The air was of rose and gold
Arabesqued with the song of birds
Who, swinging unseen under leaves,
Made music more eager than words.

Of a sudden, aslant the road,
A brightness to dazzle and stun,
A glint of the bluest blue,
A flash from a sapphire sun.

Blue-birds so blue, 't was a dream,
An impossible, unconceived hue,
The high sky of summer dropped down
Some rapturous ocean to woo.

Such a colour, such infinite light!
The heart of a fabulous gem,
Many-faceted, brilliant and rare.
Centre Stone of the earth's diadem!

Centre Stone of the Crown of the World,
Sincerity graved on your youth
And your eyes hold the blue-bird flash,
The sapphire shaft, which is truth.

Beautiful, celebrated, Azure.

Azuria Reborn

Once, many centuries, ago, our Azurian forefathers shrieked out a battle-cry under the heartless azure sky, swearing to defend their sovereign and their land until they died.

The call echoed through villages, down the running banks of the Ruddle River, and reached the settlements of the Pagan Saxons themselves. Then, banners fluttering and horns sounding, the Azurian force charged down the hillside with their prince at the head, hewing their godless enemy before them.

Today, we stand defiant under the grayish hues of a breaking Malton dawn, making that oath once again.

Our call echoes through the suburbs, the corpse-choked eddies of the Ruddle River, reaching the dens of the undead themselves. Then, our flags furiously streaming and bugles calling, we charge down the streets with our prince at our head, firing from the hip and mowing down the heathen like the chaff they are.

Let all unite for God and country, while Azure Nixbank sings.

Why do we fight?

For centuries, Azuria lay forgotten under the sands of time, spited by foreigners and Maltonians alike. The current union of Malton, like every unfair union, includes more peoples and nations who think of themselves as something other than citizens of this anarchic cesspool. Like any union or empire, Malton is not one with itself. All peoples have the right to independence.

The Front for the Total Liberation of Azuria was designed to promote the independence of the Azure nation. We recognize that freedom is a self-determination for all people, and have concluded that the Azurian people, with their own unique history, language, culture, and faith, have the right to be free in the land of our fathers, in that land which was duly received, or occupied when it was uninhabited.

No nation, city, or entity has the right to decide for another. No regime and no people may decide for another.
