An elite Necrotech Paramilitary Assault Team, they were left behind once the zomboids started munching to protect the researching scientists in the Crowbank suburb. Having lost many in the original infection, only the two most senior members of the NPT have survived to rename themselves the Zombie Paramilitary Assault Team to pay homage to Necrotech's hand in the outbreak.
With Crowbank as their suburban base, they travel the suburb looking for any survivors in need of a helping hand.

September 1, 2007 The Toop has fallen and in light of the recent developments in the NW section of Malton ZPAU is heading to Roftwood to establish a Safe Zone for survivors. Any willing to help, please join us. We need all hands available. -- MrSeville 00:34, 2 September 2007 (BST)

August 29, 2007 Zombie activity has increased considerably since my last supply and exp run a couple days ago, there are several groups of 2 to 3 zombies within 5 blocks of the Toop, larger groups are becoming more frequent, but nothing as large as 10...yet...well thats all for now --Shaltec 15:35 29 August 2007 (BST)
August 28, 2007 ZPAU has maintained the barricades longer against the hordes than all else yet. It continues to stay a safe point. We plan to soon provide medical services and generator power. August 25, 2007 While out on a stroll i found several small groups of zombies within a few blocks of The Toop Motel including one outside, and i found a hoarde of 11 zombies at a cemetary about 6 to 8 blocks away, could be a revive point though in which case threat level would be low. -- Shaltec 21:00, 25 August 2007 (BST)
