Basic Info:

  • Clubs are Dark buildings.
  • The usual internal description of a Club reads as follows:
"…in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor."
  • When powered by a portable generator, the internal description changes to the following:
"Coloured spotlights highlight an empty stage, and distorted music echoes over the speakers."
  • Clubs can be barricaded normally.

Club Otero is one of two Clubs in Miltown, a suburb of Malton.

Designed for the cream of Miltown high society, Club Otero did well when it first opened in the 1920s. It's large selection of rare whiskeys was unrivaled and rumors of a haunting of the club brought many famous investigators of the paranormal to it's doors. Unfortunately hard times hit Club Otero, with its closure in the 1980s.

It was reopened in 90s as an student bar for the medical students from the hospitals of Miltown and it ran with fantastic profits till the outbreak.

During the weeks before the outbreak a team of archaeologists were excavating the basement after a number of bone fragments were discovered. After translating a ancient engraving the team discovered that the Club was built on a cursed burial ground from a long forgotten civilization.

Notes

It was been long since confirmed that the ghost which walked the Halls of Club Otero was none other than The Coalition's Minimax, the only known person to be part of the walking dead before the outbreak.

When asked as to why he came back from the other side he replied "Well I could touch anything you see as I was a ghost. Oh sure I could open a door or knock something off a mantle piece but when I saw the zombies running around the place eating brains, and I thought to myself I want a piece of that action."
