:It would be considered a dupe unless it was significantly different from the original. The length of time since it was rejected/duped/spammed holds no significance. If you have a suggestion that looks like a dupe, it's best to look at the reasons that it was rejected, find out if there can be an improvement on it and then open a new suggestion with your improvements. Be sure to indicate in your suggestion that it is an improvement upon the original (some people title their suggestion with "2.0" or something similar) and it also helps to highlight the areas which are improvements on the original. Otherwise, it is likely to get dupe votes and close early. ~[[Image:Vsig.png|link=User:Vapor]] 13:33, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

re-votes

just thought of a reasonable question...if a suggestion was peer rejected 4 years ago, does that mean it can't be suggested again & voted on since there are new/different people here who didn't get to vote on older suggestions? no, i don't want gunshots to be re-voted on. but since i was wondering, i'm just asking... It would be considered a dupe unless it was significantly different from the original. ~Vsig.png 13:33, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
