Description

Catherine General Hospital is the only hospital in the suburb of Yagoton. First aid kits and Newspapers can be found here. Tagging Catherine General Hospital earns no XP. This is an important place for healing in Yagoton. Patients from the Yagoton Revivification Clinic and the Harkness Street Revive Point may spend further time at Catherine General Hospital after revivification. It is believed that members of the Yagoton Revivification Clinic, assisted by the survivor group The Abandoned, are active in the hospital providing post-revivification care, as well as maintaining the portable generator in the hospital.

History

Barricading

According to Yagoton Barricade Plan, this building is to be kept at VSB at all time. Catherine General Hospital is to be barricaded up to only Very Strongly to ensure that patients without free running may seek further post-revivification treatment at the hospital. As such, it is one of the free running entry way of the south-west of Yagoton.

Resource buildings can often become over barricaded in time of crisis. If this ever happen, two alternative free running entry ways can be found around this building: The Hampton Arms one block west and two blocks north and St. Godric's Church one block east and two blocks south. Those alternative entry ways are thus usually better for the tired survivor.

Current Status

11th of June 2020

The building was besieged and taken by the Zed horde. Currently occupied but not in ruins. Mafiamanz (talk) 08:19, 11 June 2020 (UTC)

3rd of June 2013 The building has been extremely heavily barricaded - you can see no way to enter.-should be kept @ Very Strongly according to barricade policy. ppl should attack to lower barricade lev to VSB.

Same as before,it is over barricaded above the level of possible entry by survivors, which is no good for survivors but perfect for zombies in keeping us outside as easy targets. Concerned'Citizen 03:12, 3 June 2013 (BST)

The normal policy for resource buildings in Yagoton which are VSB is to keep them at VSB unless they are currently under attack. If you see that the clinic is EHB but there is no zombies hitting at the doors then by all means please get it back to VSB++ or inform us so we can do it for you. -- •Eagle of Fire•

Overbarricaded as of 21:43, 12 August 2009 (BST). --RebootedLain

One year later and still EHB. But functional. --Pit Pleti 23:58, 11 August 2010 (BST)

EHB 6.10.2011, shouldn't we reduce that to VSB so that newbies can enter?
