The zombies that have recently leveled Dulston and Rhodenbank have arrived, claiming the Wortley Building. They have ruined pretty much everything up to Sheapperd Library, and are currently poised to take everything up to Shufflebotham Boulevard Fire Station. One can't help but wonder if and when these zombies will ever stop. --Red Hawk One 04:48, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Clare General Hospital is in ruin and one surivor is currently being eaten. Perry Libariy is at QSB and nearby buildings are under the threat of attacks. I recommd surivors get out their now and show the zombies who boss. Yell101 01:00, 19 June 2008 (BST)

Great defense guys, most surivors in the area ran for their lifes and lefted the buildings and few remaining surviors fall into zombies hands. They could blow the surburb over with a feather at this rate. I mean seriously they were at most level 15. And it was about five of them, who quite possibily could had been zergs. I think it time Earltown stop running and got together and defended itself. I mean what our you going to do when a seriouse threat comes along? Run? Or join BOW at http://bowforums2000.proboards105.com/index.cgi and rebuild Earltown into a serious boradertown player. The surburb that stopped previous zombies waves that topple the northwestern map is now a pacethic group of whiners who run at the first sign of a fight. BOW a legend in its own right. Is coming back. Join and become a part of this legend, become something great. Show those zergs some lead, not tail. Yell101 21:25, 20 June 2008 (BST)

Clare General Hospital and all surrounding buildings in ruined and zombies all over the place. I reccomed all dead surviors go to Ames Plaza and I get to you.

As the self-appointed rebuilder and temporany leader of the defuction BOW. I hearby delcare BOW to be back in Earltown. Which is it home suburb since the begining of the outbreak. And it puzzles me why our group name was removed from the list. We were still around in Earltown. Anyway, any new recuits looking for a group to teach them the ropes and help them level up,veterans looking to kick @$$ and former BOWs member ready to help rebuild a dreadnaught of zombie butt kicking machaniey. Contact me on BOW forum at http://bowforums2000.proboards105.com/index.cgi. If any surivors groups would like to get in touch with us. Check our forums. Yeah we are aware and Earletown Alliance has been in discussion about updating the cade plan but someone is trying to slander THEM and in the process has been removing barricade level tags and over barricading. The new plan looks like THIS with all Fire Stations, Schools, Libraries, and the Church as entry points. Also Yea Bank since its an Island and the Factory South of the Church so the new have somewhere to supply. If someone better with the image editing can post that up it'd be appreciated. --N0TAPYR0 02:36, 1 April 2008 (BST)

Etheldreda General Hospital (72,6) and Swansborough Road Fire Station (73, 9) are VSB. Suburb seems to be relatively safe... Do you want some action? Try Santlerville, help is needed there!! --TomAngelo 20:39, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Confirming - this suburb has clearly been overbarricaded rather effectively in order to kill all survivors who step outdoors. Am currently one of the soon-to-die. --Violet B 20:36, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

THEM members continue to vandalize Pullinger Row and Zombra's Pub buildings while bringing more zombies into Earltown from neighboring Chancelwood. This wouldn't be so bad if THEM acctually did something about the zombies, but instead they have chosen to do nothing and let Pullinger Row and Zombra's Pub clean up their fucking mess and try to claim the work as their own...--Tre4 3:21, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

January 18th

Hey, just a friend from your southern border here, not actually a survivor of Earltown. The last news of Earltown was ten days ago, and you are still marked as red. Does this mean there are no survivors in Earltown? It doesn't seem that all your buildings are ruined, as brief scouting parties have acknowledged. Can you give an update on the suburb, and if at all possible, the condition of the Acort Arms? Thank you, and happy hunting! --Vandurn 18:01, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

January 8th

the Wortley Building is EHB and lighted, otherwise nothing stirs in the burb. --ZSandmann 16:52, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

NecroWatch reported a recent NecroNet scan from the Wortley Building which showed 51 zombies within scanning range. Of these numbers the Kilpatrick Motel was threatened by 7 zombies, while the only other significant number of zombies were across the border in Rhodenbank, with 9 zombies at St Alban's Hospital. The remaining zombies appeared mostly scattered, but even so, their numbers thickened the further west one traveled. One might speculate that the Militant Order of Barhah were indeed moving westwards into Chancelwood.

January 7th

The Militant Order of Barhah has overcome almost all resistance in Earletown. The streets are littered with bodies and most, if not all, major resource buildings are completely ruined. TouchingVirus 13:14, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

The Militant Order of Barhah has swept through this neighborhood like a tidal wave. The hordes have claimed The Wortley Building leaving it in ruins, and all surrounding buildings. This neighborhood should be in the red. It makes sense, as it's streets run red with blood. -- Vadim

The Militant Order of Barhah has taken out Acort Arms, HQ of Zombra's pub. Request back up from other neighboring suburbs! -- Wealthyman2

Earletown is under heavy assault. Many buildings at the east side of the suburb are ruined. the Wortley Building and revive point at Ames Plaza are actually out of order. Waves of attackers are advancing to west side. Many defenders fell down. --Eolis 22:51, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Earletown is active with a number of zeds present in the streets, most seem to be either alone or in small groups however there appears to have been a number of concentrated attacks on certain buildings.More worryingly I have observed two instances of human survivors destroying generators wether this is due to random actions or something more organised is unknown. Anybody have any recent news? I'm thinking of heading to this area but I'd like to know the status first. Mrxak 02:49, 21 September 2007 (BST)

Earltown got hit by the zombie horde that came from west. About 1/3 of earltown in ruin. A big improvement over the 9/10 that was ruined a couple of days ago. We would love to have you help us. And maybe you will think about joining BOW? :) yell101 3:21, 22 September 2007 (BST)

August

August 10th

I am a zombie at the moment, and it seems to me that Earletown is no longer safe. There are many zeds scattered throughout the area, with multiple breakins occuring. I myself have broken into the Acourt Building and infected 7 survivors, and killed another. Earletown is no longer safe. --Axemaster 02:01, 11 August 2007 (BST)

Post news, this isn't for bragging, thx. --Tosca 03:22, 22 August 2007 (BST)

August 9th

Zombies were seen at Etheldreda General Hospital.

July

July 15th

Zombies seen at Eldridge Building, 3 at max. Seem to have moved on.

June

June 10th

The phone mast is down.

June 3rd

Members of Dead Air are attacking The Flowar Building (Earletown) trying to snuff out the suburbs Mobile Phone Mast.

June 1st

The first members of the RRF have been sighted in Earletown. It is likely that the group that recently decimated the suburb of Raines Hill is moving from the east in to Earletown, possibly on their way to Dulston to attack the mall. Residents are advised to be vigilant for any activity, lock all windows and doors and call your children in before 7pm.

May

May 26th

Late Breaking NEWS - It has been learned that the recent zombie threat from the Infected Swarm has passed as reports from east Rhodenbank and west Dulston confirm that the zombies have now moved onto other suburbs. In fact, the survivors of Earletown have been free of this menace for more than a week before it was finally reported.

May 7th

It looks as though the zombie threat in Earltown is now more organized. The Infected Swarm has been lingering around The Wortley building and, it seems this is the same group that has a mention of BILOXI in their profiles.

May 4th

Zombie activity has leveled off in Earltown but, it is in no way safe. Shuttlebottom Blvd Firestation has been overrun and the Shepard Library has been taken by a group of Zombies with BILOXI written on their foreheads. It is still not clear what this communication means. The threat level remains unchanged.

April

April 26th

The second wave is here. Clare Hospital is now relatively safe but the Wortley Building (our only NT facility) has been subject to regular break ins. The threat level remains elevated.

April 23rd

It seems that the zombie threat has died down, so thanks to whoever fixed that mess up. I'm leaving the threat level elevated since we could still be in danger of a second wave.

April 22nd

Zeds are littering the streets. Most possible safe houses are heavily barricaded, so any survivor on the street should find the nearest accessible safehouse as soon as possible. Chances are the survivors inside are very scared, and could 'cade to the extreme at any second. Any survivor groups in the area are recommended to stay on high alert, and ready for a fight.

April 19th

The battle for Clare Hospital rages on. Survivors continue to trying to secure the hospital but Zed forces are relentless. It seems as though there is a constant influx of the walking dead into Earltown.

April 17th

A small band of well organized and lethal Zombies have been making their way through the Northwest section of Earltown. Caution is advised.

April 13th

I have been informed by a friend that this suburb has fallen to Zeds. It should no longer be considered safe. Furthermore, it seems that The Horde is enroute to Dulston.

March

March 20th

The situation in Earletown has stabilised. We are now back at green danger level and the revive point in Ames never really got affected much, except by some rotters. Everything is running smoothly. There's nothing really much else to say. Welcome back. --Me101 22:47, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

February

February 23rd

The Militant Order of Barhah has entered the suburb from the south and has cleared several buildings in the south east quadrant. The prophets of Barhah issued the following statement:

We are the crusaders of the True Barhah. We come to cleanse the earth of the pollutant anti-barhah, the needle. Your weapons of steel and powder will not stop us. Your barricades are nothing before the might of the True Barhah. All life will be extinguished.

February 17th

No major events have been taking place as of late and all things seem to be fairly quiet for our sleepy little suburb. No news is good news however as the survivor groups in the area are easily taking care of zed population numbers and making sure that all survivors get prompt revives. It seems however that a dark cloud may be looming on the horizon as the stench of death and decay hangs in the air as the wind shifts out of the west. Perhaps the destruction of current malls is a sign of bad tidings. Only time will tell... Skippy Joe 02:53 am GMT 17-Feb-07

Daily broadcasts on 26.40 of zed activity per binoculars, covers Shuffery Cinema(71,1) to McCandy Avenue (77,1) down to Pullinger Auto Repair(77,7) and back across to Club Swabey (71,7), anything in this square with a zed or survivor on it is reported. This covers most of the suburb but doesn't cover our revive point or NT Building, anyone that wants to send me info on that or on breakins or PKers in the area would be appreciated. We are keeping the cell tower running too so send me a text message or something if you can't get to a transmitter. --N0TAPYR0 13:49, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

January 3rd

Reports are coming in that the Big Bash are planning a raid through Earletown with attacks planned for the hospitals and Curton Masion in neighbouring Chancelwood. This will take place reportedly between 3 days and a week. Survivors are warned to keep away from high target areas.

January 1st

Happy New Year! The revive point at Ames Plaza is now being monitored by the Wanderers as well.

The Wanderers have wandered into the suburb. Join us in our cause to do good throughout Malton.

December 19th

Survivors, Shacknews has recently disbanded as of today so the December 17th bulletin warning of an organized zed attack may be void. Have a nice day!

December 17th

Survivors be extremely careful as reports of the zombie group Shacknews come in about a possible imminent attack on this burb and the neighboring ones. They are a force to be reckoned with! Sleeping in resource buildings is NOT advised. If possible, band together with other survivors! The The Burchell Arms Regulars in the south-eastern portion of Rolt Heights would be a good choice to make a stand with

December 10th

Most of the town is doing well. Many powered and barricaded buildings, as well as a modest population of survivors. What few zeds there are, they are either trying to annoy the revivers, or trying to be revived. On the whole, a nice quiet neighborhood that has some action, but you wouldn't mind raising your kids there.

December 7th

Clare's general hospital is sieged by a bunch of 10-15 zombies. Also, some zombies were seen lurking all around the hospital. Charest

Update: The hospital is down, doors open, and sacked.

A new group called the Zombie Annihilation Faction (ZAF) has entered the town of Earletown and wants to acknowledge the superb performance of BOW and Fire Brigade 47 in the upkeep of this suburb. The ZAF is quite small (2 players err...) and is still waiting for the other member to move into the area, which might take quite some time. The group is currently thinking about setting up a base of operations inside the Angus Towers. The ZAF considers the two previously mentioned groups as allies, and hopes they think the same of us. Since we are such a small group we are extremely open to recruitment, so please stop by our page! --Zombie slay3r 17:01, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

October

October 20th

Things have been relatively quiet in the suburb of Earletown. Break-ins by zombies have mainly remained aimed towards resource buildings. With BOW returning after their aid in the defense of Treweeke Mall a sort of normalcy has returned to the 'burb. The Ames plaza revive point is 100% operational with turnover time down to less than a day. Also, as a result of the new alliance between BOW and The B-Town Boyz the Curton Mansion revive point over the border in Chancelwood is now more active. -Skippy Joe, BOW member

September

September 29th

All resource buildings are currently barricaded and zombie free, many have genorators in them. Probably 75% of the buildings in the suburb are barricaded to Very Strongly or higher.. No more than 3 zombies were seen together at any location. The B-town Boyz are back in Earletown, so all survivor groups are present and accounted for. There are no survivors waiting to be revived. Survivor population is probably about 65% of what it was before the Big Bash arrived. If the situation holds, I would recommend changing the danger rating for Earletown to safe. -SJC Cato, BOW member

September 22th

Ames Plaza is an active revive point again. It will take us a while to process all the people waiting for revives. -BOW and Fire Brigade 47

BOW and Fire Brigade 47 return to Earletown. We have been and always will be the "Organized, in Contact, and Active" members of Earletown. Come join us Lemonhead7t7 or any other like minded individuals- together we can make Earletown safe again. -SJC Cato, BOW Member

September 18th

All is lost. Earletown is no longer the safe haven it used to be, not only 3 weeks ago was it one of the safest places in malton. This just goes to show how powerful the big Bash is. The only way we can crush this is to form a City wide resistance with almost everymember ORGANIZED, in CONTACT, and Active. With out this, all hope is lost.- Lemonhead7t7

September 17th

I've been here for days. How I've managed to stay alive is beyond me. I'm out of ammo and there's noplace to find more of it. Barricading is useless. It only draws attention to you. The streets are swarming with the dead. It seems like every building's been ransacked. If you get stuck here, find a quiet building, stay quiet and hide. I've watched dozens of them walk by my front door. -Alpha Dawg

" Zombies...everywhere... I was the last one to be rivived the zombie waited for em at the revive point. All the revivors went down as well as the few guys who were revived, I managed to get out find another survivor and create a safe house in a mueseum (not sure which one im aped out so I don't know) It will be barricded as far as possible but there zeds knocking down our door and I don't know how long we can last. Send help if anyone is still alive!! -eragon098-

September 14th

Spent casings everywhere, screams in every neighbourhood, cannot say more. Earletown is not safe. Run. Addition from another survivor: The last two safehouses fell today, a large portion of the remaining survivors escaped to Santlerville. It is recommended that people go there to be revived.- BOW

September 12th

I've just come from Treweeke mall. We defended the mall valiantly, but the mall has fallen totally. The PD to the south has been overrun, along with the only hope of counterattack. Once the last survivors have been taken care of, the Bash will come here. Everyone! Barricade the enterances and grab your ammo! The Big Bash is coming!

September 7th

Earletown's main survivor group, BOW, has made the trek over to Treweeke Mall to help mount a defense against the big bash. While BOW concentrates it's efforts in Dulston survivors in Earletown are advised to maintain a minimum of Very Strong barricades on any building they are staying in. Survivors are also reminded to try to keep the number of people staying in a building around seven, any more than that will be a feeding frenzy for attacking zombies.

September 5th

They're here, the big bash is right next door in Rolt Heights and Rhodenbank, I can only imagine the horrors going on at Treweeke Mall right now. God save us all from the comming tides, because nobody else and nothing else will. Hold on to your pants Earletown.

August

August 28th

The Big Bash is only blocks away to the southeast, I issue this advisory to any and all survivors in Earletown, flee! Go south, or go southwest, where they have already been, get out of here. If you're feeling ballsy head over to Treweeke (East in Dulston) or Bale (West in Yagoton) Malls, I'm sure the bash will find you there. Dont head south! The suburbs to the south of earletown are just as easily going to get hit by the horde. Move South-west!

August 23rd

We few folk in Earletown know that the surrounding suburbs are preparing for the inevitable arrival of the big bash, however, Earletown isn't! So zombies expect to find a suburb either completely bereft of survivors, randomly barricaded, and mostly abandoned. Or if you are lucky Earletown will be declared all the surrounding 'burbs fallback point!

(My group and I are already falling back to Earletown from Pescodside, as all hope seems to be lost considering we also have a huge RRF group coming our way, Earletown won't be safe - lemonhead7t7)

August 16th

Trouble for any survivors currently sheltering in the usually safe and zombie-free Earletown, all the nearby police stations in East Chancelwood, north east Raines Hills, north Pashenton, north west Rolt Heights and western Rhodenbank are all inaccessably barricaded. It is adviseable for anyone living in or around Earletown to find someone to teach them Free Running a.s.a.p. or risk finding themselves ammo starved. In other news, zombie sightings are few and far between, Earletown is it's usual dozy self.

August 12th

The mood has changed in the suburb as, all of a sudden, zombies are springing up once more. Not a huge amount that would mean certain change to the danger level as its only the north-west of the suburb thats taking the hits. Clare General Hospital has once again come under-seige from groups of zombies. Many there request for immediate help.

August 9th

The suburb is deserted, of zombies that is. The last couple of days moving round the suburb i have rarely found any zombies. And any zombies found are usual just the single one with, quite rarely, a second one with it. And they are usually close to death to. Break-ins are non-existent. Strongly recommend downgrading danger level to safe.

August 5th

Things are quiet again in the southern quarters of Earletown, Clare General is barricaded again and a pile of bodies adorns the street outside. Etheldreda General has half a dozen zombies in the streets around it, but the rest of southern Earletown is empty of Zeds. The north is just like the south, boasting mostly clear streets.

August 4th

Last night down in south end fire stations and hospitals were broken into by large groups of zombies, the situation is also in the north with Clare General Hospital still under attack. The zombies were repulsed at the cost of several lives and many are wounded. Most zombie groups seem to be attacking at random intervals but even so if the zombies stay around survivors of earletown could be seeing a repeat of this for many nights to come.

August 3rd

Circulating rumours appear to be correct, a large number of zombies (10) has battered it's way in to Clare General Hospital. The south end of Earletown has only a handful of zombies scattered throughout it, lending one to believe Clare General is a singled out and specific target. The other hospitals and fire stations at the south end of Earletown are too heavily barricaded for any character without free running to enter. God save the new survivors in Earletown, because nobody else will.

August 2nd

More and more zeds are beggining to appearing now. There were rumours circulating that a zombie horde is heading to earletown. Backing behind the rumours is that more and more zombies are appearing on the streets. Small groups of 4 or 5 are popping up. Someone please update this news post as developments show.

July

July 29th

The area around Clare General Hospital is essentially vacant of Zeds, the fire stations are empty, and most of the buildings in the area are barricaded to some degree. Things appear quiet and this area is somewhat derelict.

June

June 1st

There is a high number of zombies here,. The situation is particularly bad in the northern half, with many buildings empty and unbarricaded, while any populated buildings quickly attract the attention of the undead, seemingly mostly unorganized and ferals, though the zombie group Drunken Dead has been known to rampage through the area.

The small group of BOW is the dominating element of organized survivor activity in Earletown. They maintain a moderate to high level of order in the south-east quadrant, where they also run the only fully operational revive point in the suburb, at Ames Plaza [79,6].

Survivors in the area are adviced to rest in non-resource buildings, preferably in the SE quadrant.

May

May 7th

The number of zombies in the southern half of the suburb has fallen to 10. The situation in the northern half is not clear, but probably worse than south, so survivors are adviced not to rest in the area.

April

April 21st

There are about 40 zombies in the southern half of the suburb, while survivors number around 60. BOW are maintaining a moderate degree of control in the area, but are unable to drive the zombies away. The situation in the northern half is unknown.

April 13th

The Drunken Dead seem to have left the suburb, but there are still a moderate number of zombies in the area, probably mostly ferals. BOW are trying to regain control.

April 6th

The Drunken Dead are identified as the group responsible for the recent rampage through the suburb. They have attacked almost all the most important buildings, and there are few survivors left. This suburb is not safe.

April 4th

During the last few days a large number of zombies have entered Earletown. At the moment there are at least 35, probably around 50 zombies in the entire suburb, most of them in the western half. Many buildings there have been razed, and several survivors have been killed, but the eastern half has remained mostly untouched, for the time being. Survivors are advised to stay out of the area, at least the western parts.

March

March 30th

BOW now has dedicated supervisors covering about three quarters of the suburb, while closely watching the remaining quarter. Zombie numbers are low, and most buildings are barricaded accordingly to BOWs barricade policy. Earletown is, for the time being, quite safe.

March 2nd

The BOW barricade policy is going well, with many buildings now reinforced up to the plan. Some Earletown survivors have objected to the extremely heavy barricading on tall buildings, but BOW has made attempts to reassure survivors that the plan is low-level friendly and that most buildings in Earletown are barricaded to VS.

February

February 18th

The plans for a new barricade policy have been drawn up by members of BOW. They have come up with what is known as the BOW Suicide Prevention Protocol, and have begun the process of implementing the plan.

February 13th

A tale of two suburbs- The group known as BOW has successfully claimed a large chunk of eastern Earleton in which survivors can live in relative safety. Even the Mobile Phone Mast is up and running. The western side of town remains heavily populated by zombies. Hordes have
