Description

A narrow east-west lane with asphalt covering cobblestone. The centre of the roadway is the bed of an old rail spur that once connected Cockburn Plaza Railway Station to factories to the east. It is lined on both sides by Edwardian row houses in red brick.

History

Aris Road is a remnant of a road that once connected Old Arkham, Spicer Hills and Dartside. It is named for Aris Papadakis, a Malton freighting magnate who was active in the 1940s through 1960s.
