Basic Info:

  • Clubs are Dark buildings.
  • The usual internal description of a Club reads as follows:
"…in the near-darkness of the main dancefloor."
  • When powered by a portable generator, the internal description changes to the following:
"Coloured spotlights highlight an empty stage, and distorted music echoes over the speakers."
  • Clubs can be barricaded normally.

This is one of the two clubs in the suburb of Peddlesden Village, the other is Club Verncomb. The Club was always quite popular during more civilised times, perhaps if it was called 'Club Tortured Baby Cow' things would have been different...

In an attempt to bring some social life back into Peddlesden Village, some people, the Club Veal Gang, got together to carry the torch lit by the owners of Club Meade into this suburb. Now that the electrics and the plumbing have been fixed, the kitchen restocked and the turntables replaced, the Club welcomes everyone who'd like to party! The Club is intended to be a haven for the living AND the undead. Civilized behaviour inside the Club and on its grounds is essential. Failure to comply will be met with deadly force. These are tough times, tough measures must be taken. But as long as everyone behaves, everyone is welcome.

Revivification Policy

Since there have been numerous attempts recently to break into the Club, we no longer revive Zombies in the vicinity of the Club, unless they register as Regulators or DHPD. Instead, we support the Revive Point at the church.

Barricading Policy

The barricades are at very strong at all times. This way, survivors can enter and zombies with hostile intend are kept out. As mentioned above, peaceful zombies waiting outside without bothering anyone will be revived ASAP, depending on availability of syringes.

To stress this again: Do not attack Zombies on the grounds of the Club unless attacked first and/or the Zombie in question is a confirmed Brainrotter or on the DHPD Most Wanted List.

The News

May 5th 2010 After a long absence, the Club Veal gang has reclaimed the Club. Lights are on again. The Club is barricaded up.
January 14th 2007 I just wanted to p(o)int out the following fact: The Club Veal Gang is still alive and well and is still taking care of the Club! We are currently alternating between Caiger Mall and the Bascombe Building. You can find us there and in the Club, of course!
August 4th 2006 Brawl in the Club! For the last three days (at least) there have been numerous attempts (some successful, others not) by various Zombies to break into the Club, amongst them members of the Lebende Tote. The Club Veal Gang enjoys a little sporting competition and welcomes further break-in attempts. For this reason, Tooze Bank and Nich Library are declared Resting/Spectating areas. The Club Veal Gang will not attack zombies standing in these locations for the duration of the brawl, as long as they don't attempt to break into these buildings, as they will be considered spectators. BATTLE ON!

July 29th 2006 We are back! The Club Veal Gang is back in the Village!

July 2006 The Big Bash has temporarily forced us to withdraw from the Club. We are already working on our return.

March 26th 2006 Since there have been a number of instances where patrons where attacked by Zombies inside the Club and or/ Zombies who just went in got slain by survivors without prior provocation the Club Veal Gang has opened Club Verncomb as a special place for Zombies to party. The doors are open at Club Verncomb! The Club has been tagged accordingly.

March 20th 2006 Some people never learn! The first brainrotter was slain outside the Club.

March 16th 2006 The Club Veal Gang is pleased to report a steady stream of customers and its first revive. Also, to make life more comfortable for the survivors of Peddlesden Village, the Gang will henceforth supply comodities and essential services to those in need. They also declare allegiance to the DHPD and all other survivor groups in the suburb.

March 8th 2006 The Club is officially open for business. Revives are available. Come along and party people! DHPD and Regulators both get their first drink of the evening free, this offer does not include cocktails, sorry.
