Basic Info:

Bagnall Way

Description

A narrow east-west lane with asphalt covering cobblestone. The centre of the roadway is the bed of an old rail spur that once connected Cockburn Plaza Railway Station to factories to the east.

History

Bagnall Way is a remnant of a road that once connected Old Arkham, Spicer Hills and Dartside. Industrial and commercial growth has fragmented the road. It is named for W.G. Bagnall, which was bought by English Electric in the 1960s.
