Description

Acott Crescent is an open street located in the suburb of Pescodside.

It connects Medway Street to Lanning Lane and borders St. Matthias's Church to the north and Croom Towers to the south.

History

Acott Crescent used to be the site of the Acott factories, but when they got torn down in 1935, the City Council bought the plot of land and planned a new street there. Acott Crescent was opened in July 1937 and had a small monument dedicated to the nearby Millerd Walk Fire Station, but it was destroyed after the outbreak.
