Basic Info:

  • Clubs are Dark buildings.
  • The usual internal description of a Club reads as follows:
"…in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor."
  • When powered by a portable generator, the internal description changes to the following:
"Coloured spotlights highlight an empty stage, and distorted music echoes over the speakers."
  • Clubs can be barricaded normally.

Description

Malton's one and only non-alcoholic club.

History

When it was running, it regularly held dance off competitions mainly for the youth culture of the area.

Suprisingly this club has managed to escape the ravages of time. Dust covers all the fittings and fixtures.

Ironically, the last record to be played in the club was Michael Packson's 'Chiller'

  • The video to this was shot at local cemeteries and on location at Pitman Mansion.

Barricade Policy

This building is to be kept at EHB at all times.

Current Status

6/26/2009 You are inside Club Furnell, in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor. The building has fallen into ruin, and with the lights out, you can hardly see anything. The doors to the street have been left wide open.--Dr Mycroft Chris 02:38, 27 June 2009 (BST)
