Club Freestone

Paynterton [96, 36]

Kershaw Row Hyman Street Dunford Lane Fire Station
Jennings Avenue Club Freestone Farrent Street
the Pender Building a junkyard Longmate Plaza

Basic Info:

  • Clubs are Dark buildings.
  • The usual internal description of a Club reads as follows:
"…in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor."
  • When powered by a portable generator, the internal description changes to the following:
"Coloured spotlights highlight an empty stage, and distorted music echoes over the speakers."
  • Clubs can be barricaded normally.

Club Freestone

Humans and zombies alike will see the following (permanent) description when standing outside the building:

"You are standing outside Club Freestone, a fire-damaged grey-stone building surrounded by a large paved plaza."

Such a description is always followed by a report of the building's condition (e.g. the level of its barricades), but since that report is never permanent and always subject to change, it is redundant to include it here as well.

This club was a hub of the post-hippie subculture in Malton. Most bands who performed were of the psychedelic rock, space rock, and art rock genres.

Barricade Policy

Extremely Heavily Barricaded per Paynterton Barricade Plan.
