Zombies frequently check inside. At the moment the Hospital is one of the few buildings in which Portable Generators have a use other than powering the lights, and increasing search probability. Players with the Surgery Skill can heal for 15 HP if the Hospital has a fueled up Generator. Hospitals are listed as Tactical Resource Points. Hospitals can be barricaded normally. Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals: "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire" "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape." "...one of the city's psychiatric hospitals." "...dark corridors leading through abandoned wards." "...its emergency room in disarray." "...its lobby covered with quarantine posters." "...a children's hospital with bright murals across the walls. " "The main lobby is riddled with bullet holes." "It was one of the last to be evacuated, and seems to have been cleared out in a hurry." "...a derelict hospital that was closed down years ago."

Cornelius General Hospital is located at 80th St and 36th Ave. We work closely with The Usher Building and Goldney Place Police Department to provide services for the communities of Heytown and Spracklingbank.

What with the apocalypse and all, we have plenty of beds to spare. Patients are welcome, and even engouraged, to stay indefinitely at the hospital free of charge. We ask that, if possible, you bring your own bedpan and some fuel for the generator.

Serving the Community

• Unlike many hospitals, we do not maintain an open emergency room, but rather provide care by house call and appointment. To request a house call or schedule an appointment please speak with our staff at The Mad Craskers Forum.

Barricading policy

According to the Spracklingbank Barricade Plan, Cornelius General Hospital must never be more than Very Strongly (VS+2) barricaded. This hospital is the only medical shelter in the suburb. Therefore it must be kept accessible to all survivors, with or without Free Running, at all times. The only exception is when the building is currently under siege from 5 or more zombies, in which it can be Extremely Heavily barricaded. When the danger has passed, the barricades should be torn down so everyone can access it again.

Current Status

19 Sept, 2009 - The hospital is at VHB. About a dozen survivors. A small group of zeds 1 block east. Generator up and running. --Mx311 02:37, 20 September 2009 (BST)

Sep 5th, 2009 - The hospital has been attacked earlier today. Number of victims unsure, but the hospital is currently Heavily Barricaded to keep the 16 zed mob outside.
