East Boundwood is a suburb of Malton, located in the north of the city and along the easternmost bank of the River Kevan. East Boundwood contains the western half of the Southall Mansion and the northern half of Bale Mall. Prior to the outbreak, East Boundwood was known as one of the less successful suburbs, since urban decay had managed to make much of the land junkyards and wastelands.

August 17th
As a survivor service announcement, I would like to bring to attention the fact that this suburb is currently experiencing a rash of over-barricading at both well-known entry points as well as defacing of posted notices in resource buildings. Most entry points marked on the map and in the official barricade plan are no longer accessible, and numerous lower-level and veteran players have been found trapped outside. Although a certain group of individuals may believe cading every building to EHB will somehow make the suburb safe, I can assure you that this will not work either when there are hundreds of zeds about, or none at all. I have been doing my best to keep entry points open and begun active status reports, but I ask all survivors in East Boundwood to help make this a safe suburb by enforcing the barricade policies noted both here and ingame. Every time survivors try to restore a suburb up, The Dead come in and ruin everything. And this suburb is not an exception. The Sheppard Building, Alphege General, Anastasius General, and St. Jude's Hospital, and Cassell Auto Repair are among the ruined. -- Kittithaj 23:39, 20 May 2011 (BST)

The suburb is reviving, slowly, with several resource centers including the nectrotech building restored. The suburb is almost entirely destroyed with numerous zombies (a couple groups of 10+) roaming near the Mall and the Mansion. The rest of the suburb appears more abandoned than anything else, though, with all of its buildings ruined for an extended period. Dupreem 17:41, 15 May 2011 (BST)

Groups operating in the area
- Good day 'ol chaps. /zom/ has recently relocated to the lovely southall mansion and have opened a revive point at the junkyard north of the lovely mansion. Tea and crumpets are now being surved at 10AM and 2PM daily. beeng

- K is for Komedy were once active in East Boundwood. On arrival we made this declaration— 'Although sharing some common goals with Aesthetic Judgment, we are not to be confused as groups. Aesthetic Judgment are nice people with philosophical motivations to save humanity. Komedians wear clown masks, operate freelance as an experimental mercenary death unit, and will most likely beat you to death with a length of lead piping if you get in our way.' You got confused anyway, and many of you died in a pantomime killfest as a result. We are currently on tour, so— adios, hope you enjoyed the show.
