Dudd Park

Description

Dudd Park is the only park in the suburb of Vinetown.

History

Purchased in the 40s by an investor who believed Vinetown's fortunes were on the up. Dudd Park was originally designed to be a golf course. Sadly this dream was never fulfilled, and on the death of its owner in 1968 it was bequeathed to the citizens with only one condition. Its fine grass was always to be kept short, so golfers could use the land.
