Dartside is a suburb of Malton, located in the south of the city. In times past, it was a industrial and working-class neighborhood, inhabited, like Greentown, largely by immigrants or the close descendents thereof. After the industrial boom ceased in the '50s, the suburb fell on hard times, with only four of the factories remaining open and the empty lots turning into wasteland by the mid-'70s. Although experience economic difficulties, Dartside retained a large number of railroads, which during its better days carried raw materials to the factories and finished good away. The suburb has a high number of hospitals. Before the outbreak, it had the 4th largest population of all suburbs.

Overall the suburb has returned to normal. Small groups of zeds hither and yon but the only constant undead presence are the St. Ferreol lot. They don't appear to be present in great numbers though. --Holtzfeller 22:49, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

Popped round for a look. A few survivors must have done the same for there are a handful of caded buildings and a number of repaired buildings. Undead presence is relatively light, at least in the east of the suburb. --Holtzfeller 15:12, 6 October 2010 (BST)
