2010

November 25th, 2010 - It would appear that Red Hawk One has expanded his efforts by issuing recon reports across the airwaves too, as indicated in this compiled radio transcript: "Good evening Rhodenbank! And for our American listeners, Happy Thanksgiving! It's been a while, but KRFR is back! First up, suburb status. Zombie movements seem to be concentrated along the Rolt-Pescodside and Rhodenbank-Earletown border, which are seeing some ruins and zombie groups of 4-7. The trouble spot on the Rhodenbank-Earletown border contains the Wortley Building (NT), St. Helier's, and St. Alban's. The first two are ruined with 5+ zombies outside, while the last location is EHB with exactly 5 zombies outside. Last check on St. Helier's only had a single rotter inside, so one or two survivors *may* be able to reclaim it on their own. Meanwhile, the trouble spot along the Rolt-Pescodside border is centered around the BAR's territory, and was covered in the last recon report.

"Other than these trouble spots, the region as a whole is faring very well. Most buildings are heavily barricaded and maybe 60-70% are lit. Of course with the relative safety comes a different problem: overbarricading. Check out the suburb plan and see if your building is designated a VSB entry point; while heavy 'cades are great during sieges, they don't do much more than lock newbies out during calm periods. Don't let this happen! And that's the news! You're listening to KRFR 27.96. Until next time, RED out!"

November 23rd, 2010 - Veteran RCDC recon operative, Red Hawk One reported the following information on the situation in Northeast Malton: "On my way back up through the Rolt Heights/Pescodside area, I saw most of the buildings were intact. The RHVP HQ at Ayliffe Street PD was pretty lively and the folks were rather chatty. Unfortunately, the chat was mostly about zombies. It seems there is a small-to-medium sized horde drifting around Rolt Heights that has been picking fights at the local TRPs. I dropped in at the BAR as well, but it seems they are one of the zombies favorite targets. Last I saw, Burchell was ruined with 11 zombies inside.

"Further north, Rhodenbank appears at first glance to be in similar shape as Rolt Heights, minus the zombies. One point of interest is the Wallbutton NT, which was pinata'd. I was able to take down the barricades, but the zombie is still inside. Free experience to whoever wants to kill/CR it and then repair the place."

November 16th, 2010 - While the events surrounding the disbandment of the Alliance's former member group, the Earletown Rangers, were tragic it has not all been bad news. Recently a new group called Atlas has risen from the ashes. While the new group is smaller than the original the group's leader, HiteiKan was well known and trusted among the Alliance Brass. As such, it should come as no surprise that Atlas requested, and was today accepted, as the newest member group to join the Dulston Alliance. We wish them the best of luck in their efforts to bring order to Pescodside.

November 6th, 2010 - Due to an internal conflict between Taco2 (founding leader) and HiteiKan (current leader), the Earletown Rangers have been disbanded. We were recently informed of the news and understand that some of the group's former members are still interested in remaining within the Alliance. However, for those who have decided to move on, we wish them the best of luck.

October 31st, 2010 - The Dulston Alliance would like to wish all the survivors in northeast Malton a "Happy Halloween". Be sure to have fun and avoid the zombies, as those aren't costumes.

October 15th, 2010 - Recon has reported that the Militant Order of Barhah is in Gibsonton, and are reported to be heading north. Efforts are currently underway to join forced with the Burchell Arms Regulars in a united front against the MoB. Operatives and local survivors are asked to be on the look-out for MoB sightings.

September 20th, 2010 - The Alliance would like to thank The Fortress for holding their celebration in Dulston. There was much fun had by all.

September 15th, 2010 - A new diplomatic mission with The Fortress has garned their support and they have chosen to celebrate their 5th Anniversary at Troubridge Cinema in Dulston on September 20th. All survivors who are interested are welcome to join the party. It goes without saying that zombies and criminals are not invited to the celebration.

September 14th, 2010 - With the recent fall of Treweeke Mall efforts are underway to recapture the hallmark building. As of today half the ruined mall has been recaptured. Sporadic zombie conflicts continue elsewhere throughout Dulston.

September 8th, 2010 - Efforts in the Second Front have secured further headway in Rhodenbank as most building are in good repair and barricaded, with only a few without power. Recon reports have however indicated increased zombie activity in southern Dulston, so survivors are warned to be on alert around all resource buildings, especially Treweeke Mall.

September 6th, 2010 - The Second Front, as it has been called by members of the Alliance, is the continued anti-zombie warfare taking place between the suburbs of Earletown-Rhodenbank-Dulston as the Dulston Alliance continues to fight the good fight. Currently successes have been secured on the eastern end of the battle with multiple buildings recaptured in Dulston.

September 1st, 2010 - RCDC recon reported that western Rhodenbank is on the verge of recovery, but survivors are asked to keep an eye out for what the Alliance refers to as "semi-feral" zombies. These are unaligned zombies that have been active in the suburb, striking with reasonable frequency every few days to overrun one or more buildings within a short span of time before scattering. Efforts are currently underway to curb zombie aggression in Rhodenbank in order to restore stability.

August 31st, 2010 - As quickly as it arrived, it almost seems too soon for the Dulston Alliance Awards to end, but end they must. For those outside the Alliance who are curious as to the outcome the member group which scored the highest ranking was, somewhat surprisingly, the D.I.T.P.S, While the D.I.T.P.S are best known for their laid-back pseudo-serious manner of survival tactics they pulled through some serious points which afforded them victory over their closest contenders, the RCDC. The title of "best of the best" though was awarded to yonnua koponen of Dead vs Blue. Congratulations go to every Alliance operative who participated!

August 30th, 2010 - While those operatives joining in Operation: Rainbow In The Dark had a lot of initial success and laughs with the comrades-in-arms, eventually the RRF did take the matter seriously enough to overrun the Blackmore Building with 30+ zombies. As such, the operation has come to a glorious (violence-filled) end and all operatives are now shuffling home to northeast Malton.

August 24th, 2010 - The Earletown Rangers have initiated Operation: Rainbow In The Dark, which is just a fancy name for those operatives who want to join the survivor struggle to defend the Blackmore Building over in Ridleybank just to spite the RRF. Any interested Alliance operatives are encouraged to join in the fun and kill a zombie, preferably one from the RRF.

August 7th, 2010 - The Alliance would like to congratulate everyone who participated in the Hang 'Em High competition. As of now the competition has officially ended. Trophies have been awarded to those hunters who excelled him punishing the guilty, as well as, working with their fellow operatives and allies.

August 1st, 2010 - Today marks the opening of the Dulston Alliance Awards. A new competition where all manner of survivor skills will be put to the test. Bounty hunting, zombie slaying, reviving, reclaiming buildings and healing mark the five aspects of this pentathlon. It will take place over the entire month and will judge who is the best at each of these pro-survivor tasks and who is truly the greatest Dulston Alliance operative out there.

July 27th, 2010 - Due to the previous suspension of the Hang 'Em High competition, the departure of Caleb Usher, and a new competition planned for August, it was decided that the HEH would continue from August 2nd until midnight (EST) on August 6th. Those hunters who are still competing may continue to do so until this deadline has been reached. Best of luck.

July 19th, 2010 - Alliance Brass has agreed to a joint tactical operation with the Burchell Arms Regulars. Operation: Hostile Corporate Takeover, as named by the B.A.R., signalled an effort to fight off an attack by the Angry Vaginas against Rolt Heights which has seen B.A.R. members targeted.

July 9th 2010 - The Dulston Alliance took a minute today to honour one of their founding groups, FOXHOUND, who decided to leave the Alliance due to their relocation to Pitneybank. They may be gone from the North-Eastern suburbs, but they are not forgotten. An immediate Alliance Treaty was signed with FOXHOUND leadership, and FOXHOUND Big Boss N00bert had this to say: "I would like to thank everyone but deathwire for your support and companionship throughout the years. I wish all of you luck in your future endeavors." The loss is doubled by the fact that the Rolt Heights Vigilante Patrol has become increasingly less active in the alliance, and as such no longer considers itself a member group. Both the RHVP and FOXHOUND shall be missed. Shalom, lost comrades.

July 8th, 2010 - Members of the Alliance were invited by our close allies, the Burchell Arms Regulars to join in the annual celebration of Biertag. As we here at the Alliance rarely need a reason to celebrate the invitation was warmly accepted and much partying was done. In a change of pace from past years zombies were allowed to attend the event, namely those zombies from the Angry Vaginas. In an uncharacteristic change of pace these now infamous zombie ladies behaved themselves within reason and the party was deemed a success. Many operatives vowed to return again for Biertag '11.

June 21st, 2010 - In light of the recent rise in hostile zombie activity throughout northeast Malton an executive decision has been made to suspend the Hang 'Em High competition until further notice. At this time resources and manpower are now being refocused to deal with the zombie situation head on, as the Alliance believes that should this threat go unchecked it would prove dire.

It should be noted that the Hang 'Em High competition will not be restarted until after Biertag (July 8th), in order to avoid any conflicts with the event managed by the Alliance's close allies, the Burchell Arms Regulars. Obviously a competition involving hunting criminals and an event that forbids murder should never overlap, and the Alliance respects that idea.

June 18th, 2010 - It has now been two weeks since the start of the Hang 'Em High competition and the body count has reached 46 criminals who have been brought to justice. However, bounty hunters have reported seeing little or no sign of prime targets in the Big Coffin Hunters, but intel has it that they have deployed a unique strategy whereby their members have repositioned themselves in suburbs further away from Dulston thereby forcing hunting Alliance operatives and allies to follow them further from our resource base. Some might call this strategy "drawing us out", but the Alliance instead likes to call it "running away". If this is true then we heartily encourage them to keep it up. You can do it BCH! Just keep believing in yourselves.

June 11th, 2010 - The first week of the 2010 Hang 'Em High competition has passed and with a body count of 27 criminals executed this bodes well for the hunt. The Alliance has no doubt that more and more local criminals from across Alliance-affiliated suburbs will get a taste of their own medicine for a change. Please note, for any criminals reading this, simply replace "medicine" with "murder". Sorry if we confused you. No not really, so stop reading our news. To everyone else, and especially the bounty hunters out there, good luck in week two!

June 4th, 2010 - Today marked the opening of the 2010 Hang 'Em High competition. Bounty hunters from within the Alliance, as well as those of allied groups, have joined together for this annual event. Changes of note for this year's competition include: exclusion of scoring for executed criminal zombies and increased scores for executed criminals, especially those who have made it into the upper ranks of the "Top 10 Most Wanted" list. As this year's competition will not overlap with Zombie Hunting Season we expect full attendence from all hunters and even more action than last year.

June 3rd, 2010 - The RCDC, which handles all of the Alliances public news broadcasts, issued the following report: "Not much to say today. Those small, coordinated zombie groups turned out not to be so small. Less organized survivors did not stand much of a chance and were overwhelmed. Members of the RCDC and other allied groups have been pushing back into the ruined area, but there is only so much we can do in the face of a large organized zombie front.

As of right now, most buildings in Rhodenbank and Dulston are lightly defended with only a few zombie squatters holding them. If more survivors were to enter the area the those suburbs might be reclaimed, but the current number of active survivors are at best contesting the area.

Rolt Heights, Pashenton, and Earletown have all escaped the brunt of the zombie incursion. Unfortunately, murderers that usually frequent the Dulston area have moved into those neighborhoods to follow their survivor prey.

The Northeast is on the verge of returning to survivor hands, but requires additional survivor support if we are to finally tip the balance in our favor."

May 18th, 2010 - The RCDC issued the following report: "Rhodenbank has come under attack from several small zombie mobs in the past few days. Groups ranging from 8-15 zombies have attacked and subsequently ruined several resource buildings across the suburb, including the Devonshire Building, St. Mark's Hospital, and the border NTs. While survivors have succeded in reclaiming some of these buildings, the hordes are sill holding several of them with groups of approximately 10 zombies camping inside.

Groups of vandals are roaming the area, destroying radios and generators. While their actions would have little lasting effect on their own, the lack of power compounds the impact of the stronger zombie presence. The rise in zombie activity has also caused several revive points to clog up. As of this report, both Orome Avenue and Duport Avenue, the two most popular revive points, each have 6+ zombies. Survivors seeking faster revives are encouraged to head west to the Upshall Monument or Ames Plaza.

As the old saying goes, no news is good news. Earletown, Rolt Heights, and Pescodside are all relatively quiet, with only the occasional break-in. Thanks to the vigilence of the RHVP and BAR, the suburbs are also without significant serial killer presence."

May 13th, 2010 - The RCDC have issued the following Emergency Press Release for Rhodenbank: "St. Mark's Hospital has been breached. RCDC recon last reported 23 zombies inside among wounded survivors, with several others already dead. Signs indicate this as a coordinated zombie attack by The Dead. All residents in eastern Rhodenbank should be on alert, with building barricades raised to emergency levels until further notice.

For anyone who has recently died, the Orome Avenue revive point currently has 10 standing zombies. As such, revives will likely be faster at the less crowded Upshall Monument revive point."

May 11th, 2010 - Veteran RCDC recon reporter, Red Hawk One had this to say in his latest report: "The Militant Order of Barhah is still down in Gibsonton, but that does not mean the Alliance doesn't still have zombie problems up here. Large zombie mobs, primarily from the Angry Vaginas and the Undeadites, have been making stops around Dulston and Rhodenbank, tearing down barricades and raising hell. Survivors are generally reclaiming the buildings shortly afterwards, in Rhodenbank at least, but the Rhodenbank-Dulston area may not be the best place to pick for your late-spring vacation.

Surprisingly, the horde's activity is extending into west Rhodenbank and parts of Earletown, which are traditionally quiet neighbourhoods. Break-ins in this region are still rare, but larger zombie mobs have led to elevated barricade levels. Oftentimes the ruins left over from a recent attack will be the safest entry point for survivors and Alliance operatives.

A reminder to all the survivors out there: unless your building is currently besieged by 3 or more zombies, try to keep it only Very Strongly (VSB++) barricaded. The extra protection granted from Extremely Heavily barricading will not do much to deter a determined zombie assault, and only really serves to lock out survivors just as much as they do the zombies.

While these zombie mobs present a moderate threat, the real problem has been murderers. Reports have filtered in from across the region of these rogues destroying barricades, smashing generators, and all in all making life difficult for survivors. While on their own these goons serve as little more than an annoyance, but when combined with the roving zombie mobs they become a bit more of an issue.

It is strongly recommended that you report any murders, vandalism, griefing, or other criminal activity to the Alliance's Black List. And always be sure to scan before reviving that 'Mrh?' cow, since you could very well be reviving a known criminal!"

May 6th, 2010 - A new month rolls in and with it another report from trusted RCDC recon reporter, Red Hawk One: "Much like the calm before the storm, the Northeast is relatively tranquil in the face of the impending Militant Order of Barhah attack coming in from the south.

The key word being 'relatively'.

NecroTech scans show 61 zombies in the northeast region; 41 are in Dulston while a mere 20 inhabit Rhodenbank. They are mostly spread out in groups of 3-4 across east Rhodenbank and Dulston, with only a few zombies in west Rhodenbank. A mob of 14 zombies are at St. Anacletus's Hospital in Dulston. Although it is outside of scanning range, scouting reports suggest that northeast Dulston remains under siege. Otherwise, most of Dulston isn't too bad. The mall area was briefly in survivor hands for a few days, but has since returned to its natural undead state.

While the zombie threat is low, the PKer presence is on the rise. Many resource buildings have lost generators and murders are on a steady rise. Concerned citizens are encouraged to replace any destroyed hardware, report criminal sightings via radio or DA forum, or are free to hunt down the criminals themselves. Note that Cinemas, Clubs, and Banks are all popular hangouts for criminals.

In slightly better news, the revive point situation is looking good. Rhodenbank revive points, the Upshall Monument and Orome Avenue, are both clear, while Duport Avenue over in Dulston has seen some slowdown in the face of the gathering horde in northeast Dulston. Scientists stationed on the Rhodenbank-Dulston border are encouraged to take the time to visit this revive point in order to help clear it up; other than that, the northeast is living up to its reputation of quick and easy revives."

April 26th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC issued the following report: "Continuing the seemingly weekly trend, Dulston is now back in survivor hands. The west Dulston NecroTech facilities, most low-profile buildings, and several resource buildings all barricaded, although few of these locations are powered and there are still several large zombie mobs (14 zombies gathered at Treweeke Mall and 8 more zombies at St. Anacletus's Hospital).

Rhodenbank is faring better, with most buildings lit and barricaded. East Rhodenbank has individual zombies spread across the region, while west Rhodenbank is clear, barring the few mobs outside several local resource buildings. However, the Devonshire and Carlyle buildings are under siege with 8 and 6 zombies outside, respectively.

Considering the past few months, next week's report will probably be quite a bit different. For an in-depth look at zombie locations, be sure to check out the Alliance's NecroWatch forum thread or visit the source at NecroWatch."

April 14th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC had this to report: "The recent arrival of the Undeadites horde in northeast Dulston, in addition to the withdrawal of several survivor groups to their home suburbs, has tipped the balance of power in Dulston towards the zombies. All resource buildings in the suburb are either ruined or under heavy siege, with very few lit buildings. In total, approximately a one-third to one-half the suburb is ruined.

In contrast, Rhodenbank and Rolt Heights are both faring very well. The majority of the buildings in these two suburbs are lit and barricaded, with only a few scattered pockets of zombie activity. These hot spots include the Brain Museum in central Rhodenbank and Marcellus General Hospital in the southeast.

The revive points in Rhodenbank are almost empty, with revives coming often after a few short hours wait. The Orome Avenue revive point is west Dulston is not faring so well, burdened with the fallen survivors from Treweeke Mall and the "Fortress of Science". Prospective revivees are encouraged to seek medical attention further west, while revivers are urged in the neighbouring suburbs are urged to help clean up Dulston's revive points."

April 14th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC issued the following report: "After a week of heated combat, Treweeke Mall is back in survivor hands. While it will more likely than not trade hands a few more times in the coming days, survivors have proven that they are more than capable to recapture and hold their ground; the tide is slowly, but surely turning in our favour in this last field.

The rest of Dulston is also faring very well, with most buildings barricaded and many lit. There are still several points of conflict, namely the northern hospitals and Pegrum Place PD, but all in all the suburb seems to have recovered.

To the west, Rhodenbank is in extremely good shape with few zombies located in the suburb.

For an in-depth review of detected zombie locations, be sure to check out the Alliance's NecroWatch forum thread or visit the source at NecroWatch."

April 6th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC had this to report: "Clearly upset to see 'their' mall cleaned up and lit, the Treweeke hordes managed to regroup and overrun the mall yet again. They were even able to push into Pegrum Place PD, but beyond those buildings Dulston remains firmly in survivor hands.

Rhodenbank is once again a green oasis, with the majority of buildings lit and barricaded. The one readily apparent problem is a wave of saboteurs, who have been plaguing the Dulston-Rhodenbank border.

If any survivor spots known criminals DeWolf, He's dead Jim, Lord Thanos, Tony Loop, or rest'in'pieces, please report them to the nearest Alliance bounty hunter and never revive or heal them."

March 29th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC reported: "After about a week of trouble, power has once again shifted back to the survivors. As quickly as they appeared, the large group in east Rhodenbank has vanished, leaving the area both powered and barricaded. Western Rhodenbank is, as always, safe and overbarricaded.

The joint operation into Dulston has proven to be a great success, with Dulston Alliance operatives finishing the push started by the RHVP, Earletown Rangers, and numerous brave locals into Treweeke Mall. For the first time in months, survivors once again hold the mall. Will they keep it? Only time will tell.

The Streltsy appear to have left Rolt Heights, enabling the BAR to help in the push towards Dulston. Meanwhile in Pescodside, several Ranger hideouts have fallen under attack by large zombie groups, but the region still remains under Alliance control.

More so than any other time in the past month, it looks like the Northeast will return to its former glory.

March 22nd, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC had this to report: "The Dulston Alliance's strikes back into Dulston have yielded some success, with several resource buildings in the suburb coming back under control. For the safety of the operatives, I can't name any buildings in particular, but know that progress is being made.

The horde apparently is capitalizing on the sudden shift in Dulston Alliance focus by organizing several strikes in eastern Rhodenbank. Striking in a large horde of 15-20 zombies, they have successfully ruined Gable Walk Fire Station, the border NTs, and St. Mark's Hospital, as well as several other locations. The RCDC and local survivors refuse to give up, however, and maintain a strong presence in several key buildings in the area.

There have also been several skirmishes along the northern Pescodside border, as Dulston Alliance and RHVP operatives pushing north have clashed with zombies pushing south.

The BAR-Streltsy war continues in Rolt Heights, with several casualties on both sides. Although the Streltsy have succeeded in killing BAR members and other Rolt Heights survivors multiple times, said survivors seem more than willing to return the favour. Other than this personal conflict, the suburb is mostly safe."

March 21st, 2010 - Zombie Hunting Season has finally come to a close. While those hunters who came out on top this year were not unexpected, there are new names on the trophies. Kurt Jackson of the Burchell Arms Regulars came out on top winning the "Zombie Slayer" trophy for the second year in a row. However, whether these hunters walked away with trophies or not, the Dulston Alliance would still like to extend a hearty thanks to everyone who participated.

March 19th, 2010 - Four days have passed, and with the Zombie Hunting Season ending on Sunday we see that the current zombie kill tally stands at 159. At this final stage in the competition it appears highly unlikely the next kill milestone will be reached, as many hunters have already determined, based on their scores, that there are few, if any, opportunities to shift in the standings. As in the past, those hunters who came into the competition strong have consistently led strong from start to finish.

One such hunter is the infamous Met Fan of FOXHOUND fame. An Alliance reporter managed to catch up with Met Fan and ask him a few questions about his thoughts on Zombie Hunting Season. "It's a great way for the Alliance to band together in their love for the survivor cause. The contest also provides for a little friendly competition among Alliance groups, which in the end, bands the groups together."

When asked for his opinion as to whether the competition would prove a boon for survivors he replied, "The hunt definitely makes a difference. The hunt boosts morale in the Alliance and that type of enthusiasm can only be contagious when it comes to independent survivors in the northeast seeing what we're doing."

Of course even serious hunts can have their humorous moments. Met Fan opted to share one of them with us, "A member of FOXHOUND and myself had dealt about 75 damage to known criminal, everyone in here, all because someone kept healing him. We got so caught up in serving justice that I completely forgot the competition was called Zombie Hunting Season. I proceeded to report the kill, expecting points, until someone reminded me that collecting bounties on living targets didn't count."

When asked what zombie group Met Fan found to be the most prevalent in the area he responded, "The biggest zombie problem I had was with Yonnua. He just sat inside the mall all undead, ZK'ing the crud out of the zombahs. Hey, if I had decided to ZK I could have had about 300 points by now. Hey Yonnua! <expletives deleted>!"

Indeed.

March 17th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC had this to report: "Troubling recon reports indicate that zombies have made some headway into Rhodenbank , taking the Wallbutton Building, Carlyle Building, and, in a surprise move, Cull Avenue PD. The force behind these recent attacks suggests that counter-insurgency tactics may not be as easy as it has been in the past, but the Alliance has a plan. Hoping to take advantage of the widespread, and thinned, distribution of zombies across Dulston the Alliance is beginning strikes into the heart of the suburb.

In other news, Rolt Heights, and in particular the area around the Burchell Arms which is home to the Burchell Arms Regulars, has come under attack by a group of murderers known as the Streltsy. As the BAR has signed a formal alliance with us efforts by Alliance bounty hunters are currently underway to hunt down these criminals. For now though all operatives are advised to report any Streltsy sightings so they can be dealt with accordingly."

March 15th, 2010 - Zombie Hunting Season completed its second last week and we now move into the final stretch. As of Monday the zombie kill count stands at 153, with the official 150th kill tallied on March 13th, five days ahead of last year's milestone. While unlikely it certainly would be interesting to see whether the next milestone, 200 kills, can be achieved before the competition ends on Sunday.

In related news, Yonnua Koponen of Dead vs Blue was asked a few questions about Zombie Hunting Season, which is something he knows all too well considering his role in overseeing the competition this year. "Zombie Hunting Season is going well. Since the contest began, we've killed over 150 zombies, so we've been making a serious effort to clear up Dulston. I think it's gone brilliantly, and we're really working through the horde. Hopefully I can scoop myself a couple of trophies."

When asked whether he felt the hunt equated to a real impact against the zombie horde in the northeast Yonnua responded, "The hunt definitely makes a difference! Adding a bit of friendly competition helps to motivate major attacks on zombies and helps to clear out the buildings that we would otherwise have left behind. It's really important to keep ourselves motivated and focused on winning back the area."

As to whether zombies aligned to any specific hordes had ended up in his crosshairs more often than others, he responded, "Not that I can think of off-hand. There have been a lot of ferals, but I seem to recall Dead Animal of the Dead Animals being camped in the mall pretty much 24-7. As for the rest, I'm sure we'll find the usual flux of local zombie groups lurking around somewhere."

While Dead vs Blue may not be as active as they once were members like Yonnua are working double-duty to make up for the slack. Proving once again that the Dulston Alliance is always working hard for the survivors of northeast Malton.

March 10th, 2010 - The sky was overcast on this day, the day that the Alliance bid farewell to one of its oldest member groups, the Electric Light Torchestra. The ELT were well known among members of the Alliance for their steadfast dedication in keeping Dulston powered. In many ways it was a thankless job that didn't earn them the experience many other operatives acheived through hunting zombies or criminals, and yet it was vital to the well-being of the suburb. At their height of their activity the ELT managed what many people thought was impossible, they powered the entire suburb of Dulston. In it's own special way it was a glorious day. A day unlike today, when we bid the ELT their final farewell.

March 9th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC had this to report: "The situation on the Rhodenbank-Dulston border has destabilized; zombie break-ins on the border NTs are growing in frequency. Survivors are still able to contain these break-ins, but the border seems to be changing hands almost daily as the conflict rages.

Fortunately, this damage has kept itself almost exclusively limited to the area along the inside border with Dulston and has not spread far beyond. The rest of the Rhodenbank is fairing extremely well with most of the suburb lit, barricaded, and moderately populated.

Dulston, while still predominately ruined, is still seeing determined reconstruction efforts from the Alliance and other local survivors. Several resource buildings across the suburb are reported as 'online'. Initial recon reports suggest Rolt Heights is currently under assault from a several associated murderers. Survivors and operatives alike are reminded, if you witness a murder be sure to report it to the Dulston Alliance's Blacklist so the killer can be brought to justice."

March 8th, 2010 - The good-natured slaughter that is Zombie Hunting Season wrapped up another week of sportsmanship, just as a new week started. The new zombie kill total now stands at 126. With only three more weeks of hunting season remaining the Dulston Alliance wishes all its hunters the best of luck in culling the zombie herd.

In related news, an Alliance reporter managed to meet up with Kurt Jackson, last year's top scorer in Zombie Hunting Season who had returned from retirement to defend his title. When asked about his thoughts on the competition Kurt replied, "I love it! I'm a competitive person, and honestly, without something to DO I lose interest. This is a great way to keep things interesting, and to bring the groups of the Dulston Alliance together for some healthy competition."

When asked whether the competition had a positive impact on local suburbs Kurt was emphatic in his response, "I do indeed! Dulston and Pescodside, at least in the places where I've been active, were pretty run down until the beginning of ZHS, then they started to pick up as people went out on a limb to reclaim buildings and such."

The Dulston Alliance salutes Kurt, as well as our staunch allies, the Burchell Arms Regulars, to whom he belongs. We all look forward to all the good the hunt will do for northeast Malton.

March 5th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC handed in this recon report to his superiors: "A fairly large zombie mob has made a move along the border NTs. Survivors were able to repel the zombies, but the sheer number of attackers means the border will remain contested for some time to come. At the time of this report, both the Carlyle and Wallbutton buildings have had their barricades breached allowing several zombies inside.

Some progress has been made in Dulston however as pockets of survivor activity have begun appearing throughout the suburb.

Pescodside, Rolt Heights, and west Rhodenbank are all relatively quiet in terms of zombie activity, although there have been recent reports of a few zombie break-ins in southern Rolt Heights."

March 1st, 2010 - What can we say? Zombie Hunting Season is rolling along like a well-oiled machine. A machine that haplessly slaughters zombies left, right, and center. As the reports continue to come in from last week we see that now 114 zombies have been bagged and tagged. The next question on everyone's lips is whether we will reach the 150th zombie kill before last year's milestone date of March 18th. Only time, and dead zombies, will tell.

February 24th, 2010 - Just two days after the last reported zombie kill count for Zombie Hunting Season, the total has risen to 101 reported and confirmed zombie kills. What exactly does this mean? Well for starters the kill count has now surpassed the previous count reported back in '09, which only reached it 100th zombie kill on February 26th. This has stirred renewed betting on the strong possibility that this year's hunt may beat last year's total before it's over. Bottom line? More dead zombies are always a good thing.

In related news, an Alliance reporter managed to meet up with Bane Croooow of the RCDC while he was re-barricading the Starr Building in Rhodenbank after a recent zombie break-in. When asked for his thoughts on Zombie Hunting Season he replied, "I am not much of a zombie hunter, preferring instead to barricade and heal survivors. During Zombie Hunting Season I always appreciate resource buildings being cleared out so I can do my work. The best part about ZHS, though, is seeing the friendly competition between so many teams and survivors to win trophies."

February 23rd, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC provided the following declassified recon report: "Many of the buildings along the border have been flip-flopping sides quite a bit as the conflict intensifies. Zombies have ruined the border NTs several times, in some cases even piñata'ing them. Despite this the Alliance and local survivors have presented a strong defence, having repaired and re-powered these vital resource facilities almost (in some cases literally) overnight. With the zombie count growing smaller and the situation becoming more orderly, this tug-of-war will likely continue, but the end may very well be in sight.

If there is a bright side to this heightened zombie activity, it is the lack of over-barricading. While far from an ideal solution, the zombies are making it much easier to find Very Strongly or unbarricaded entry points into the free running lanes."

February 22nd, 2010 - As expected, late reports have finally started to roll in and the zombie kill count for Zombie Hunting Season has jumped to 95 kills. That's a lot of dead zombies. With only 4 weeks left the competition has started to show signs of favoring those veteran hunters who have managed to stay at the head of the pack in each category, whether in clean kills, assists, or reclaiming ruined buildings. The only question now is, exactly how high will the total zombie kill count rise to, and will it surpass last year's total?

February 17th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC filed this report with the Alliance: "Eastern Rhodenbank is experiencing some trouble, with semi-regular zombie break-ins along its border with Dulston. This is likely due to several factors, including but not limited-to-low survivor presence in the area, commendable organizational attack efforts on the part of zombies, and the continued conflict in southwest Dulston.

Outside of the Rhodenbank-Dulston border conditions around the northeast vary. Rolt Heights is nearly zombie free, but many of its buildings are over-barricaded. East Dulston is somewhat deserted, with several untouched piñatas left over from the winter horde that swept through, ruining most of eastern Malton. West Rhodenbank and Earletown are probably the best off with low zombie counts and several accessible entry points."

February 15th, 2010 - As the fifth week ends and the sixth week of Zombie Hunting Season begins the zombie kill count stands at 70 zombies bagged. Many hunters have hit their stride, while at the same time one group in particular, the RCDC have chosen to tackle a trophy that during the previous year did not reach much acclaim. We are of course referring to the "Liberator" trophy which honors those hunters who repair and barricade locations throughout Alliance territory. This trophy is considered by some to be the pacifist's choice, which often belies its importance and the underlying goals of the hunt. After all, the hunt is here to make the northeast a better place for everyone and you cannot enjoy victory from ruined homes.

February 12th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC had this to report: "There was a zombie break-in at the Starr Building. Five zombies managed to tear down the barricades and break inside, with another three zombies still standing out front. In all likelihood, the zombies will overrun the building, but with the large survivor population it should come back online by the following week.

Whenever a large break-in like this occurs, the best course of action is not to charge in guns-a-blazin'. Rather, you should solicit the help of a few other survivors and charge in guns-a-blazin' with them.

Other than this break-in, and several more around the mall area, the northeast is quiet. If you have friends in other parts of the city, you may want to consider inviting them up for a vacation. The revives are quick, the resources plentiful, and the barricades... well, we could always use a few extra hands to make sure they stay at the appropriate levels."

February 8th, 2010 - Last week was a slow week, with the zombie kill count only rising to 61 reported kills. Of course we all know that ammunition doesn't grow on trees and some hunters were saving up in advance for this competition, and now four weeks later, the spent cartridges and shells are a sure sign that it's time to recoup. However, we also know some hunters do not report on a daily basis and late kill reports from last week may begin to show up at various HQs throughout this week. As always, we here at the Dulston Alliance wish all our hunters the best of luck during Zombie Hunting Season.

February 5th, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC issued this report: "The past few days were relatively uneventful; there was a break-in at Treweeke Mall, but survivors managed to repel the attack before serious damage was done."

February 3rd, 2010 - Red Hawk One of the RCDC had this to report: "The entire northeast is back under survivor control; Treweeke Mall even has a higher-than-normal survivor population. With the northeast secure, two tasks remain: maintaining revive points and maintaining proper barricade levels in accordance with suburb policy. Remember, we want to keep the suburb as survivor-friendly as possible and nothing says "Welcome!" like easily accessable resources."

February 1st, 2010 - The third week of Zombie Hunting Season wraps up and after the smoke cleared we see that hunters have brought up the total zombie body count to 53. An applaudable sum, if we do say so ourselves. Hunters now prepare themselves though for the week ahead. The opportunity for any of the hunters to strike out into the lead in any category is still a very tangible possibility right now, although last season's winners are showing exactly how and why they earned their huntsman trophies from '09.

January 26th, 2010 - It is a proud day for the Dulston Alliance. After months of leave, pending the zombie infestation, the Alliance has once more laid claim to the North-East, and has taken back Treweeke Mall in a strike for Survivorpendence. This joyous occassion also celebrates a new Dulston Alliance member group, the Earletown Rangers.

January 25th, 2010 - Another week may have come to a close, but Zombie Hunting Season it still heating up. The total zombie body count now stands at 37 bagged and tagged. And that doesn't even include the estimated dozen or so other zombie kills which are unaccounted for due to lack of evidence (this is a competition after all, so all hunters are required to provide evidence in order to be awarded points). The Dulston Alliance hopes that this will serve as a notice to all of the zombies in the North-East: The Dulston Alliance means business.

January 18th, 2010 - Zombie Hunting Season has moved into its second week with 17 zombies already bagged by eager hunters during the previous week in locations throughout Alliance territories. An admirable start that still gives a chance to hunters who have not yet joined in to participate in the hunt. As a reminder all survivors in Dulston Alliance member groups and our allies are welcome and encouraged to join the fun. Furthermore, those hunters who excel in the competition's main events may even walk away with one or more trophies proving just how skilled they are at the hunt.

January 11th, 2010 - In today's news, 2010 marks the opening of Zombie Hunting Season. For those hunters who attended Zombie Hunting Season '09, the competition will be running until March 21st. This should give both veteran and newcomers the chance to score points in all categories of the hunt. This year's zombies are full of spit 'n vinegar, and should prove to be interesting targets for skilled hunters of all ages. So load your shotguns, put on your hunting cap and bring your A-game because it's time to bag some zombies!

January 6th, 2010 - It's the start of the new year, and the Dulston Alliance has plans to make this one a year for survivors. Operatives across the NE Corner are working to gradually liberate the area from zombie control. Along with the Dunningwood Warriors, Earletown Rangers, and an assortment of other groups, the North-East is gradually recovering from the zombie plague. Work in Paynerton, Chancelwood, Pescodside and Rolt Heights is slowly turning the tide of the battle. A Merry Christmas from the Dulston Alliance, and a very happy new year.

2009

December 16th, 2009 - The Dulston Alliance has no news to report today. Only a message. As Officer Murphy said: "I saw our future last night. I have hope...a lot of it."

October 29th, 2009 - The Dulston Alliance proclaims a glorious victory today after the suburb of Dulston has been nearly completely restored. Not only that, but the Legends of Darkness have left the suburb, heading off on other escapades. The Dulston Alliance took this chance to oust any remaining members of the Legends from the area, in the hope that this is the beginning of a newer, brighter Dulston.

October 4th, 2009 - The Dulston Alliance, due to the recent insurgences in PKers and GKers around the Dulston-Rhodenbank Border, have begun a campaign throughout the areas nightclubs, and the notable Townsend Bank. However, due to the return to Dulston of the Legends of Darkness, there has been a minor stumble in the efforts. In response to this, Lord Deathwire of the D.I.T.P.S has declared open war on the Legends of Darkness, and the other PKers in the NE Corner.

September 12th, 2009 - Despite continued efforts by the Dulston alliance to fight off the zombie menace, the mall has once again fallen in the continuous tug of war over dulston. The RCDC have pulled back to neighbouring suburb Rhodenbank to protect their home turf against the imminent arrival of the MOB. The rest of the Dulston Alliance is waiting in Dulston to act as a secondary defence, should the primary wall fall.

August 31st, 2009 - As Summer ends and with it more Dulston alliance members return to the game, Treweeke and the surrounding area are retaken by survivors. In other news, The Dulston Alliance Award contest comes to an end today, after months of hard work by Dulston Alliance operatives in retaking the suburb.

May 15th, 2009 - The departure of noted NecroTech scientist Caleb Usher last month could not have been felt more than on this particular day, his birthday. For those among the Alliance who have taken note of the marked decrease in publicized Alliance news posts, this fact is directly related to the departure of our most cherished citizen and beloved son of Dulston. The Alliance wishes Caleb all the best on this special day. For everyone else, be certain to stay in contact with the Alliance via our forums.

April 20th, 2009 - There has been a spot of zombie trouble in Dulston over the past three weeks. The troubles started in Rolt Heights and appears to be attributed to notorious troublemakers the Ridleybank Resistance Front. We have no idea what they're doing in Dulston, a suburb that can be best described as "not Ridleybank".

April 13th, 2009 - Alliance recon reported that the Ridleybank Resistance Front, very lost and in need of directions (because Ridleybank is 4 suburbs roughly southeast of here), invaded Pescodside. We use the term invaded, but they actually just walked into the suburb. I blame our lack of desperate walls surrounding our beloved suburbs. But one day... one day...

April 7th, 2009 - While no significant zombie numbers have been detected yet in Pescodside, there is little doubt that the suburb will be targeted by the Ridleybank Resistance Front who, recon has reported, assaulted Rolt Heights recently. While an influx of imported zombies is generally viewed as bad economics, shooting them is fun... so it all balances out in the end. Then again, I majored in Art History, so who really knows?

April 1st, 2009 - It was a glorious day for the Alliance as victory was declared. Yes, you heard it here first, the Dulston Alliance has won. Without a doubt the most awesome of victories is ours at last. The Alliance leadership would like to take a moment to thank all our allies, who won by proxy of association, and pat the crying heads of all the zombies and criminals out there who must drink deeply from the well of shame. In all honesty, you all knew it would end this way, so why did you oppose us? Now without further ado let it be declared that April 1st will forever be remembered as the Day of Awesome Victory Over Everything and Everyone Who Opposed the Alliance. A shorter name may be decided on later. This is not a joke. Honest.

March 28th, 2009 - The Knights Templar of Kempsterbank and the Dulston Alliance have re-established open communications with one another, as well as, formally opening diplomatic relations by signing of a Non-Aggression Pact. From this day forward the agreement reached here will stand as a testament to the good will shared by our groups and allow for future coordinated efforts against the zombie menace. While the Knights Templar are not within close proximity their diplomat has indicated that the knights would travel the northeast sooner or later, and when they do there will be much zombie slaying. Old school.

March 21st, 2009 - When the clock struck midnight the Zombie Hunting Season competition came to a close. By the competitions end 164 zombies had been bagged and tagged in the name of the hunt. True to the competitions goals, the fatter and slower zombies in the northeast were thinned out, leaving only the hardier examples of their breed still standing (after being shot and killed repeatedly of course). The greatest of the zombie hunters who participated in the competition walked away with one or more trophies for their efforts. These trophies will remain in their stewardship until such time as a new hunting season begins. When will that be? Who can say... but until then the Alliance salutes those brave hunters, from among its own operatives and those of our allies, who joined together for some good ol' fashioned hunting.

March 17th, 2009 - The Dulston Alliance and Melancholy One, co-leader of the PKer Kers, formally signed an alliance today, cementing future plans to work together to defend northeast Malton. The Alliance, always looking for new allies to assist in hunting down local fugitives in hiding, viewed today's signing as strictly ceremonial since the PKer Kers had already been working with the Alliance for the past two months.

March 13th, 2009 - With another week ended the operatives and allies of the Alliance reviewed their progress in Zombie Hunting Season. The current official tally stands at 139 zombies hunted. Alliance sources have confirmed however that this tally no longer accurately reflects the local zombie kills, but rather reports of zombie kills have slowed down. The main reasons being that the competition will end on March 21st and with two frontrunners, who already possess a staggering lead on their fellow hunters, the remaining hunters have already come to the foregone conclusion that these mammoth zombie hunters cannot be opposed so late in the game. Regardless, the question has now turned to which of these two hunters will prove to be the best of the best? And by "best" we mean "best at cutting off a zombie's head, emptying out the gunk, and turning it into a decorative vase or something else just as fanciful". Ah zombies, they really do have a million and one uses.

March 8th, 2009 - As the struggle to increase zombie exports over zombie imports continues to wreak havoc on Dulston's once robust economy, one comprised primarily of hunting criminals who may or may not have committed tax evasion, support efforts continue to snowball. Most recently the Alliance leadership council agreed to support an unsigned alliance with the Malton Police Department. While the MPD were interested in a formal alliance some members of the council felt that the events of the Malton Uprising were still too fresh. However, the MPD's offer was tactfully wordsmithed and the current situation called for compromise in light of their generous offer.

Meanwhile, The Abandoned contacted the Alliance to confirm that their forces had marched from Yagoton and were already in the area kicking zombie ass. The Abandoned revealed that they were returning the favor paid to them when the Alliance offered them secure shelter in its suburbs back when Yagoton was under heavy zombie siege. They intend to show the zombies of Dulston what battle-hardened survivors can do when put to the challenge. The Dulston Alliance almost pities the zombies. And then we remembered they were zombies after all, so we laughed instead. Good times.

March 6th, 2009 - Zombie Hunting Season was the word on everyone's lips as Alliance operatives continued to vie for dominance in the hunting competition that had seen local zombie causalities rise to record levels. Of course with so many targets to choose from there's always something to kill. Gone are the days of having to walk to another suburb for the thrill of the hunt. As of today the official body count placed the tally at 125 zombies so far bagged and stuffed for viewing at your local museum. Or they would be, if not for the fact that they keep walking off the display stands just a few hours later. For now the kids will just have learn all about zombies the old fashion way, by hunting them. So grab your hunting shotgun and get out there! Remember: Hunting is more than a sport, it's also about survival! Remember our motto: Fight! Win! Prevail!

February 27th, 2009 - Yet another week comes to a close, but this Friday was made special for two very good reasons. The first reason was that it marked the second-last day the Hang 'Em High competition. That's right, after a month and a half the northeast bounty hunter's competition was finally coming to a close. As of today the execution tally stood at 136 criminals having been brought to justice. On the zombie front, Zombie Hunting Season has racked up an impressive 96 zombies slain to date. As the number of zombie targets wandering Dulston increases and the bounty hunter competition wraps-up, the Alliance is certain this total will reach new heights in the coming weeks. After all, it's still Zombie Hunting Season up here in the northeast, so every local hunter is encouraged to head on up and bag themselves a few prize-winning zombie heads, perfect for mounting above the fireplace.

The other reason why today was special is because it marked the 3rd Anniversary of the Dulston Alliance. The Burchell Arms in Rolt Heights was packed with Alliance operatives and allies alike as everyone took a day off from hunting to drink a few beers and celebrate our awesomeness. To put it simply, the party was a smashing success and fun was had by all! So here's to another year of good fortune and good friends. As for everyone who couldn't make it, no worries, the Alliance see you there next year. Cheers!

February 26th, 2009 - The Dulston Alliance is throwing a celebration! No, the zombies still happen to be mucking around Dulston for some ungodly reason, but a review of the Alliance social calendar has revealed that this coming Friday is a very special day indeed. All survivors are therefore cordially invited to a great party (with free booze, mind you) at the Burchell Arms in Rolt Heights on the 27th of February. This day officially marks the 3rd Anniversary of the Dulston Alliance. Yes, the Dulston Alliance will have served the people of Northeast Malton for three whole years, with many more years of justice and zombie suppression in our future. Even if you cannot join us on this momentous day be sure to raise up a glass and celebrate wherever you happen to be. All of Malton's law-abiding survivors are welcome to join us. See you there!

This event is sponsored by N00dles. Have you had your n00dles today? Remember: If you only get a chance to read one Urban Dead webcomic... ever... then yes, you should read this one.

February 20th, 2009 - The sixth week of the Hang 'Em High competition wrapped up, both Alliance and freelance bounty hunters admitted that last week's slump was officially over. By the end of the day the execution tally stood at 115 criminals having been served a heaping-helping of justice since the competition started. Word has it that the end of February, or this coming week, will be the final week of the hunt. With the clock ticking down no doubt efforts are being made to unseat the current lead bounty hunter and claim the honor of being the best bounty hunter in the northeast. Or at least as far as the Alliance is concerned.

Meanwhile, Zombie Hunting Season did not suffer for all the attention criminals received this week. Rather it turned out to be a bloodbath as zombie hunters dealt massive kills, primarily to zombies wandering Rhodenbank and Dulston. By the week's end the scoreboard showed that 74 zombies had been killed since the start of hunting season. How will hunters fair in the following week? However, as we are talking about the Alliance and our allies we can only assume complete a total awesomeness.

February 17th, 2009 - The Dulston Alliance announced signing a Support Accord with the relatively new mobile survivor group, the Malton Guerilla Legion. The hope is that together this alliance will lead to a new era of peace in a northeast that has known so much turmoil at the hands of the zombie menace who continue to despoil the once mighty suburb of Dulston. But even in these dark times the Alliance marches forward to a brighter future, with our motto: Fight. Win. Prevail.

February 13th, 2009 - Happy Friday the 13th! Like clockwork another week ends. However the fifth week of the Hang 'Em High competition has not yielded quite as many executions as predicted, mostly due to the lower criminal turnout by this point in the competition, as well as an increase in interest for Zombie Hunting Season. At this time a grand total of 95 criminals have been been tried, convicted, and senetenced to death by the Alliance and allies bounty hunters. On the zombie front the number of walking corpses who have landed up with their heads mounted on the trophy room wall has climbed to 43 as of today, but with a new offensive already in motion no doubt even more zombie kills will be racked-up in the near future.

February 6th, 2009 - The fourth week of the Hang 'Em High competition has ended with the execution tally standing at 86 criminals having been hung out to dry with rope neckties, all in the name of justice. Odds are already high that the competition will break 100 kills by the end of next week. The only unfortunate news is that these days there are no high-profile criminal groups in the area, leaving fewer targets to hunt. As such, Alliance operatives have been left tracking local non-aligned criminals... and members of The End. In truth, the Alliance knows its basically scrapping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to hunting The End, but given the lack of better targets the choice is clear. At least The End members are criminals... after a fashion... once you look past their general lack of proper hygiene, general ineptitude, and lack of classiness. For now operatives will continue to hunt them into extinction, or until they run away again. Whichever comes first.

In other news, Zombie Hunting Season has tallied 27 zombies hunted and bagged so far, in addition to the re-secured safehouses hunters have restored. Efforts continue to bag trophy-worthy zombies for the hunting lodge. The hunt has had a slow start, but with the inclusion of the Burchell Arms Regulars, has finally started to pick-up steam. Also, several Alliance newcomers to the zombie hunting scene have shown a remarkable aptitude for the hunt. The Alliance congratulates these new hunters and wishes them well in the following weeks.

January 30th, 2009 - Yet another week of pew-pew, bang-bang as the Hang 'Em High competition ended its third week. The current execution tally stood at 63 criminals having been brought to justice so far. On the topic of bringing criminals to justice recon reported that the Legends of Darkness were no longer in the northeast, having instead slipped off to Spracklingbank. The Alliance can neither confirm nor deny the rumors we have been spreading about them running off like frightened little girls. However, in the grand tradition of the Alliance it has been decided that they will henceforth be referred to as the "Legends of Dorkness". Why? Because it amuses us.

In other news, Zombie Hunting Season began to shows signs of life this week as competing hunters bagged various game throughout Dulston. When asked for their opinion of the hunt so far, most of the hunters agreed their prey were both slow and not much of a challenge as of yet. Even so, the Alliance is betting that the next week will show increased zombie activity that should show some impressive kills.

January 23rd, 2009 - As the Hang 'Em High competition wrapped-up its second week the collective death toll stood at 42 criminals having been brought to justice at the end of a noose. A majority of the bounties were collected on Legends of Darkness members, with more than half their group roster executed in the past two weeks. On the other hand, Zombie Hunting Season has gotten off to a slow start as it would appear that there is still greater interest in hunting bounties than there is in hunting zombies at this time. Even so, zombie season is open for a good long while so the Alliance has high hopes that some "big game" zombies will be bagged in the coming weeks.

January 21st, 2009 - Today was declared as the official first day of Zombie Hunting Season in Rhodenbank, Dulston, Rolt Heights, and Pescodside. Survivors in the area, both those from among the ranks of the Alliance and those from allies, began gearing up for the great hunt. Zombies, in their natural habitat of Malton had grown fat and lazy... oh, and stupid. Can't forget that. Anyway, the Alliance decreed that it was up to all survivors to help save them from themselves by "thinning their herd". Zombie hunters will be competing for various trophies and titles in the following weeks. The fact that bounty hunters are still focused on their own hunt, in the Hang 'Em High competition, will allow non-bounty hunters a chance to rise to the top of the scoreboard.

January 17th, 2009 - In the midst of opening diplomatic talks with the South Paynterton Aces and neutral conferencing between the warring Umbrella Corporation and the Umbrella Biohazard Containment Service (U.B.C.S.) forces, it was revealed that Whitlock Initiative for Zombie Archetype Revivification and Deliverance (W.I.Z.A.R.D.) had recently disbanded. While the group's leader, rest'in'pieces, had made this fateful decision earlier this month former members were granted continued access to Alliance resources while they decided whether to head off their separate ways or join another Alliance group. In the end it is estimated that half of the W.I.Z.A.R.D. forces opted to rejoin the Alliance. So while a member group was lost to us, in return several Alliance groups were strengthened by the former veteran W.I.Z.A.R.D. members who had joined their ranks.

January 16th, 2009 - As the Hang 'Em High competition ended its first week the death toll stood at over a dozen criminals executed in the name of justice. True to the inscription on the trophy: "Less law, more justice", the bounty hunters had gunned down some of the worst cutthroats the northeast had to offer and the only reports being filed were those used to record the bounty score placed on each criminal's head as part of the competition. In the meantime, Alliance recon continued to scour the area searching for hidden pockets of criminals and reporting them to the competition's scorekeeper, none other than noted NecroTech scientist Caleb Usher. While zombies have managed to cause minor disruptions by snatching some of the reported bounties before they could be collected everyone is eager to see how the event will progress moving into its second week.

In other news, Alliance recon reported that the Browncoats were no longer in Alliance territory. Whether these criminals had departed due to the Hang 'Em High competition or for others reasons, who can say? Officially we would rather not speculate. Unofficially we all believe they fled because they had quote-unquote "felt the thunder" of the Alliance's merciless bounty hunters and couldn't take being hunted down like dogs. What? That's a perfectly valid scenario. Also, the fact that the Burchell Arms Regulars would not agree to a cease-fire with them may have also hampered Browncoat plans for the area. It's just like the old adage, "Trapped between a rock and a hard place".

January 10th, 2009 - Well Treweeke Mall has had a turn for the worse. Zombies, with nothing better to do I might add, have overrun the mall. The Dulston Alliance continues to monitor the situation, but Alliance operatives continue to work towards defending the surrounding resource buildings, such as the mighty "Fortress of Science". The zombies though lack the numbers required to hold more than a handful of locations so the Alliance predicts it won't be long before the mall is reclaimed.

January 9th, 2009 - Without much fanfare or parades, the start of the Hang 'Em High competition was initiated today. Bounty hunters, both those with the Dulston Alliance and those from among her allies, joined together to compete for the coveted trophies and title of "Northeast Marshal". Criminals were the targets of the new competition, and as luck would have it, members of the Legends of Darkness and Browncoats were spotted in the area by Alliance recon. With this new influx of criminals and the usual suspects, who had recently been comprised into a "Top 10 Most Wanted" list, there would be more than enough bounties to collect in the race to see who was the northeast's top gunslinger.

January 4th, 2009 - Things are certainly on the mend, where only a month ago Dulston was in ruins the suburb has made a miraculous recovery, in no small part thanks to the Dulston Alliance's efforts to send the zombie packing. Signs of lonesome zombies guarding ruined building is at an all-time low and power is returning to more than just resource buildings. If not for the zombie mobs straddling the Dulston and Pescodside border it would certainly be a "Green" suburb.

January 1st, 2009 - It's a new year and things are looking brighter for northeast Malton. Recon reports indicate that zombie activity in Rolt Heights and Pescodside are dropping, while the Dulston Alliance works to restore peace and order to Dulston. It's time to work twice as hard to drive out the zombie menace once and for all. Well, maybe not forever, but we'll certainly give them "what for".

2008

December 25th, 2008 - The Dulston Alliance would like to take a moment to wish every law-abiding survivor in northeast Malton a Merry Christmas. While fighting against the zombies in the continues the Alliance still hopes that everyone was able to enjoy the festive season by decorating their safe houses with Christmas lights and trees. So be sure to check under those trees for gifts from Santa Claus... like extra shotgun ammo. As an FYI, zombies all get coal. Just in case you were wondering.

December 16th, 2008 - The Battle of the Border concluded when the Dulston Alliance finally reported, with much fanfare, that the last of the zombies plaguing Treweeke Mall had been terminated and cleared out. With the mall recaptured and much of the suburb on the mend efforts were now being made to publicly attract as many mall rats as possible back to their beloved mall. And by "mall rats" we of course mean "mall defenders". May they grow plentiful in number until the mall is bursting at the seams like back in the old days. Of course the threat of zombie oppression is ever present, seething over the next horizons as they watch survivors, hating us for what we have and what they covet the most. Brains.

December 15th, 2008 - Though it was known to few outside the Alliance, for the past two weeks a massive joint operation between members from every Alliance groups had fought in unison in one major tactical operation (which I have arbitrarily named), The Battle of the Border, a conflict that had spanned several tactical locations between Rhodenbank and Dulston. On Monday, December 8th at 04:34 PM, in the midst the conflict Officer Murphy of Dead vs Blue spoke to the assembled Alliance forces, "There's something I wanted to say. In almost 3 years of playing I've NEVER seen so many groups come together to hold of an area like we have. I was at Blackmore, and yes, there were a lot more people/groups and a lot more zombies, but you don't need as much communication when it's just one building. We are surrounded by 'burbs which are disaster zones and are maintaining multiple buildings as well as reviving fallen allies with what little man power and resources we have. Maybe it's just because it's the Dulston Alliance doing this...but it's f**king awesome. So I want to thank the groups I've seen which include my buds in DvB, RCDC, FotFL, Metal Fox, FOXHOUND, D.I.T.P.S, ELT, Rolt Heights Vigilante Patrol. Seriously, regardless of the outcome, this is the Dulston Alliance's finest hour."

December 6th, 2008 - The Alliance continues to fight on two fronts, and if history has proven anything, this will no doubt lead to interesting results as the Alliance seeks yet again to beat the odds and secure a lasting victory against the undead scourge. At this time we have operatives on the NE Crusade, as well as a large mobile group geared towards another operation elsewhere. While events appear to be taking a turn for the better these days it doesn't take but for a single stroke of bad luck to turn them back. It is for this reason that the Alliance continues to seek out any survivors willing and able to work together with us to help retake our city. The more we all work together the stronger we become. No more running.

November 28th, 2008 - The Alliance continues to fight the good fight. Operatives from each of the Alliance's member groups are working towards liberating and holding several key buildings throughout each suburb. During these operations Alliance members are reminded to maintain contact in order to coordinate the restoration effort. Recent reports have indicated that operatives who traversed outside Alliance territories to secure much-needed supplies from safer suburbs are now returning to bolster our efforts to evict the zombie menace. No doubt it is only a matter of time.

November 18th, 2008 - Miss Elainious, a diplomat from The Fortress, met with representatives from the Alliance today to discuss the strategic situation in northeast Malton. The Fortress has extended an offer to send volunteers from its ranks to assist with restoring order in the northeast. The Alliance has graciously accepted their ally's offer and we are currently weighing the tactical significance of various locations throughout our suburbs as potential reclamation targets.

November 15th, 2008 - It is with heavy hearts that the Alliance reported the fall of Anne General Hospital. Despite the combined efforts of Deathwire and the D.I.T.P.S the zombies breached the building's defences and killed everyone inside. When asked to comment on the recent ruination of his beloved hospital and his subsequent death, Deathwire had this to say, "<BLEEP> everyone". Ummm... not sure the Alliance concurs with that sentiment, so to help rephrase it we look to Khan Noonien Singh who said it best with his famous last words, "From hell's heart, I stab at thee. For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee". Unlike Khan however the Alliance will recover from this loss.

November 14th, 2008 - Alliance recon has reported zombie mobs have begun to spread throughout Dulston. Of particular note there were 14 zombies outside Anne General Hospital. No doubt the zombies have caught wind of Deathwire's awe-inspiring art collection and have launched an attack against the very heart of the D.I.T.P.S cultural revolution.

November 11th, 2008 - Zombies have invaded Pescodside. As was expected the Militant Order of Barhah are slowly moving northwards in the campaign of ho-hum terror. I mean, seriously, who hasn't been eaten by a zombie here in Malton? They should have tried a new tactic. For example, what if the horde just tore down each building's barricades and occupied every building, but didn't attack anyone for days on end. They could just stare at survivors. Now that would be a new and fresh idea. As it is, survivors can expect more zombie attacks in the days to come.

November 7th, 2008 - After several days of fighting Treweeke Mall has fallen again. This seems to be a real see-saw affair these days with the mall being lost and reclaimed on a weekly basis. No doubt in a week or so the mall will be retaken and we'll post another news item about it and so on. But why waste all the Alliance news posts on the mall? I know I would rather talk about something else, like pie for example. Delicious, delicious pie. Mmmm. Every loyal member of the Alliance loves pie. If you don't, then you're a bloody traitor. How do you like them apples? Apple pie. Mmmm.

In other news, Alliance operatives are reminded that the Militant Order of Barhah are currently active in Dunningwood. Scouts from the Imperium of Man are currently monitoring their progress.

November 3rd, 2008 - As Alliance operatives and other allies worked to mop-up the last remnants of the zombies that had assaulted Treweeke Mall, the leaders and diplomats of the Alliance, the Imperium of Man, SNAKEHOUND, and the Burchell Arms Regulars met within its walls in order to continue discussions on whether they would form a unified Black List for northeast Malton. Should these talks conclude in agreeance then all parties would utilize this new Black List to coordinate all future hunts against mutually identified criminals who pose threats to the associated survivor groups.

October 31st, 2008 - It is said that during Halloween night a lone blimp flew across the darkened skies over Dulston. Unconfirmed sightings indicated that the small blimp was piloted by none other than noted NecroTech scientist Caleb Usher. The scientist, having departed Malton many months ago, was reported to have rained an assortment of candies from the blimp down upon any unsuspecting survivors or zombies who happened to be outside at the time. The blimp circled the "Fortress of Science" three times (or 'thrice' as it were) before sailing up into the clouds. One survivor even claimed to have a blurry photo of the blimp silhouetted against the moon. The Alliance's official stance on these so-called sightings has continued to be: "No comment".

October 30th, 2008 - It would appear the holiday spirit has imbued the undead with the overwhelming urge to shop as, one day before Halloween, the zombies managed to overrun Treweeke Mall. The Alliance has advised its operatives and other survivors to focus on the defence of other local NecroTech facilities, hospitals, and police stations, as the mall will be reclaimed in short order, when the time is right.

October 25th, 2008 - The large mob of 30+ zombies that had sieged the Clewett Building for the past week finally ended their futile assault and trudged off in defeat. While the Alliance provided support to the building's defence a majority of the congratulations for this victory belonged to our ally, the Burchell Arms Regulars who had staunchly defended the facility against the horde with unyielding ferocity. The Alliance salutes these brave, if inebriated, warriors.

October 22nd, 2008 - As Alliance tactical operatives had predicted, the zombies' hold over Treweeke Mall weakened to the point where allied forces were able to reclaim the entire mall. Yes, zombie numbers had dwindled to the point where our forces simply walked in, bitch slapped a few zombies, and claimed victory. The Alliance holds to its tactical plan that the mall is only a resource of convenience, and only with zombie forces in decline did it make sense to initiate efforts to reclaim it. Guerrilla tactics and mobility have always been the key to weathering any zombie invasion. Survivors are encouraged to return to the mall to aid in shoring-up its defences.

October 19th, 2008 - The Whitlock Building, aka "The Fortress of Science", has been a hotspot of zombie activity in recent days. With the facility in Alliance hands for the past week zombies continue to hary its proud defends, namely men of science. A breach by zombies on October 16th was swiftly repelled by a joint effort from Alliance operatives, the Imperium of Man, and Snakehound. While the siege will no doubt continue survivors still have high hopes that plans for Taco Tuesday will go on without a hitch.

October 15th, 2008 - A recon report from Deathwire, second in command of the D.I.T.P.S, has revealed that the zombie hold over Treweeke Mall has weakened, due in no small part to guerrilla attacks by Alliance operatives and the renewed interest by the horde in Pescodside, which has served to siphon-off zombie malcontents from the mall. No doubt it is only a matter of time now before the mall is reclaimed for the greater good.

October 6th, 2008 - Fighting continues with small victories being touted across Dulston. One such recent victory involved mixed elements from Dead vs Blue and D.I.T.P.S which managed to successfully retake the Trood Building. Meanwhile a similar strike by FOXHOUND operatives and local survivor resistance led to the recapture of Oake Walk PD from the hands of its zombie oppressors.

In other news, recent reports from Gibsonton have indicated a noted decrease in zombie activity, as recon shows the Undeadites are moving on to the south. With this new turn of events the Imperium of Man has been allowed the opportunity to dispatch its forces to trouble spots in Alliance territory. The Alliance for its part has extended a warm greeting to its faithful ally in the hopes of fostering copious amounts of zombie slaying.

September 29th, 2008 - Lingering zombie mobs in Dulston continue to be vexed by members of the Electric Light Torchestra who continue their campaign of lighting up buildings in Dulston regardless of survivor occupation or purpose. This tactic has led more than one zombie mob to breach a building's defences only to find it completely void of survivors. The E.L.T. maintain that misdirecting and tiring zombie is one of their newest strategies, one which they find fits their role as Dulston's lightbringers quite well.

September 27th, 2008 - Like a game of chess pieces exchange hands and... no wait, that doesn't sound like chess at all. Anywho, Alliance recon reported that a recent counter-insurgency strike against Midelton Crescent PD had successfully led to the station being retaken by Alliance troops. At the same time though the barricades at "The Fortress of Science" were breached and the famous facility fell to a zombie mob. Tactical reports indicate that a weakening zombie presence in northern Dulston may be a contributing factor to increased strikes against southern suburb buildings.

September 22nd, 2008 - Zombies continue to rampage in northern Pescodside as Alliance recon issued reports on their activity. Primary targets, like Clewett NT (especially after the recent fall of the Inman Building) and St. Ninian's Hospital continue to be hotbeds for zombie activity with both locations under constant siege. Local allies, the Burchell Arms Regulars have proven to be staunch allies in the fight to hold these buildings, which fall into the B.A.R.'s defensive territory. Which such capable allies it is believed that any victory by the horde against either of these buildings will be a short-lived one.

In other news, Deathwire, second in command of D.I.T.P.S and Chief of Staff at Anne General Hospital, had this to report:

"Dulston has very few zombies guarding anything. I should know, I'm there. I charged Anne General with a heart full of valor. I got inside and to my surprise one zombie was active. There were three, but only one approached, resulting in a melee duel between me and a perverted female zombie. (Afterwards) I took over a warehouse to send a message out to all the other zombies. That message is: 'F**k you zombies, I'm Deathwire.'"

And there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Deathwire, a man of few words. The Alliance salutes Deathwire and all D.I.T.P.S for their continued valiant efforts to keep their hospitals open to the public while fending off perverted zombies. Not that all of them are perverted. Just the ones who grope Deathwire. Which is probably most of them now that we think about it... but it's just better not to. So... in closing, fight on brave soldiers!

September 19th, 2008 - Alliance intelligence reports revealed that a significant number of zombies invading Dulston and Pescodside are aligned with bitter anti-survivor forces from the Ridleybank Resistance Front. This has led to murmurs with the Alliance that our forces should invade Ridleybank in response and then renaming the conquered suburb "Pidleybank" or possibly even "Wigglybank". Even so, saner minds within Alliance High Command reminds its operatives that the Alliance's first priority should always be to its own suburbs which still need to be ridded of the zombie menace. Until such time operatives are asked to focus on the war effort as there will be time enough to revenge assaults against Ridleybank later.

September 11th, 2008 - Cpt Garviel Loken, leader of the Imperium of Man and ally of the Alliance, met with Alliance leadership today to discuss rumors that the zombie unrest in Dulston may in fact be linked to a more sinister purpose. Cpt Loken brought word that the zombie horde invading Dulston may in fact attempt to permanently inhabit northeast Malton, a quadrant of Malton well-known for being uncommonly, well uncommon for Malton, survivor-friendly. One of the primary sources for this report was notable Maltonite WanYao who had indicated that zombies might attempt to establish a permanent foothold in Dulston or a nearby suburb. Of course this report was met with skepticism, not in respect to a prolonged zombie occupation, but rather to the belief that any zombie group might actually attempt to maintain a permanent hold on the northeast. History had already shown that whenever a zombie group attempted to control the northeast it only led them to eventually dwindle into obscurity. The reason? Dulston is very boring and its citizens embrace that fact.

September 8th, 2008 - The Alliance has rallied its forces, both members and allies alike, in the face of the zombie horde terrorizing Dulston over the past week. While local NecroTech facilities have fallen the Alliance has secured revive syringes from outlying suburb facilities in nearby Rhodenbank and Pescodside. The fall of Treweeke Mall, while always a downer, was hardly unexpected and already factored into the Alliance battle strategy as events continue to unfold. Recon units have reported early signs that the horde may attempt to march into northern Pescodside next.

August 22nd, 2008 - Zombies overrun the northeast corner... again! Alliance troops have begun reclamation operations, but due to the subsequent PKer invasion, most of the Alliance reserves are either tied up elsewhere or... well, dead. FOXHOUND has stepped up to the plate, declaring to defend the Trood Building to the last man. And defend it they did, until it was overrun by the Defective Swarm (among other small hordes) several days ago. However, rumor has it that the famed Special Operations branch of FOXHOUND has been tasked with retaking the building. No doubt it will be back in survivor hands within the week.

August 5th, 2008 - The P.D.A. has departed from the Alliance once again. Conflicts erupted as this group left, and Alliance-PDA relations are shaky at best, with outbursts of violence occurring at the Inman Building. FOXHOUND troops have left the immediate area, and while no action has been taken against the P.D.A. diplomatic discussions have remained at a standstill.

In related news, the Gibsonton Defense Alliance disbanded and ended its membership within the Alliance. It is believed that these actions were directly connected to the recent departure of the P.D.A., as the remaining members of the G.D.A. joined the aforementioned group in Pescodside in an effort to strengthen their numbers. Alliance High Command was non-plused by this recent turn of events as it was clear from the beginning that both groups held a strong bond with one another. Even so these events do not negatively impact survivors in the northeast, or as one Alliance operative put it, "They may have left the Alliance, but it's not like they stopped fighting zombies here."

July 13th, 2008 - Victory! Operation: Try Retaking Inman One Last Time was a full-fledged success! A bold frontal assault by Alliance troops resulted in complete decimation of the zombie forces holding the facility. However, it wasn't until B.A.R. reinforcements arrived that victory was assured. Alliance High Command has declared today "Super Awesome Day" and plans to hold thousands of costly parades around Pescodside to celebrate.

In other news, the filthy zergers, commonly referred to as "SARG", have returned. The Alliance wants it to be made clear that absolutely no zerging will be tolerated within Alliance territory. Alliance High Command has issued warrants for the arrest and execution of all SARG members operating in and around the northeast corner. Civilians are urged to report any SARG sightings to the Alliance immediately.

July 10th, 2008 - Those Alliance member groups with vested interest in Pescodside are gearing up for Operation: Try Retaking Inman One Last Time, now with tactical support from the Burchell Arms Regulars. Keep the pressure on Inman! It'll be sure to crack one of these days... I mean, very soon!

In other news, murderers run rampant throughout Dulston in some sort of killing spree. Not exactly an original concept by any stretch of the imagination, but we are talking about serial killers here. Radio misinformation is at an all-time high and former pro-survivors seem to be turning to lives of crime. To which we ask, "What's the world coming to?". I mean other than the zombie apocalypse, I mean, we're all used to that already. The Alliance continues to urge the citizens of Dulston to disregard all misinformation about the Black List having an "open criteria". The only crimes the Alliance finds punishable by death are murder and vandalism, and this is reflected with evidence for each crime.

June 2nd, 2008 - Alliance troops have returned home victoriously from Gibsonton, after PKer forces announced their withdrawal. We fought a fine two weeks, with over 60 confirmed kills. Be sure to read more about it in the latest issue of the Dulston Dispatch!

In other news, zombies begin to encroach from the south and west. Teams have been sent out to hold key resource buildings against the hordes, while defenses are being prepared back home. All alliance operatives are asked to talk to their group leaders about where they've been assigned. Best of luck, and always remember, through your dedication the northeast prevails!

May 17th, 2008 - With much fanfare W.I.Z.A.R.D., a survivor group affiliated with the defence of Whitlock, advanced from ally to member group as they formally joined the Alliance. Festivities to celebrate the new member group at "The Fortress of Science" were delayed until the much-touted Taco Tuesday three days later. W.I.Z.A.R.D. professed to maintain the tradition free tacos every Tuesday in the name of noted NecroTech scientist Caleb Usher, who started the weekly lunch event a year prior in May 2007.

May 10th, 2008 - Hunting murderers has always been the backbone of the Alliance due to its history with this particular breed of anti-survivor. As such, it came as no surprise when Alliance membership was extended to Bounty Hunters Unlimited. The small group of veteran bounty hunters promptly accepted our offer, having worked as allies of the Alliance for some time already, and thus began a new era. One with potentially less crime and more punishment.

May 3rd, 2008 - The Dulston Dispatch goes public! Previously it was just handed out in the back alley of the Trood Building, but now that it has gained more writers, the Dispatch is being produced on a weekly basis. Check it out today! (the link is on the bar at the top)

May 2nd, 2008 - Today there was much celebration and drunken debauchery at Alliance HQ, as two veteran groups were welcomed into the alliance: the Gibsonton Defense Alliance and Rolt Heights Vigilante Patrol. A new age is beginning in the northeast, and with the recent attack by the Dead rebuffed by the brave defenders in the Whitlock Building (aka "The Fortress of Science"), we can be sure it won't be a short one.

April 29th, 2008 - The Rolt Heights Vigilante Patrol made a brief appearance at a press conference at Treweeke Mall where the Alliance High Command used this photo-op to introduce the RHVP as the newest member group to join the Alliance. It's believed that this new alliance will further strengthen the defensive hold on tactical points in Rolt Heights, a suburb that has not seen a strong Alliance presence since the golden era of Metal Fox.

In other news, one of the Alliance's old guard member groups, Dante's Guard, was officially confirmed as MIA. With its membership in decline for many months and communications limited to chance encounters in Pescodside, many among the Alliance knew it was only a matter of time before the Alliance High Command issued the notice of the group's retirement for active duty. Even so, the Alliance salutes its brothers-in-arms who once faithfully protected northern Pescodside with their lives. May they be remembered with honor.

April 23rd, 2008 - Zombies... zombies everywhere. Not only does Dulston suffer from infestation problems, but now it also suffers from the lack of great leaders. Mobius (aka, noted NecroTech scientist "Caleb Usher"), figurehead and spokesperson of the Alliance, has stepped down. Although it was expected eventually, it had come at perhaps the worst time. The Alliance wishes Mobius the best of luck in his future endeavors, and hopes that, if he returns, he returns with truckloads of high yield explosives.

In other news, after much deliberation the Alliance has finally upgraded a Non-Aggression pact with The Imperium of Man to a Support Accord. The Alliance hopes that this treaty will further strengthen bonds with our ever supportive allies.

March 31st, 2008 - The tactical situation at Treweeke Mall has been rated as "not so good". But that's okay, it's all part of the secret plan for dealing with the Dead. What plan? The secret one. Alliance operatives are advised to keep abreast of all operations currently underway for the betterment and survival of every non-zombie in Malton.

March 27th, 2008 - It turns out the the truce with Red Rum was in fact too good to be true. Only seven days after declaring a temporary truce with the Alliance, Red Rum broke it by murdering several survivors at the Whitlock Building and Treweeke Mall. Upon learning of this event the Alliance revoked the truce and responded in kind by executing several criminals. Sources indicate the temporary truce was in fact their idea of an April Fools joke, but Red Rum was forced to act early when the Dead threatened to kill them before they could put their plan in motion. As such, popular opinion has it that the joke fell flat, lacking the classic punchline that makes a joke great. In the meantime Alliance operatives are advised to continue hunting all criminals still lingering in the area.

March 19th, 2008 - At this time Friends of the Featherstone Library announced that they will be leaving the Dulston Alliance effective immediately. The group's representative and well-known bounty hunter, Shotgun Ed, had this to say:

"The Friends of the Featherstone Library (FotFL) were one of the first groups to join the Dulston Alliance almost two years ago. During that time we have helped defend the greater Dulston area against three huge zombie mall crawls and numerous well planned and organized PKer events. We have rightfully earned out reputation as relentless PKer hunters in defense of not only our own group but the Dulston Alliance as well as the general population of northeastern Malton.

"The FotFL always heeded the call of any group in the Alliance or group that was allied with the Dulston Alliance. We never have, nor will we ever, back down from a fight.

"We wish the Dulston Alliance groups, new and old, the best of luck and thank them for their service alongside FotFL."

The Alliance wishes the Friends of the Featherstone Library the best of luck in all their new endevors and have no doubts that they will continue to protect Pescodside in the days ahead.

March 17th, 2008 - As truces come, this one is a bit of a whopper. The recent problem with the multitude of zombies which comprise the aptly named horde known as The Dead have pushed the infamous assassin group Red Rum to seek a temporary alliance with our organization. After several days of intense deliberations the final verdict was to sign a temporary truce. Even so, member groups like the Friends of the Featherstone Library are the least comfortable with their current bedfellows as the very notion of working with criminals goes against the grain for many of them. Still, the hope is that this truce will secure the safety of survivors in all four Alliance suburbs and help to provide a unified front against the encroaching zombie hordes. Only time will tell if this arrangement is mutually beneficial in what some view as the livings' "final days of Malton". Of course we're more optimistic about our odds.

March 10th, 2008 - After confirming, and reconfirming, recon reports the Alliance has finally determined that the Flustered Brethren are to be considered for all intensive purposes to be disbanded. Ever since November 26th, when the group's popular leader Flustered Fred departed Malton, the group had begun a gradual descent into obscurity. Possibly drunken obscurity. While the Flubbers were not with the Alliance for long, their "get up and get drunk" attitude will be sorely missed. The Alliance salutes them and wishes them well in Beer Valhalla.

March 5th, 2008 - After weeks of epic struggle against the shambling hordes their hold on Dulston has finally been broken and the suburb has once more become safe. Zombies are no doubt on the run (elsewhere) and life has returned back to normal in the northeastern corner of Malton. In addition, threat assessments for Rhodenbank, Rolt Heights, and Pescodside have indicated decreased zombie activity to the point where some, or all, of these suburbs may be considered safe as well. Of course further recon of each suburb's safehouses is still required before an updated safety analysis can be formally issued. Until then, survivors can count on relative safety and the protection of the Alliance.

March 1st, 2008 - Zerg Hunt I, supported locally by classy freelance bounty hunter Druboo, has the unified support of the Alliance. Operatives who are interested in hunting clones are encouraged to confirm who is on their list, while those who are not interested in hunting, but are interested in helping, should report any known zerger locations so those that are hunting them can deal with them more efficiently.

On that note, the connection between SweetHikari (DITPS) and the dangerous criminal Dirty Rockstar really is a confusingly horrific mess. For the long story hunters are requested to contact Caleb Usher or Druboo for the details prior to any executions. For the short story it is recommended that you only hunt Dirty Rockstar (as regardless of the situation she is still a wanted fugitive on the Black List).

February 27th, 2008 - Today marks the celebration of the 2nd Anniversary of the Dulston Alliance's foundation in Malton. For some it is hard to imagine what life would be like in northeast Malton without our dedicated survivor organization around to help protect local survivors and beat down the unrepentant zombie masses. Sigh. Good times. As the recent struggle against the zombie hordes, mere remnants of the Second Big Bash has taken a positive upswing for survivors locals have the opportunity to join us in celebration. So grab a beer and help us ring in another year of Alliance good will.

February 19th, 2008 - Reconstruction efforts continue in Pescodside with several key resource buildings secured and firmly in survivor hands. Efforts also continue to strengthen Alliance presence in southern Dulston.

In other news, the D.I.T.P.S are fighting hard to hold St. Anacletus's Hospital against the zombie mob beating on their doors. While most the Alliance efforts to reclaim the northeast have concentrated in Pescodside, members of the D.I.T.P.S prefer to stay in the very heart of the conflict and provide much needed assistance to stranded survivors in zombie-infested Dulston. Good on them! The Alliance, as always, wishes them the best of luck in their current endeavor.

February 11th, 2008 - While Operation: Let the Zombies Win might have in essence been considered a theoretical victory, tactically speaking it lacked many of the key "pro-positive" results usually associated with a successful operation. As such, efforts are being made to recapture several key buildings along Dulston's southern border. At this time operatives are advised to revive, regroup, and assist with reclamation operations already underway in Pescodside.

February 4th, 2008 - The hounds of war are barking yet again as the Alliance marches off to do battle again with the Big Bash. Operatives, some of whom were already in Santlerville in wait of the zombie horde, were quick to relay recon reports back to local HQs. The only factor staying full Alliance support up until now were matters of diplomacy, of which a major factor had recently been put to rest as an agreement was reached with our classy ally, the Dribbling Beavers who have pledged mutual support in the coming weeks in return for the swift sword of the Alliance cutting down the zombie rabble besieging their fair suburb.

In other news, plans are underway to reinforce the barricades and manpower at the Whitlock Building, aka "The Fortress of Science", so as to aid in withstanding any zombie force thrown against it. Caleb Usher himself coordinated the effort from his secret facility outside Malton. If the zombies are looking for an easy victory, they certainly won't find it at Whitlock. If they doubt us, we ask them to prove us wrong.

February 3rd, 2008 - Once again the members of Electric Light Torchestra has proven themselves to be assets after this External Military report on 25.96 MHz: "... Dulston looks clear ... suburb's lit up like a Christmas tree ... infrastructure looks intact too ... Treweeke Mall has power ..." (2 hours and 1 minute ago). Without a doubt the ELT are the light of hope for the survivors of Dulston and the Alliance.

February 1st, 2008 - With the collapse of Pitneybank all Alliance operatives from the expeditionary force are being called back. As the next target of the Second Big Bash has been determined steps are now being taken to meet them in full force. Our strategists have weighed the odds, and after the leadership dismissed their negative opinions, it was concluded the Alliance could break the horde if it really wanted it badly enough. The Bash has grown fat and their newly overblown ego is their greatest weakness. The Alliance will exploit that weakness, and being the heroes of this epic tale, we are sure to win.

January 31st, 2008 - An urgent tactical report from the Alliance's Pitneybank expeditionary force revealed that the battle has taken an unfortunate turn for the worse. As Giddings Mall begins its gradual decline at the hands of the unwashed zombie masses known as the Second Big Bash operatives are encouraged to regroup at the Morrish Building where efforts are underway to launch renewed counter-insurgency assaults against the horde. In other news operatives reported that they would occasionally run into and kill members of Defective Swarm. We're glad to know that the Swarm are contributing to a worthy cause, namely getting shot down by our operatives. To that we salute them for a job well done.

January 30th, 2008 - A tactical report from Pitneybank from the Alliance's expeditionary forces have confirmed yet another major breach at Giddings Mall, but this time in the mall's southeast corner. The Alliance would like to remind all operatives to kill as many zombies as possible for the greater good.

January 29th, 2008 - Zombie numbers have continued to decline as the complete lack of organized zombie mobs within Dulston has forced ferals to flee for more accessible hunting grounds.

In other news, the Battle of Pitneybank continues to rage. Members of D.I.T.P.S stationed at Giddings Mall reported a major breach in the northwest corner of the mall. The was the longest recorded breach in the battle so far before survivors were able to push the zombies back out, and as such the Alliance has sent further reinforcements to assist with re-securing the mall.

January 20th, 2008 - Recon reports that all major conflicts within the four suburbs have ended, with only token zombie resistance currently in motion. Of course the Alliance would expect no less what with Defective Swarm off in Pitneybank. As a goodly portion of the Alliance's might has also descended on Pitneybank to assist survivors there many operatives expect that all of the real action will be away from Alliance territory.

January 11th, 2008 - In recent days word that the Big Bash has been stopped dead in its tracks in Pitneybank has drawn increasing attention among Alliance member groups that had, up until now, been preparing to face the horde in the northeast. As this is seen by many as the perfect chance to break the horde before it can proceed further north several Alliance groups have expressed an interest in heading south to join the defenders at the Morrish Building. If success can be met there than efforts will be made to forge alliances with those survivor groups who joined in the battle.

January 1st, 2008 - The Dulston Alliance wishes all of its operatives and allies a happy new year. Conversely it also wishes many deaths to its criminals and enemies, but in a festive way that belies the joy of the season.

2007

December 26th, 2007 - Dulston is still a hotbed of activity as Alliance operatives and zombies duke it out over the holiday season. Resources buildings have both fallen and been reclaimed, with the northeast suffering the highest degree of "ownership trading". Even Whitlock, the mighty Fortress of Science, was overrun only to be reclaimed in recent days. Among Alliance allies it has been reported that the BAR have seen more then their fair share of action in the past 2-3 weeks, and their continued support is appreciated. Efforts continue to quell the zombie insurgency.

December 16th, 2007 - Things have definitely gone downhill. Most all of Dulston is in ruins, the Whitlock Building has fallen, and the MoB and the Swarm are pounding on the doors of Treweeke. All forces outside of Dulston, reconverge- we need the help.

December 7th, 2007 - A day later and reports indicate that Alliance and allied forces at the Clewett Building have held strong in the face of 5 breach attempts by zombies. This fact has no doubt constipated confounded the Militant Order of Barhah zombies, or "MOoBs" as we have come to refer to them. The Alliance of course doesn't expect the zombies to give up anytime soon in their attempt to overrun Clewett NT, so the Alliance expects even more glorious battles. Unless they do, in which case they're nothing more than undead surrender-monkeys.

In other news, Defective Swarm attacked Anne General Hospital, one of the HQs of the DITPS. The breach was rebuffed and the zombies involved dumped back out into the street.

December 5th-6th, 2007 - As of 12:29 AM (GMT) Alliance recon reported that with the combined joint military action of the PDA, FOXHOUND, KMA, Friends of the Featherstone Library, and the BAR a survivor victory was secured at the Clewett Building. At this time the facility was once more in survivor hands and the Militant Order of Barhah horde had been turned back for the time being.

Ottari, of the PDA and NecroWatch, also received information that survivors in Pescodside and from Rolt Heights had also reclaimed St. Ninian's Hospital, turned back a zombie break-in at the Waish Building, and reclaimed Youl Avenue Railway Station from the zombie menace nuisance. From these reports it appeared obvious that the Militant Order of Barhah had over-extended their reach and were being turned back on all fronts.

Update: In an effort not to appear sleeping on the job, the Militant Order of Barhah stood up their, for lack of a better word I'll say "lazy", forces and again threatened the Clewett Building. An Alliance tactical report made at 02:36 AM (GMT) indicated that 11 zombies had breached the building's primary defense perimeter (i.e. a wall of junk) and were inside causing trouble. Zombies, what can you do with them? The battle was intense and action-packed, but a survivor report issued at 12:25 PM (GMT) proved that the MoB had finally got served again when survivors were shown to be still holding the building this morning.

December 3rd, 2007 - The Dulston Alliance and the Northern Regiment stood before photographers at historic Treweeke Mall as they together signed a Non-Aggression Pact, thus furthering plans to bring additional allies into the ongoing struggle against zombies menacing the NE Corner. The Northern Regiment, a newly-minted mobile survivor group, is led by Blanemcc who is known for his bravery as a veteran survivor and as a former member of the Burchell Arms Regulars. An Alliance spokesman had this to say, "We stand united by our mutual goal, which put simply, is the complete annihilation of all zombies in the NE Corner. Only once the zombie menace has been put to task can true peace be restored to these suburbs."

December 2nd, 2007 - The Pescodside Defense Alliance (PDA) launched yet another tactical strike against zombies holding the Clewett Building, with some assistance from local survivors determined to retake the building from the Militant Order of Barhah. The operation began at 8:00 PM EST and ended approximately 15 minutes later. The tactical assets committed to the battle included 14 MoB zombies versus a 12-man PDA strike team. By the time the dust settled there were 8 confirmed zombie casualties and 0 PDA casualties. A final analysis shows that the building is still occupied with 6 zombies inside.

Further recon indicated that St. Ninian's Hospital may require further reinforcements as an estimated 25 MoB members are currently outside the building, well, as corpses, but dangerous corpses. The Burchell Arms Regulars have continued to fight alongside Alliance operatives in their efforts to reclaim Clewett from the clutches, or dare we say "evil" clutches, of the Militant Order. Success will no doubt be an inevitability in the days to come. Then many songs to the awesomeness of the Alliance will no doubt follow.

November 30th, 2007 - The Pescodside Defense Alliance (PDA) have once more rejoined the Dulston Alliance. This was a day for much celebrating as long have some of the Alliance's brothers-in-arms wondered why the PDA departed the Alliance in the first place so many months ago. But now the PDA have returned, their willingness to fight with the Alliance rekindled by several hard-fought battles alongside members of King Murek's Army and the Friends of the Featherstone Library during Operation: Earth is Round. It's said that it was then, covered in the blood and gore of many dead FES members, that Lemonhead7t7 learned the true meaning of Christmas. I ask you, what more could the Alliance ask for? Well... other than a Grisum skull mug, but in all respects that's a given.

November 27th, 2007 - The Defective Swarm have once again been playing hide-and-go-seek in the buildings of northern Dulston. After the fall of Clewett Alley PD, the Beale Building has also fallen. After several days of brave fighting for the greater good in Dulston, zombie numbers have been reduced to a meager handful in both buildings and we stand on the eve of the reclamation of the respective Allied Travelers Organisation and Flustered Brethren HQ's.

November 23rd, 2007 - A rather nasty party of our old Defective Swarm adversaries decided it would be a good idea to attack the Flustered Brethren (FLUB) HQ at Clewett Alley PD in Dulston's north. Unfortunately FLUB, who were engaged in their favorite pastime at the time of the attack, mistook the zombies for hangover victims and tried to help them get out of the cold. For the sake of FLUB and Dulston's beer supply, the citizens of Dulston must unite and help reclaim the building from the whimsical grasp of the soon to be disaffected Swarm.

November 18th, 2007 - As the ink still dried on the treaty today signaled the beginning of stronger mutual support relations between the Alliance and a new mobile survivor group, Evil Never Dies (E.N.D.). Present during this memorable occasion was former Alliance diplomat, Caleb Usher, and the leader of E.N.D., XxCannon FodderxX, who celebrated the Non-Aggression Pact as the first step of many that would lead towards the eventual elimination of zombies in the NE Corner, and perhaps one day, all of Malton.

November 17th, 2007 - The Defective Swarm have continued to rampage runaround Dulston. While there have been losses, such as the fall of the Trood Building, we are glad to point out that the Whitlock Building, aka the "Fortress of Science" stands tall. Its awe-inspiring awesomeness no doubt spreading fear and doubt into the hearts of zombies everywhere for miles around it. There's no doubt at all about that. An attempt earlier today to breach the Whitlock Building's defenses were rebuffed, even with heavy survivor losses. But they all died good deaths and shall swiftly return to shore-up the building's defenses yet again.

In other news, Operation: Earth is Round has continued unabated by those Alliance operatives working in Pescodside. Spearheading the operation was none other than the Alliance's most kick-ass son, Shotgun Ed. Among those Alliance groups who have so far engaged the Flat Earth Society, it was King Murek's Army that most recently taken up the cause. This came about when King Murek himself learned that the FES world-map apparently denied the existence of his beloved Finland. In response he has declared that KMA will not rest until the ignorance of FES has been abolished from the NE Corner.

November 12th, 2007 - At this point the Alliance is not sure which is more surprising, the fact that Defective Swarm actually managed to pull off a coordinated and successful attack, or the fact that their target was the southwest corner of Treweeke Mall, whose barricades they managed to breach. Truly astounding. Just when one was about to dismiss them as a real threat they manage to pull off an interesting assault for once. File photo footage shown here showcases the Alliance's favorite son, Kikashie of the ELT, as he blunted the zombies' charge by killing none other than their leader, Captain Grisum.

At this stage the Alliance was geared for a major conflict, but just when reinforcements were being called in the zombie attack was defeated and the mall's fallen southwest corner re-secured. The Alliance has only one question for Defective Swarm: "Why did all your sizzle suddenly turn into fizzle?". Why indeed.

November 10th, 2007 - It was has been termed "a great day of awesomeness", the Alliance has accepted the Flustered Brethren into its ranks. FLUB, as they like to be known, are situated in northeast Dulston and as such are helping to stabilize the area against zombie threats, as the northeast has notoriously remained one of the few havens inside Dulston where the beleaguered zombie masses stew. Now, with the support of FLUB, that stew will be cooked quite nicely. Flustered Fred announced the following over radio frequency 25.99 MHz:

"--know if I'm on? No? Yes? Well, crap or get off the pot, Forrest. You're the fix-it guy... Huh? I really AM on, Buster? Shoot. No, I mean, uh, cool. (*clears throat*) I am Flustered Fred, the president, founder, Grand Poobah and generally in-charge fella here at Clewett Alley Police Department, the base of operations of the Flustered Brethren. Which, I suppose, also makes me culpable for the recent problems we had with the Coke machine on the second floor, depending upon whom you believe, me or the Coke regional rep. I mean, who heard of a soda machine that didn't take coins? What are we using, the Mark of the Beast or something? Sorry. Um, anyway, uh, where was I? Oh, yeah. (*clears throat*) We have just received news that FLUB, as we sometimes call ourselves, has been accepted into the formidable power bloc known as the Dulston Alliance, a conglomeration of survivors looking to help others during the outbreak here in northeastern Malton. On behalf of this bunch of booze hounds (*snicker*), I mean, er, the Flustered Brethren, I wish to proffer, offer, hand out, and generously give my thanks. We've worked long and hard for the last, uh, while, to show that we're more than a bunch of heavily-armed bar flies."

"While our love continues to grow for martinis and lager thick enough to chew, our desire to provide material assistance and refreshment to the survivor population of Dulston has as well, perhaps moreso, especially with five police departments, a mall, and all those guns being, what, within seven blocks of one another? Yeah, seven. Lots of bullets, and Treweeke still has Guinness in the southeast corner. Life is good. Anyhoo, the Flustered Brethren have been dedicated to tapping kegs and shooting shamblers for a while now. With God's blessing -- and a fresh delivery from Anheuser-Busch -- all should go well."

"I will immediately celebrate the inclusion of my group into this alliance by personally throwing out the first dead body from the next zombie incursion into the Beale Building. Thanks to the Dulston Alliance for their support, and confidence, in our group. We hope to do all of you proud. Thank you for your time and consideration."

"A good, safe day, to all in Dulston, and by extension, Malton, the remainder of the region, nation and world. May we have peace on earth, and may Oktoberfest stretch through the other 11 months. Good-bye! (*pause*) Okay, can I go take a wazzer now? (*laughter*) What? The mic's still on? Turn it off, you imbecile! Yes, now, Buster! Pull the plug, you nimrod, or I'll shoot you right in your fat, chicken-nugget-guzzling a-"

Of course not everything is "sunshine and lollipops" here in Malton, as the Alliance has taken the time to honor its fallen comrades as well. In particular the Alliance commends the membership of the Palytoxin Gang who have recently been confirmed as MIA. While a handful of the group still remain alive and active their group representative, Mr Fosi, has confirmed that they no longer exist as a group. The Alliance bids this noble group farewell and glory in Valhalla... or some other religious afterlife location of their choosing.

November 8th, 2007 - A Non-Aggression Pact was signed today with the Allied Travellers Organisation in order to strengthen ties with the new survivor group which had only recently moved into Dulston. While initially the ATO had requested to join the Alliance as a new member group, the decision was made to wait until the ATO had established themselves within the suburb before granting them full membership. The ATO plans to begin its efforts be re-securing their chosen HQ and fighting against the recent zombie insurgency in northern Dulston.

November 6th, 2007 - Recon reports have shown that there have been several break-ins in northern Dulston. It has also been noted that while some of the zombies are feral, others appear to be associated with Defective Swarm. Operatives are asked that, for the time being, they suspend all other in-progress or staged operations in order to help resolve this situation. Alliance operatives are asked to please bring some Windex. After all, every ailment from psoriasis to poison ivy can be cured with Windex, so why not zombies too?

October 31st, 2007 - The Alliance would like to officially wish all law-abiding NE Corner survivors a "Happy Halloween"! While there is little doubt that this holiday will bring about increased zombie activity in the area, Alliance operatives are reminded to turn this situation into a positive by bagging that extra zombie kill for the Halloween Zombie Bash.

In other news, the Flustered Brethren signed a Non-Aggression Pact with the Dulston Alliance at Treweeke Mall. Flustered Fred was reported to have been in good spirits during the signing as he dedicated his forces to furthering the survivor cause in Dulston in the days to come.

October 25th, 2007 - Once again Defective Swarm have shown a marked lack of zombie tactics when striking against Alliance operatives. We here at the Alliance believe it's high time Defective Swarm abandon this charade and admit that they are in fact no longer a zombie group. As a majority of their high-profile kills are only being accomplished through this underhanded method the writing already appears to be on the wall. If this persists the Alliance intends to draft a formal cease and desist being zombies request and pin it to Captain Grisum the next time he's killed. That or one the many Blazes oddly associated with their group.

October 19th, 2007 - A press release was issued by the Alliance in which the details of a recent vote were revealed. While it was originally planned for the Alliance vote to run for at least a week the overwhelming number of responses which favored the motion, which involved renaming the zombie group "Infected Swarm" to "Defective Swarm", appeared highly unlikely to face any real opposition within the Alliance. By the end a staggering 81.25% voted for the motion to pass. The general sentiment held by voters was that zombies after all had no rights and the suggested new name was deemed humorous enough to sway even the most fickle voter. As such, from this day henceforth the zombie group shall be referred to as Defective Swarm.

In other news, Operation: Earth is Round is proceeding as planned with several targets executed. Operatives interested in secondary objectives are advised that additional targets have made themselves available in connection with a local event scheduled by the target group later this month. While the Alliance has nothing against social gatherings, per say, it does when they involve killers. So as always, good hunting.

October 17th, 2007 - Alliance operatives interested in participating in counter-terrorist activities are requested to contact their group leader or representative and inquire about Operation: Earth is Round. Members are asked to act quickly though, as the early stages of this new operation are already underway. That is all.

October 16th, 2007 - In recent days there has been a flurry of activity at various Alliance safehouses across the NE Corner as a new politically-charged debate is just under way. At stake are the free rights of local zombies. Alliance members have been asked to vote on whether zombies really have a right to name their horde or whether the Alliance, as the de facto "people with brains", should instead arbitrarily rename zombie groups as they see fit. The first test of this new policy will be to decide whether Infected Swarm should officially be recognized henceforth as Defective Swarm.

When asked to comment noted NecroTech scientist Caleb Usher had this to say, "As a former diplomat for the Alliance I believe that the odds favor them mocking the Infected Swarm. A zombie group that relies heavily on radio threats... but then fails miserably to deliver on them deserves the moniker of 'Defective', wouldn't you agree?"

As voting is only in the early stages a final decision is still days away, but Alliance political pundits have already predicted the end result should be humorous.

October 14th, 2007 - With our section of the NE Corner now safe and "green" once more the Alliance has decided that we can all finally kick back and prepare for more festive events like the annual Halloween Zombie Bash on October 31st. Yes, nothing says Halloween quiet like hunting down notorious zombie leaders and beating them within an inch of their unlife. Some might call it mean-spirited, but all survivors consider it just good-natured fun. After all, they're just zombies.

October 5th, 2007 - What was predicted over a week ago has come to pass. The zombie war machine in Dulston has ground to a halt. This cannot be any truer than in the DITPS report that Anne General Hospital has finally gone an entire day without a single breach. ELT have reported a steady increase in powered buildings as now 83% of Dulston is powered (48/58 buildings). On the flip side, recon indicates that zombies have taken to striking weakly-defended buildings instead as it seems they lack the necessary numbers and coordination to siege primary resource targets. If anything, this certainly proves that the DDT is more "dead" than "undead" these days.

September 26th, 2007 - The ELT reported that 75% of Dulston is powered, with survivors listed as both safe and secure. It appears that the "great zombie menace" has passed as local feral zombies and other small-time zombie groups in the area are failing to make any real impact on survivor strongholds.

In other news, the DITPS continued to thwart renewed zombie efforts to overrun Anne General Hospital. How long this will last for has yet to be seen as 30+ zombies were last reported at their location, but for now DITPS members seemed to be enjoying a good laugh at the expense of the zombies outside.

September 21st, 2007 - In a honestly unsurprising turn of events, recent efforts by the RCDC to secure a temporary truce with the Leighton Kru in Rhodenbank turned out to be nothing more than a smoke screen. Also, since there was no longer a serious zombie threat to the suburb neither side saw any reason to continue talks. Bottom line, the RCDC/Leighton Kru war continues, and the Leighton Kru are still douchebags. So, no change really...

September 19th, 2007 - The fight against the zombie incursion into Dulston continues to proceed in our favor as recon reports indicate their numbers have dwindled since the initial suburb-wide invasion that culminated in the fall of Treweeke Mall. Since then Alliance personnel from the DITPS have been able to hold Anne General Hospital and St. Anacletus's Hospital, while the ELT reported that the Whitlock Building has managed to rebuff several attempted zombie break-ins, but the zombies will no doubt continue their siege. The mall itself remains a fortress since it recapture, proving without a doubt that there is nothing the zombies can take that we cannot take back.

In other news, Alliance scouts have reported that zombie activity in Pescodside has dropped significantly and the suburb's danger level has since been upgraded to a "safe" status.

September 15th, 2007 - With the recent zombie conflicts in the very heart of Alliance territory diplomatic missions to other survivors groups in the NE Corner have been few and far between. Even so, efforts by the Dribbling Beavers to assist in the defense and reclamation of Treweeke Mall did not go unnoticed by the Alliance leadership. As such, extra effort was made to establish diplomatic ties with the veteran survivor group from Santlerville and on this day that goal was finally achieved. In a treaty ceremony at an undisclosed location Evils Presley and Shotgun Ed signed a Non-Aggression Pact that cemented relations between the Dribbling Beavers and the Alliance.

Former diplomat, Caleb Usher, had this to say on this historic event, "The Dulston Alliance values the continued support of its newest ally, the Dribbling Beavers, who have already proven themselves as a force to be reckoned with when dealing with some of the most powerful zombie hordes in Malton. Compared to the relatively small zombie groups currently occupying Dulston it is only a matter of time before all zombie resistance in the northeast is crushed."

September 14th, 2007 - A recon report has 47 zombies now hanging around outside Treweeke Mall. Could this sudden increase in activity be in some way connected to zombies reading our news and rallying against us? We don't believe so, since zombies can't even spell "news", let alone read it. Regardless of the reason Alliance members are reminded to keep an eye on the mall's barricades.

September 11th, 2007 - As of 3:14PM (EDT) a recon from the ELT indicates that most of Dulston's buildings have been reclaimed. At this time only 11 buildings remain ruined/ransacked, while the rest have been recaptured and re-barricaded (all EHB, except for entry-points).

Of course the weakening of zombie forces in the area has culminated in their gathering outside the southwest corner of Treweeke Mall. Last count had 54 zombies milling about outside and attacking the barricades. No doubt they came after hearing the Alliance's rooftop heckles and general zombie insults. In all honestly, no matter what the final outcome, it was seriously funny. Zombie egos bruise like peaches... easily.

Update: In a surprising turn of events, rather than increasing the size of the zombie mob attacking the mall, the Alliance's taunts have apparently diminished their undead numbers. No doubt feelings were hurt. Where once there were 54 zombies outside there now stand only 39. Of course the Alliance isn't about to hold back now that the zombies are apparently on the (emotional) defensive. The plan is to continue belittling them from the mall's rooftop until the very last vestiges of whatever glory they obtained from toppling Treweeke Mall has evaporated. Failing that, Plan B involves hurling rotten vegetables, gathered from the mall's grocery store, down at the zombies below. It's gonna be sweeeet!

September 8th, 2007 - Due to the heroic efforts of the Dulston Alliance, and key allied groups like the Dribbling Beavers, Treweeke Mall has been retaken! Every corner is powered, barricaded, and zombie-free (that's 100% less zombies than previously advertised). Here is the latest recon update, courtesy of the Electric Light Torchestra.

Treweeke Mall

NE corner- 30 survivors, 0 zombies (powered, radio, EHB), 0 zombies outside
NW corner- 23 survivors, 0 zombies (powered, radio, EHB), 3 zombies outside
SE corner- 55 survivors, 0 zombies (powered, radio, EHB), 3 zombies outside
SW corner- 19 survivors, 0 zombies (powered, radio, EHB), 9 zombies outside

The Whitlock Building

34 survivors, 8 zombies (no power, no radio, EHB), 50 zombies outside

Pegrum Place PD

6 survivors, 0 zombies (no power, no radio, HB), 37 zombies outside

September 6th, 2007 - After every axe was broken, and after every bullet fired, the dust settled around Treweeke Mall. The zombies had driven out the survivors. Those that made it out alive fell back to either The Whitlock Building or Pegrum Place PD. It has become apparent that we do not have the resources or manpower to secure the mall, but our top strategists are busy working on a daring plan to push back the zombie menace. Updates will follow shortly, and It is recommended that survivors in Dulston focus on reviving and healing for the time being. Remember, don't give up! Show the zombies that we will defend our home to the last man!

September 5th, 2007 - While the southwest corner of Treweeke Mall remains in zombie hands the Alliance and local survivors have managed to secure the other three corners of the mall and with assistance from the Electric Light Torchestra each location is now powered. As such, 75% of the mall is currently zombie free. Additional survivor reinforcements have been called in to assist with plans to further secure the mall and push ahead with a counter-offensive against the zombie invaders in the southwest corner.

In what some members of the Alliance consider a surprise, the Friends of the Featherstone Library have been assisting with the offensive against the zombies. The "surprise" here being that the FotFL almost exclusively hunt murderers these days. It just goes to show you that they really are team players when the chips are down.

September 4th, 2007 - Nothing quite like the smell of napalm in the morning. The battle for Treweeke Mall has been fierce, but it's now only a matter of time before the zombie forces yield to survivors as the only factor holding back resecuring the entire mall is a lack in survivor manpower caused by the initial attack against the mall and the associated casualties. Until those survivors are revived and rejoin the fight the battle will remain in a stalemate. At this time survivors control the northeast corner of the mall, while 34 or so zombie fester in the southwest corner. The northwest and southeast corner are currently in the midst of a tug-of-war as zombie overrun and survivors reclaim the two areas on an hourly basis. Neither side seems willing to give them up or powerful enough to hold them for long.

On the other hand both the Whitlock Building and Pegrum Place PD are secure and powered. With both of these resource buildings firmly secured it will no doubt speed along the reclamation process.

August 31st, 2007 - The Dribbling Beavers from Santlerville and the Burchell Arms Regulars from Rolt Heights have dispatched support forces to assist with reclaiming Treweeke Mall from the zombies infesting it.

August 28th, 2007 - Treweeke Mall, like a mighty football player, has been sacked. The current status of several buildings in the suburb can be seen below:

Treweeke Mall

NE corner - 20 zombie, 00 survivor - NO Generator/NO Barricades/Ransacked
NW corner - 08 zombie, 00 survivor - NO Generator/NO Barricades/Ransacked
SE corner - 00 zombie, 01 survivor - NO Generator/QSB Barricades/Ransacked
SW corner - 12 zombie, 00 survivor - NO Generator/NO Barricades/Ransacked

The Whitlock Building

51 zombies, 0 survivors - NO Generator/NO Barricades/Ransacked

August 26th, 2007 - Treweeke Mall is under attack. The current status of several key resource buildings in the suburb can be seen below:

Treweeke Mall

NE corner - 00 zombie, 110 survivor - NO Generator/EHB Barricades
NW corner - 00 zombie, 025 survivor - NO Generator/EHB Barricades
SE corner - 01 zombie, 042 survivor - NO Generator/EHB Barricades
SW corner - 68 zombie, 001 survivor - NO Generator/Barricades/Ransacked

Pegrum Place PD

0 zombies, 80 survivors - Powered Generator/EHB Barricades

The Whitlock Building

1 zombie, 78 survivors - Unpowered Generator/HB Barricades

August 24th, 2007 - Murders have skyrocketed over the past few days, but that was expected and doesn't come as a surprise given the recent DORIS and Red Rum activity in the area. Reports continue to come in from various bounty hunters and groups, like the Knight Watchmen, who are actively hunting these killers in an attempt to thin their numbers. The one bit of bright news is the sudden resurgence of Dead vs Blue, which Officer Murphy claimed was due to DvB's need to settle their score with the remnants of the once mighty DORIS. We wish them luck in this noble endeavor.

August 8th, 2007 - Stickling Mall over in Shearbank has been attacked and is being overrun by LUE. To this the Alliance gives a collective shrug. After Stickling Mall they may very well come back or meander off in some other direction. Much like a headless chicken LUE's course is hard to predict so the Alliance prefers to err on the side of caution whenever dealing with a deadly zombie horde and just watch out for them. On the plus side, they're not here right now.

In other news DORIS is apparently still hanging around waiting for their "big day", but that's hardly newsworthy. Eventually they'll claim some odd victory and disappear, as is their way. In the meantime efforts have been made to execute as many DORIS members as possible before they disappear into the woodwork yet again. No doubt this will also lead to further murder claims by Druboo on the Rogues Gallery as she protests her innocence as a simple bounty hunter, even while her group affiliation clearly shows "DORIS". We continue to find her claims humorous.

August 2nd, 2007 - Alliance frontline guards from recon outposts in Rolt Heights have reported that very large mobs of zombies have started to flood into the suburb. This is without a doubt the LUE horde, a horde whose tactics include telling you they're not coming... only to then alert you via radio that they actually are coming. We lack words to define this line of logic. New ones would have to be invented.

The Burchell Arms Regulars, allies of the Alliance, have been alerted to the LUE threat, but were already in the midst of preparing anti-LUE defenses so they should be on good terms should any zombies foolishly attack the Burch'. In advance of the outcome of this conflict the Alliance predicts that the DDT will claim this as some sort of victory. We can hope they have more class than to take credit for another horde's work, but we don't think so. The bets are in...

July 30th, 2007 - Word has it the LUE is coming for Treweeke Mall, having recently (almost) smashed Dowdney Mall over in nearby Santlerville. This zombie horde is well known for their many successes in overrunning malls and as we seriously doubt telling them to bugger off will keep them out of Alliance territory we have instead opted to officially announce: "BRING IT ON!".

This will no doubt be a glorious battle with many casualties and as LUE roughly outnumbers the Alliance membership 3-to-1 we highly recommend that each member kill at least 3 zombies for every time that they are killed in order to even things out, just don't ask us how.

July 26th, 2007 - Rumors have been flying around that Red Rum has teamed up with the remnants of DORIS to attack Dulston. Unfortunately as Dulston has always been a hub for murderous activity it is hard to gauge whether recent sightings are related to this rumored event. While the Dulston Alliance is somewhat busy dealing with the current zombie influx our spokesperson had this to say, "DORIS? Didn't they all die off or something? I heard their leader jumped off a cliff and the rest followed, lemming-style. Nah, I'm just pulling your leg. Odd to hear they're back though, as we keep tabs on most of those buried in our graveyard and none of them have stirred in ages. See, we have gravestones for Crotchshot, mpaturet, Mr Sheriff, Nagome, and a bunch of others. If they are back though I'm sure Shotgun Ed will be happy, he sure loved executing DORIS members. Always put a smile on his face."

July 20th, 2007 - A press conference at Treweeke Mall was held to announce that King Murek's Army has as of today joined the Dulston Alliance and in doing so has shown their support for greater survivor unity within the NE Corner. As zombie troubles continue to stir within east-Pescodside their help and that of the Alliance will be needed in the days to come. Survivors are reminded to report zombie sightings and killers to the Alliance in order to help secure a safer tomorrow.

July 17th, 2007 - With Maris Viridis having only just disappeared from Dulston yesterday it now appears that DORIS may have returned. This rumor has been attributed to Canderous Ordo, a member of this infamous(ly crazy) group of killers. Not since the Dulston Alliance drove DORIS from the NE Corner have they been seen in any significant numbers as many of their original members are shown as retired/dead. Whether this is just "smoke and mirrors" has yet to be seen, but the Knight Watchmen and Dulston Alliance bounty hunters are keeping an eye out for them.

July 8th, 2007 - While many survivors celebrated Biertag over in Rolt Heights zombie troubles still brewed in Dulston and in a somber turn of events the Pescodside Defense Alliance (PDA) have decided to depart from the Dulston Alliance. Their reason was that they felt they could not afford to assist other suburbs when their own suffered from zombie attacks so often. Instead they intend to focus all their efforts on ridding Pescodside of its zombie menace. The Alliance, while disheartened to see a member group depart its ranks, wished them all the best on their great endeavor.

June 29th, 2007 - On this fateful day a new treaty was signed between the Dulston Alliance and The Abandoned. While the survivors aligned with The Abandoned are situated in Yagoton, as one of Malton's premiere survivor groups the Alliance believes it is in everyone's interests to establish diplomatic relations. As such, a Non-Aggression Pact was signed and in a surprising gesture The Abandoned even offered to assist the Alliance with its zombie "problem" once they had finished off the ones in their suburb. Now there's an offer that's hard to refuse.

June 22nd, 2007 - During the seven day bloodbath the Dulston Alliance and its allies, the Burchell Arms Regulars, achieved over 63 confirmed kills of St. Anastasius' Royal Guard clones. While the threat posed by the clones was minimal the response was a message to all survivors that such abominal tactics would never be permitted with Alliance territory. Now that Operation Cleansing Wave has ended members return to their regular duties.

June 19th, 2007 - The slaughter of St. Anastasius' Royal Guard clones has continued into its 4th day now with the execution count reaching 44 confirmed kills, and probably a dozen or so more unconfirmed kills. In a twist of fate, Maris Viridis has claimed they are not allies with SARG and in fact will assist with hunting down SARG clones. SARG in turn has declared that Maris Viridis is now its enemy. While the gang war with Maris Viridis has not ended the Dulston Alliance is more than happy to let both groups fight each other while it concentrates on SARG for the time being.

June 18th, 2007 - Coverage of the inept buffoonery now commonly associated with St. Anastasius' Royal Guard and the clean-up operation for what is now being called the Farbrother Farce was sidelined as the Alliance stepped forward to announce far more important news.

As of today it should be known that a Non-Aggression Pact was formally signed with The Grove. Members of the Alliance have always considered the Grove their friends ever since the days when they last visited the area during the Grove Tour. The Alliance looks forward to working together again in the near future.

June 17th, 2007 - Barely 3 days after the Farbrother War started it has been claimed that the war has ended. Unlike the level battlefield set by the PKer Alliance during the Rolt Heights War, the Farbrother War was marred by the controversial use of clones by St. Anastasius' Royal Guard who used these inexperienced mass-produced abominations to overwhelm several buildings in Pescodside. Thus proving that their so-called victories were nothing more than hollow lies. Maris Viridis was indicated as a supporter of SARG, but we can all only hope that they were unaware of their allies' underhanded tactics.

June 16th, 2007 - The so-called Farbrother War initiated by St. Anastasius' Royal Guard against the survivors of Pescodside has taken a turn for the lame. Where once this murderous killing spree was being treated as nothing more than another, in a long line of, terrorist cell nuisances, recent information has come to light proving that there is something far more sinister underway. Rumors abound that the members of SARG are in fact... clones! A recent sighting shows several "Kevin###" clones (Kevin001, Kevin003, Kevin014, Kevin015, Kevin016, ect) working alongside several other inexperienced clones. The Burchell Arms Regulars and the Dulston Alliance have both declared they will work together to deal with this menace once and for all, no matter what shady tactics the SARG chooses to employ. Also a formal report was issued against this incident.

June 14th, 2007 - After three weeks of intense negotiations, what started off as a simple renewal of old treaties between the Malton Fire Department, Malton Civil Defense Unit, and the Dulston Alliance ended with a Non-Aggression Pact being signed with the entire Department of Emergency Management. As such, on this very day, the Dulston Alliance and the DEM are formally considered allies in the struggle against zombies and murderers. What this alliance will have in store for the NE Corner has yet to be seen, but local survivors are optimistic that this is yet another nail in the coffin of their enemies.

June 13th, 2007 - While zombies continue to stumble around eastern Dulston at Treweeke Mall survivors gathered to witness a historic diplomatic ceremony as the Dulston Alliance and the U.S. Army Infantry signed an official Support Accord treaty. Exact details of the treaty are unclear, but what has been learned is that the USAI has committed an entire platoon to render aid to the Alliance should it be required and the Alliance in turn has promised to lend the support of its Joint Task Force to the USAI should they call for support. When asked to comment noted NecroTech scientist, Caleb Usher, had this to say, "I'm not saying this alliance will lead to the utter annihilation of all zombies in Northeast Malton, but I'm certainly not saying that it won't."

June 11th, 2007 - Ever since the Battle of Santlerville ended the Alliance has discussed expanding its influence beyond the NE Corner by forming a new mobile combat unit. As such, in order to meet alliance obligations and provide support to other survivor groups the Mobile Joint Task Force was created. This force is composed primarily of military personnel from Metal Fox and combat medics from DITPS, although other member groups have agreed to supply additional forces from their groups as required.

June 5th, 2007 - In what can now be termed "Classic Maris Viridis", the group of small-time killers have yet again handed out more laughs (at their expense) than kills. Recently a member of their group, Officer Mo, approached Metal Fox and requested to join them in an effort to avoid further persecution under Alliance Law. While the matter was being considered SgtBop, leader of Maris Viridis, learned of this and declared that... get this... the Alliance was "stealing" its members. Yes, apparently playground rules are in full force as far as this band of ruthless killers are concerned. As such, the Alliance has "called dibs on Dulston". This should now force Maris Viridis to leave the suburb or face further ridicule from the elementary school peers.

UPDATE: It has been learned that earlier claims that SgtBop was upset over the departure of Officer Mo have been denied. In truth the entire news post should be deleted, if not for the awesome wordsmithing that went into it. But for the official record, Officer Mo is leaving Maris Viridis, but SgtBop does not care. I mean, he plans on killing Officer Mo, but that's not really news when you think about it.

June 1st, 2007 - The Dulston Alliance gathered at Treweeke Mall for a somber occasion as they commemorate the end of an era for one of the Alliance's founding groups. The Dulston Defense Death Squad (DDDS) was granted full honors by the city council as the DDDS were recorded within Malton's Historical Archive so later generations could learn about them. Whether one agreed or disagreed with the DDDS' harsh anti-zombie policies, one had to respect them for what they had managed to accomplish in the suburb of Dulston. Let us not forget them.

May 26th, 2007 - Word has reached Dulston that the Battle of Santlerville is finally over and it was a glorious victory for our survivor brethren! The RRF have declared their campaign against the suburb's defenders a loss and are retreating. The Alliance's expeditionary force to aid Santlerville, composed of elements from both Metal Fox and DITPS, intend to stay a few extra days to help clean-up any straggling zombies and confirm the declared defeat is not a clever zombie ruse. After that they will return to Dulston and assist with the growing zombie problem.

May 25th, 2007 - With all the paperwork properly filled out and filed by Caleb Usher the Dulston Alliance has officially declared war on Maris Viridis, a small-time group of murderers who hide in northern Dulston (i.e. the Perryn Building). The Black List has since been updated to include most, if not all, of the group's members. Interestingly, as an ironic twist of fate, most of Maris Viridis was wiped out back on May 7th in a Red Rum "hit" because at that time the group still professed themselves to be bounty hunters. Now that's what I call classic.

May 24th, 2007 - There are currently two zombie groups operating in Dulston at this time: The Infected Swarm and The Plague. The first group apparently plans to stay and considers the Dulston Alliance its enemy. To which the Alliance's official response is a sarcastic: "What, can't zombies and survivors just be friends?". The Plague, on the other hand, is only here to attack Treweeke Mall on the last leg of their own tour. They are a well-coordinated, but small, zombie group. Be on the look-out for them, but note that unlike the Infected Swarm they are not death cultists.

In other news Red Rum is apparently holding the Battle Royale in Dulston. Survivors should expect to see a lot of murderers and bounty hunters killing each other over the next while. Hopefully locals will not be dragged into this contest.

May 18th, 2007 - A single bugle played as the standard for The Last Stand lowered over Treweeke Mall from where it hung atop one of several flag poles among the other standards of the Dulston Alliance member groups. Jack Sorrows, former leader of the survivor group, was there to accept his group's standard and signal the end to an era. It was a sad day for Pescodside as another survivor group passed away into history. Those remaining members of The Last Stand, under private agreement, had joined with the Pescodside Defense Alliance so that they could continue the fight and aid the NE Corner even though their group was no more. Fight on brave soldiers, fight on.

May 9th, 2007 - With great fan-fair and much celebration, the Dulston Alliance today welcomed its newest member group, Metal Fox, into the Alliance. Known for their sudden rise to power, Metal Fox assisted survivors in both Rolt Heights and Pescodside. Designated spokesperson and noted NecroTech scientist, Caleb Usher, had this to say to those present at Treweeke Mall, "Today the Dulston Alliance has taken yet another step forward to securing peace and prosperity for all living, breathing humans in Northeast Malton. NecroTech welcomes all survivor alliances which strengthen the NE Corner of Malton." It should be noted that with the inclusion of Metal Fox the Dulston Alliance now holds a firm presence in Rolt Heights, where before it only deployed random patrols into the suburb.

May 7th, 2007 - The Dulston Destruction Tour continues to putter around... doing stuff no doubt. Actually they've helped alleviate some of the boredom the plagues Dulston more than any zombie menace ever could. Local survivors are encouraged to get out and enjoy a hearty round of "zombie hunting" without the need to wander countless blocks to "flush out" a zombie or two, at least while they last. Hopefully this will also mean fewer RP kills; as seriously, killing undead survivors is a serious social faux pas.

May 2nd, 2007 The Rolt Heights War has officially ended. As such, all Dulston Alliance members assisting in the clean-up should be ready to report back to their normal duties after a few days as any straggling murderers are taken care of by Alliance bounty hunters.

April 20th, 2007 - The so-called Dulston Destruction Tour has come to the attention of the Alliance. While only a minor threat, in and of itself, it does remind us that Mall Tour '07 has ended and zombies will be looking for trouble. The NE Corner has been very green (safe) for some time now and it is not impossible our suburbs may become the target of zombie mobs. As such plans are being made to counter, or at least mitigate the impact of, this looming threat.

April 18th, 2007 - The Alliance has come to the conclusion that this has gone on far enough. As such, RCDC, the Friends of the Featherstone Library, and most recently Dead vs Blue, have been mobilized to start counter-operations to deal with the PKer Alliance. This includes an alliance with the Burchell Arms Regulars. All murderers found during recon missions are to be reported and executed.

April 8th, 2007 - The PKer Alliance have started the Rolt Heights War in the suburb of the same name. The member groups of this murderous organization have been targeting all survivors in Rolt Heights regardless of group affiliation. The suburb's various survivor groups, in particular the Burchell Arms Regulars, have been fighting back. At this time the Alliance will do what it can to restrict the PKA's access to suburbs under our stewardship.

April 6th, 2007 - Times change and as new member groups joined the Dulston Alliance the matter of the Sacred Ground Policy was once again revisited. The policy, which the Alliance opposed ever since the "NT Massacre" last year, was voted on once more. This time though support for the policy was much stronger resulting in the policy being reinstated as standard group policy. As of this day Alliance members are advised to treat cemeteries as revive points.

March 9th, 2007 - As new member groups join the Alliance, so to do older groups pass on. Today local survivors spread the word that the survivor group, BLACKOUT, had been officially disbanded. While the group's heyday had long since passed and their membership had been in steady decline since, the members of the Alliance tip their collective hats to those survivors who had once been among their most loyal and bravest fighters.

March 8th, 2007 - The Dulston Alliance welcomes two new members groups into the Alliance. The Electric Light Torchestra and the Dulston Infection Treatment and Prevention Squad (D.I.T.P.S.) are recognized for the vital services they provided during the Mall Tour's siege of Dulston. Whether administering medical aid or maintaining powered generators at NecroTech facilities, both groups showed exemplary action. All members of the Alliance are asked to welcome its newest members with open arms and a renewed sense of purpose in our struggle against "zombie oppression".

March 2nd, 2007 - Thanks to the efforts of the Alliance members and local survivors Treweeke Mall has been retaken. Survivors are asked to return to the mall in order to help replenish the ranks of its defenders in order to prevent the possibility that another zombie group might try to take advantage of the mall's weakened state.

March 1st, 2007 - Mall Tour '07 has left the NE Corner and are moving onto their next mall target. At this time the primary goal is to revive the fallen and replenish survivor numbers in Dulston. Once this task in underway efforts will be made to re-secure the Whitlock Building, the Waish Building (in Pescodside), and Pegrum Place PD which fell into zombie hands yesterday. After that guerilla tactics will be used to reclaim Treweeke Mall.

This is the current occupancy at Treweeke Mall, according to recent radio broadcasts. These statistics will be updated from day to day as the situation develops (17:49 GMT, 1 March 2007):
8 Zombies
0 Survivors
15 Zombies
0 Survivors
13 Zombies
0 Survivors
8 Zombies
0 Survivors

February 26th, 2007 - Mall Tour '07 has assaulted Treweeke Mall with their unbridled full-force. All members of the Dulston Alliance are called on to defend the mall at all costs, but should the barricades be breached and all hope lost, do not die in vain. If Treweeke Mall is overwhelmed members are to fall back to the nearest standing NecroTech facility, with the Whitlock Building being the primary fall back point.

In order to help inspire camaraderie among his fellow survivors in these troubled times Caleb Usher created and distributed a new Alliance recruitment poster throughout the suburbs of the NE Corner. A copy of this poster can be found right here.

February 15th, 2007 - The Devenish Rangers have disbanded and thus departed from the Dulston Alliance. It is unclear at this time as to the reason for the group's disappearance, but there is hope that some of the group's members may join other survivor groups in the Alliance to shore-up its ranks again. This has been a public service announcement from noted NecroTech scientist, Caleb Usher.

2006

December 26th, 2006 - The Alliance has swept aside most of the local zombie resistance. The battle in Dulston is now with groups of PKers such as DORIS, a new group that has sprung up called The Myrmidons, and a number of DORIS alts and sympathizers. There are still significantly more Dulston Alliance members than all these groups combined so they have not been able to gain a stable foothold in the Greater Dulston area. --Shotgun Ed 10:55am (CST)

November 14th, 2006 - The Alliance has kept Dulston and its surrounding suburbs extremely safe the past few weeks. They have also put aside their differences with the Shamblin' Crooners and now are looked at as a rare form of entertainment in Dulston. The only problems in the suburb at the moment are the occasional feral zombies and PKers. Or specifially the group known as DORIS. --Officer Murphy 07:12pm (CST)

November 5th, 2006 – The infamous, some might say "infamously insane", group of cold-blooded killers from DORIS have begun to stalk through Dulston murdering survivors at random. DORIS has made its typical crazy threatening demands, which as always simply serve as an excuse for them to kill people. The Dulston Alliance will not stand for this sort of nonsense (obviously). Hunting parties have been formed to recon and execute any DORIS members in the area.

October 5th, 2006Dulston is operating normally and break-ins are minimal, but the Shamblin' Crooners have returned to the suburb. Also the number of local survivors is nowhere near pre-Big Bash levels. As such, the Alliance is calling out to all Dulstonians to return home. Remember to contact members of the Alliance should anyone need a revive or some help. --JP 20:31, 5 October 2006 (BST)

September 26th, 2006 - Treweeke Mall has been retaken from the horde. Revives for Duport Avenue are just now getting back into full swing and the suburb is on its way back to restoring order under survivor control.

September 12th, 2006 - After a week of intense combat Treweeke Mall has finally fallen to the Big Bash! This was a tragic loss for the Alliance as most of its member groups were involved in this battle and suffered an 80-90% casualty rate once the mall fell. At this time the Alliance can only recoup its losses by recovering its lost forces. All remaining (live) members are asked to regroup at the secret rendezvous location. From there counter-insurgency plans will be launched.

September 4th, 2006 - The Big Bash zombie horde has finally arrived in Dulston! As the entire suburb moves into red alert status survivors were reminded to head to Treweeke Mall in an orderly fashion and follow the tactical plans laid forth by the Dulston Alliance. The mall will serve as the main headquarters for all Alliance groups as we fight the horde.

September 3rd, 2006 - As preparations are under way to fortify the area against the oncoming zombie horde, The Big Bash, some time was put aside to welcome a new member group to the Dulston Alliance. The Last Stand, a survivor group from Pescodside, has joined and will stand strong against the zombies when they invade.

July 27th, 2006 - The Dulston Alliance formally welcomes the Devenish Rangers as its newest member group. The Devenish Rangers, a survivor group situated two suburbs south in Dunningwood, will enable the Alliance to continue spreading its sphere of influence into other suburbs beyond Dulston. Perhaps, with enough members, the entire NE Corner may one day be secured.

July 4th, 2006 - Fighting was intense, but the RRF have started to pull out of Dulston. As their horde retreats word is spreading that they plan to move their battle of Rolt Heights. While the Dulston Alliance has no official claim to this suburb, as it has no member group stationed there, we have deemed it in the best interests of all survivors to send in support forces to aid them in their struggle against the RRF.

June 26th, 2006 - In the midst of the conflict a new survivor group, BLACKOUT, has joined with the Dulston Alliance in its fight to rid the area of the RRF. Once again the ranks of the Alliance swell as new blood joins to further the organizations goals of a survivor united NE Corner. Let us all take a moment from hacking zombies to welcome these brave soldiers into our ranks... there, now returning to slaughtering RRF zombies.

June 20th, 2006 - The RRF have invaded the NE Corner, and at this time are ransacking buildings along the northern edge of Dulston. The Dulston Alliance has rallied its forces and plans to meet the RRF with its own counter-insurgency force. Fighting has already started and will not stop until the Alliance has driven the RRF from the streets of Dulston.

June 11th, 2006 - Having marshaled its forces against them, the Dulston Alliance has shattered the zombie group, Dead Rain. Under constant attack from the Alliance, Dead Rain has disbanded and most of its former members have left Dulston in search of a more zombie infested suburb, bar those few remnants who are either feral zombies now or non-affiliated survivors. After the "NT Massacre" the Alliance will not forgive anyone who tries to raise the standard of Dead Rain ever again.

May 19th, 2006 - Less than a day after the public alert, Dead Rain has struck. Reports show they hid their members at Dulston's lone cemetery, commonly deemed an unofficial revive point, and thus were able to avoid notice. Both northeast NT buildings were overrun with 100% survivor casualty rate. Deemed a security risk from this day forward the Dulston Alliance no longer recognizes the Sacred Ground Policy and its members have the right to cleanse all cemeteries of zombies.

May 18th, 2006 - A new zombie group has been discovered in Dulston called Dead Rain. They are mainly a Brain Rot zombie group that uses zombie spies to confirm their targets and weaken a building's defenses from the inside. Dead Rain has been sighted at official revive points around Dulston, gathering their strength before attacking vital resource buildings. It's believed that Dead Rain is responsible for the deadly "Dulston Towers Attack" from a month ago. As such, all members are to be on their guard, especially in the northeast corner of the suburb.

April 8th, 2006 - Today the Friends of the Featherstone Library, a survivor group whose safehouse happens to be the Featherstone Library in Pescodside, have joined the ranks of the Dulston Alliance. With there excellent assassin hunting skills (honed from years of wargaming), thick (fake?) British accents, and booksmarts the zombies had better watch out! As a condition of membership though the Alliance had to agree to return any overdue books its members had checked out during or prior to the "Malton Incident".

March 8th, 2006 - The Dulston Alliance officially recognizes the Dulston Defense Death Squad (DDDS) and the local Malton Fire Department (MFD) contingent forces stationed in Dulston, as new member groups who have chosen to join the Alliance. That raises the Dulston Alliance to six member groups.

March 6th, 2006 - A new death cult calling itself The End has appeared within Dulston. Lead by Appleyard and co-leader Phish Dude, the cult has already declared open war on the Dulston Defense Death Squad. In response the DDDS has categorized the cultists as priority targets, meaning that they are to be eliminated on sight and without warning.

FOXHOUND, speaking on behalf of the Dulston Alliance, has openly stated that the Alliance will see to: "THE END of the End". All alliance members are hereby granted full clearance to kill these cultists on sight.

March 2nd, 2006 - As word of the Dulston Alliance spreads several groups have already stepped forward to join the newly-forged survivor organization. FOXHOUND, Special Air Service (SAS), and The Safety Patrol have pledged to uphold the ideals presented by the mutually beneficial alliance. Also the groundwork for a suburb-wide coordination of zombie hunting patrols may soon follow as Dead vs Blue works towards establishing its tactical operations center. Rumors have it the this joint patrol might extend beyond the borders of Dulston into neighboring Rhodenbank, Rolt Heights, and Pescodside in an effort to eliminate or contain zombie mobs outside Dulston before they can menace the suburb.

February 27th, 2006 - On this glorious day the survivor organization known as the Dulston Alliance is born by the hand of the survivor group, Dead vs Blue. Efforts begin in earnest to secure member groups from among Dulston's other local survivor groups. Together they will work towards securing peace and prosperity with the NE Corner. So let us raise up our axes so we may slaughter the undead, and take up our shovels that we may bury them once they're truly dead. For the Alliance foresees a day when the dead will stay buried, and on that day it will be by the hand of the Alliance that the zombie menace is halted once and for all.
