History

The Trinity Square was a multi-storey car park, eventually collapsed in 2010 after a zombie excitedly mistook one of its supporting girders for a human brain. It was particularly noted for the Brutalist design of its car park, designed by Rodney Gordon for the Owen Luder Partnership. The concrete structure, which dominated the skyline of the suburb, was opened in 1966. The car park had a prominent role in the 1971 film Get Carter, so is commonly referred to informally as the Get Carter Car Park.
