Brooke Hills Maintainable Defense Plan

The BHMDP is a modification of the currently implemented BHODP that was created to address the issue of overbarricading and frequent small, group fighting within the suburb itself. Variations of the plan include less VSB buildings (only 13, as compared to the former 22), shrinking the number of easily accessible resource buildings, changing the general layout to reduce the number of "unnecessary" entry points, entry points already 1 away from another VSB building, and attempting to provide a larger number of safehouses.

This plan promotes the use of Free Running, as it provides many more EHB buildings than the former and the only 2 Necrotech's in the suburb are only accessible through the use of free running. While that may seen a detriment to new players, it addresses the issue of overbarricading and those new players getting frustrated and players going around the suburb dropping barricades frequently. It also still provides a number of resource buildings essential for new players, such as 3 police departments, 1 fire station, and a hospital (Although that will not be accessible in times of emergency).

Key
"Limited Access" Buildings
Heavy Barricades Survivors require Free Running to enter, by accessing via an adjacent building.
Freely Enterable Buildings
"Very Strong"

barricades

The Barricades in these buildings should be kept at VSB, and no higher, to allow all Survivors accessibility to community resources.
Free Runners should rest nearby in EHB buildings, to avoid creating large targets.
Fire Stations B.H. has 2 Fire Stations, one freely accessible, the other right next door to the hospital and kept at EHB.
Police Dept. B.H. has 6 Police Depts, of which 3 are freely accessable, The other 3 being near other PDs, and kept at EHB. - see Notes below).
Hospital Hospitals should always be accessible to all Survivors, unless current circumstances prevent it.
Buildings outside Brooke Hills
(white label) Buildings outside of suburb and not applicable to this plan.
Hospital Hopefully not over barricaded, unless there is a good reason.
Revive Points Revivification Points should "never" be barricaded, so zombies can enter freely. In theory.

Notes

  • This plan is a redefined version of the Brooke Hills Optimal Defense Plan.
  • The reason for the change was both as an update and to fix the overbarricading problem in the suburb.
  • Any revive points missed may be added.
  • All entry points are within 4 blocks from another entry point or unbarricaded building.
  • This plan does not note nearby suburb defense plans, if you know of one and would like to see it added, please provide a link to it on the discussion page.
  • This plan is up for discussion currently.
