Darvall Heights is the twenty-third suburb of Malton, located in the northwest of the city. Darvall Heights is one of the most active suburbs, with several famous locations, large groups, and events of historical significance.

One of the best-known locations in Darvall Heights is Caiger Mall, the eastern half of which is in the suburb and the western half is in Chudleyton. Caiger Mall has historically had the highest survivor population of any building in Malton, owing to the fact that it has repulsed two large scale zombie attacks. For more information, see Siege of Caiger Mall. Caiger Mall was once seen as a symbol for survivors throughout Malton, but has lost much of its reputation since it fell to a massive zombie horde in the Third Siege of Caiger Mall. Since the outbreak, the suburb's notoriety for large zombie numbers has earned it the nickname "Devil's Heights" amongst the local survivor population.

The suburb was also significant for both historical groups Liberation of Crossman Department and Crossman Defense Force. It is now significant to the Soldiers of Crossman, who consider it a birthplace and their homeland.

The Herman Building is the only Necrotech in Malton that is home to a Mobile Phone Mast, as such its Generator serves more than one purpose.

August 31 EMRP: "... reporting from Darvall Heights, I've got twenty or so active ... all stragglers, no groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ... the Herman Building has lights on ... Caiger Mall is out of action ..."

Northern Darvall Heights appears safe. (ref 1/ref 2). Caiger mall area more questionable (ref 3). Suburb may be either moderately dangerous or dangerous, but it's not very dangerous. --Jen 18:40, 2 September 2011 (BST)

May

May 18th

The brave attempt to rebuild the suburb tragically failed when zombies quickly brought down all previously repaired buildings: The Herman Building, St. Eutychian's, St. Matheos's, and St. Pius's Hospital, and Adney and Wheelhouse Auto Repair. No resource building is left standing at the moment. -- Kittithaj 14:39, 18 May 2011 (BST)

Attempting to rebuild darvall heights could use military back up requesting assistance from local residents Will report location soon --Jakesthemam68 17:48, 17 May 2011 (BST)

March

March 5th

I wondered how long it would take for the hoard to respond. It didn't take long. Caiger Mall is a shambles again, with shambling beasts completing the effect in all corners. The rest of the suburb looks good, though I can no longer call it totally "safe". Roberto Tomba 17:29, 5 March 2011 (EST)

March 4th

I decided to wait several days from my last report before assessing again, to see if things are as stable as they appear to be. After taking a walk around, I can now declare Darvall Heights as "Safe". There are a scattering of zombies here and there, but no real threats. I wouldn't suggest camping outside, but this is the safest this suburb has been in months. Roberto Tomba 18:52, 4 March 2011 (EST)

February

February 28th

The liberation of Darvall Heights is nearly complete! Even Caiger Mall is back in the hands of the survivors. Roberto Tomba 13:44, 28 February 2011 (EST)

February 24th

The survivors in Darvall Heights continue to be resilient. Except for the Caiger Mall area, most of it is powered and heavily barricaded. Roberto Tomba 01:50, 24 February 2011 (EST)

February 18th

Darvall Heights is fairly quiet, but that's due to the fact that most of it is powered-down. Ruined buildings are rare, except near Caiger Mall (which can be expected). Zombie population is also sparse, except where they garrison the ruins. If it weren't sandwiched between two of the most dangerous 'burbs - Chudleyton and Eastonwood - Darvall Heights could be on its way to recovery. Roberto Tomba 22:26, 18 February 2011 (EST)

February 8th

Team Anaconda arrived roughly a week ago to lower the danger level. The suburb looks safe but the Mall and both NTs are under attack, all Hospitals are safe and powered. ~THOROAEBORUS 21:24, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

February 6th

Thank you to everyone who helped. The great suburb group massacre has finished and as a result Malton Forensics Unit and M.E.M.S. have been removed from the suburb group listing.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 18:20, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
