearby strucures, are 'caded, powered and survivor-occupied. There are no standing zombies in the immediate area, and a NecroNet scan shows only a handful in the entire suburb. However, there are twenty bodies in front of the Topleaf and I'm sure not all are dead survivors... Nonetheless, West Grayside is looking pretty safe again... The main danger right now seems to be from the self-titled "RadioSurvivor Street Team". Not affiliated with Radio Survivor, the "street team" is, in fact, murdering civilians in Pole Mall in an attempt to force out information on Uncle Zeddie's true identity and whereabouts. --WanYao 14:41, 22 October 2007 (BST)

Unfortunately, I have to differ. The struggle for NT labs has come to a fragil reversal: while Topleaf hold about 20 survivors, The Copeland building is the ruined scene for a dozen of zombie outside, more than 20 inside, and about 30 bodies lying dead. Topleaf NT Center is in a state of conflict and keeps changing control. Zeds are swarming in the North-East area, probably from the nearby suburbs. Also if Kempsterbank performs river tactics the Big Bash might migrate to West Grayside next.

[edit] October 14th

The Topleaf NT building and Dampney Grove PD was re-taken, repaired and powered again by survivors. They are totally outnumbered, thought, and probably won't last longer without immediate reinforcements. The stadium seems to have been secured again, too. --The Master Scout 11:40, 14 October 2007 (BST)

It's pretty quiet here. 16 zed at bunstone and another 16 outside copeland. --Cort firefighter 22:39, 15 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] October 13th

The Veysey Building fallen which dont happen since more then 9 months... This building was the last stronghold in the center of the suburb. All TOV members are requested to head south toward the Needs Building, especially for revivification. --HunButcher 18:36, 13 October 2007 (BST)

Almost all buildings ruined. The stadium broken into. Malls pretty safe. Not many zeds outside tho... Sockem 04:41, 14 October 2007 (BST)

Well, we have some serious problem in our hands. The damneds attacking the middle area of the suburb, nearly all building ransacked, and infested. We will happy for some help. At least have some ammo, so I will shot down every non-living who wanna live in my room :) But hurry up people. We dont last forever. --HunButcher 16:41, 12 October 2007 (BST)

Help is coming, because Necrotech Mobile is coming to this lost and forgotten suburb. Scouts already found a HQ, and soon we will be operating in this suburb. --Bruce77Willis

[edit] October 10th

2 zeds in Copeland, 1 in Barter, both ruined. We can fix it up if we get a couple of hands. --Apocalyptic doom 3:49, 10 October 2007 (EST)

We have almost taken pole back, but, central west grayside needs desparate help--Cort firefighter 01:05, 11 October 2007 (BST)

"... leaving West Grayside, counted nearly a hundred outside ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... lights are on across the suburb ... serious collateral damage though ... lights are on in the Topleaf Building ... the Copeland Building has ..." -- External Military

[edit] October 9th

topleaf is up and running again but copeland is ruined and has 10 zeds inside of it.---Cort firefighter 22:33, 9 October 2007 (BST)

The Topleaf NT is ruined and the Copeland NT has been breached by over a dozen zombies. Meanwhile, Pole Mall remains ruined and occupied by over 40 zombies, total. --WanYao 04:16, 9 October 2007 (BST)

Hambargar Halparz are havin' a House Party in Wiltshire Towers, celebrating their arrival. All are invited, bring your own barbecue sauce. This is just the begining folks, Malton's most well choreographed zambahs have arrived, prepared to be MOBbed as well. -- bisfan 08:48, 09 October 2007 (AEST)

Music is optional. Dancing is mandatory. Also, bring brainz. --The Zombie Bob Ross 00:01, 9 October 2007 (BST)
The survivors are starting to clear the middle section, however the zombie presence is still large. --HunButcher 11:12, 9 October 2007 (BST)
Clapton stadium is mostly EHB and being slept in by quite a few people. What (extremely opinionated statement self-censored) changed the suburb to VD?--AlexanderRM 00:13, 10 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] October 8th

The zombies are pushing through to the copeland building area. -- Cort firefighter

There are further reports of breaches and very low barricades elsewhere in the suburb. Additionally, a MoB strike team has just taken out St Odile's Hospital right across border in East Grayside. The situation could be said to be worsening... --WanYao 15:59, 8 October 2007 (BST)

For the survivors. NPOV, remember? --AlexanderRM 22:43, 8 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] October 6th

With many assaults West Grayside has fallen into ruins. It fell within twelve hours the younghusband was the last stand for west grayside. It seems as though pole fell to under one hundred zombies. --χαμένος άγγελος >T!R!Z!A!LJ!Brainz is a zerger

09:12, 6 october 2007 (BST)

Clapton Stadium is in ruins and the surronding area are starting to get broken into.--Palzinator 07:57, 6 October 2007 (BST)

Zeds have broken down the barricades of NW Clapton Stadium and are moving throughout. 14 at last count. --Scurvy mcgurk 05:13, 6 October 2007 (BST)

NOTE: Please see the sururb talk page for discussion of local danger levels. Thanks. --WanYao 22:56, 6 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] October 5th

Pole Mall has fallen completely into zed control, with 20+ in each section. Time to launch a counter-attack. --Mu Nuckle 15:27, 5 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] October 4th

Status of Pole Mall unchanged. 60+ zeds have ruined the NW corner. Many survivors still occupy the other 2 sections but it remains to be seen if a survivor counter attack can be mounted. --WanYao 09:32, 4 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] October 3rd

have we ever thought were the zombies are coming from? I mean LUE keeps attacking pole first. they arent coming from kinch so they must be coming from kempserbank. having those suburbs could mean a early warning system.-Cort firefighter

The suburb itself is safe and clean with the exception of Pole Mall, which is besieged by LUE, (again). Revive lines still moving smoothly.--Mayor FittingT SMW RR 23:56, 3 October 2007 (BST)

With a horde of 50+ zeds currently sieging Pole Mall I suggest an upgrade in danger level from 'Moderate' to 'Dangerous' -- Yau

The NW Corner of Pole Mall has fallen. All survivors in that section were killed or fled. Now has 60 Zeds standing their in the ruins. Zed's have destroyed the generators in the other two sections of the mall. It will be interesting to see if the huge piles of survivors in the two remaining sections attack and retake the mall (which they could easily do) or if they panic and run. --Wke235 06:53, 4 October 2007 (BST)

[edit] October 2nd

Pole Mall is under attack by LUE. Again. 40+ Zeds got inside last night, though they were cleared eventually. Expect more of same... --WanYao 00:00, 3 October 2007 (BST)

No zeds around, but east grayside and kemptserbank need help. -Cort firefighter

[edit] September 29th

I see NO STANDING ZOMBIES. At all! It's so quiet here! --Vkkhamul 17:34, 29 September 2007 (BST)

[edit] September 25th

All seems clear in WG except for all the bodies. Finally, Barter Road, Topleaf, Dampney, and Copeland are all lit up and running. Yes, I am the one saying we've finished the fight. And right on time, Halo 3 comes out today. We sure showed those zombies. West Grayside Rocks!!! --Apocalyptic doom

[edit] September 22nd

External Military report (07:00): "... leaving West Grayside, counted a hundred or so outside ... a horde of twenty or so outside Pole Mall ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ... some survivor activity in the Topleaf Building ..." --WanYao 20:55, 22 September 2007 (BST)

[edit] September 21st

Pole Mall is under current holding by humans, any survivors are welcomed back with a small detachment of The Renegades assisting in the hold of Pole Mall. Organization has begun and the hordes will be driven out of West Grayside soon! Come one come all! Zombies will fall! -Someone Tough

Pole Mall is being held, yes. However, the central part of the suburb is still under heavy attack. Although both NTs were (at least nominally) in survivor hands earlier tonight (though not powered), many buildings nearby were open and ruined, and zombie numbers significant. Survivors are urged to assist in this area if possible. --WanYao 02:41, 22 September 2007 (BST)

[edit] September 20th

Revives at the cemetery are coming along. Numbers of zombies standing there are down to 18. Not a small number, but an improvement, certainly. It's being worked on, thanks for your patience. --WanYao 22:07, 20 September 2007 (BST)

[edit] September 19th

We aren't doomed or being doomed, but there are 38 zeds at the revive point. Does this mean it's a horde or just a bunch of survivors wanting to be revivificated? Mark Colbert

[edit] September 18th

It looks like we are being doomed, more and more zed attacking the safehouses where the survivors hiding, and now, with falling of the Police station and the both NT building we running out from ammo, and revive. The north area of the suburb is under siege, but the south still safe... but who knows how long. There is a chance uif we will fall if someone not come and start running the revive points, because more then 50 zed need reviving in the suburb, but watch out, my scan show there is many Rotten between them, so be careful. I wish good luck for everyone who still keep the forth up and running. If the zeds wanna play hard, we will play hard, and kick they **** out from here :) --
