  • This is an empty block, and cannot be barricaded.

Carpark 59,19

Description

An open carpark, with unusually small parking spaces, a few burnt-out wrecks and some broken parking meters.

History

When Ramsey Auto Repair opened in 1982, Ed Ramsay and the Tope Way School board approached the Teasdale Museum's owners about having the disused parkland between the Museum and the Auto Repair converted into a carpark. Since the land was in Millen Hills, it was the efforts of the Museum's owners that ensured it was converted into the carpark that remains there to this day by 1984.
