An army of zergs arrived three days ago to attack the Malton College of Medicine in St Simon's Hospital, and has now grown to 20+. They've taken the hospital and are systematically attempting to exterminate our members from nearby buildings. We suggest other groups avoid engaging. --Squirrelmeyer 15:35 October 19 2015 (UTC)

August 19th

Few zombies, moderate presence of survivors. Few to no ruins and plenty of lit TRPs. --Squirrelmeyer (talk) 15:05 August 19 2015 (UTC)

January 27th

The majority of the TRPs are ruined and heavily barricaded+. Almost no entry point and no Free Running lanes at this point. Mob of 20+ zombies, probably lot of parachuters ruining all the buildings from inside. Dangerous place for everyone at this time. --Scout Dude (talk) 02:37, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Eastonwood is now a WIP as far as getting the buildings in check with the uniform barricade policy. NT buildings will have gennys inside and ready to go by the end of the week. Please do not overcade as this plan is in place for a reason. A new survivor group will be enforcing this policy and if repeat offenders are caught overcading punishment will be death! Thank you and have a wonderful Post Apocalyptic Day!--Demondred6 15:05, 11 October 2011 (BST)

Many key buildings are ruined or occupied with many zombies waiting for a revive. We need more necrotechs, I was killed in a hospital so I cannot assist. Infrastructure is **- while Power is a C+. The same group of zombies who're reducing Shuttlebank to rubble are now operating here, in this strategically important suburb. In better times, it's possible to walk between a Necrotech facilities and still have sight of at least one of the other 5 Necrotech facilities. You can still do that now, but what you see are not bright lights, but plumes of smoke from the wreckage. There's no point in waiting at a revive point anywhere here, except possibly in the extreme western and southern edges: help most certainly won't be coming for a very long time. Survivors have recaptured the Stonnard Building and used it as a base of operation to revive their fallen comrades. However, zombies noticed the lights shining through the snowy sky, and proceeded to crush the last beacon of humanity's hope of the suburb. -- Kittithaj 17:56, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

January 4th

As if fighting the undead is not hard enough, lots of death cultists and human traitors are gathering in dark buildings near central area, taking this chance to attack defending survivors as well. -- Kittithaj 02:32, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

UPDATE: Both St. Anselm's Hospital and St. Simon's Hospital, Malton College of Medicine campus, have fallen. All Necrotech buildings are destroyed as well. The suburb is totally ruined. -- Kittithaj 20:54, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

The Tryme Building has also fallen. With 5 out of 6 Necrotech buildings destroyed, and with 150 zombies total, it's safe to say that the suburb is Very Dangerous. -- Kittithaj 21:32, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

January 1st

Fresh off of destroying Shuttlebank, the Ridleybank Resistance Front have begun to move into Eastonwood. To celebrate the new year members of Team America and the Gore Corps ruthlessly massacred the inhabitants of the Stonnard Building leaving no creature, or object, undefiled. Those fortunate enough to flee the scene fell back further into the suburb to regroup. The group has proceeded to attack the Nettleton Building, which appears as if it will also fall. -- Papa Jadkor (RRF) (MotA) (MT11) 04:36, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

The zerg attack seems to have subsided and the number of safehouses and powered TRPs is rising. Danger level lowered to reflect this new state of affairs. - Mac Howard 00:23, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

November

November 25th

The presumed-zerging Dead Walker group has executed quite a number on the TRPs in the area. I've raised the danger level to reflect the increased zombie presence and higher rate of tactically-significant break-ins. - Mac Howard 11:45, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

November 21st

St. Simon's Hospital (Eastonwood) was zerg rushed yesterday by zombie zergs and parachuters who list the Dead Walker as their group. MCM wishes to thank the legitimate zombie players who have been sieging us for several weeks for the fun and challenge they have presented. MCM enjoys the competition and the fun with our zombie opponents, and we're happy to share cookies and goof off with you. I'm sorry the goofing off will have to end for the time being. MCM does not play or laugh with zergs. Good luck, Eastonwood zambahz. To the many honorable zombies who will not play alongside or cooperate with zergs, and thus are leaving our doorstep, please do return and nom us again. Eastonwood zambahz are the classiest zambahz anywhere, and it's an honor to be your rivals. --Violet Begonia Dean MCM MOB 21:12, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

An additional note: MCM normally warns before combat reviving, but we see no need to do so for a zerger. If any legitimate zombie players get Combat Revived in a situation where we normally would not CR without a warn, you have my apologies. You were lost among the zergs.--Violet Begonia Dean MCM MOB 21:21, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

November 13th

I just scanned all 6 NT buildings in Eastonwood. The scans are available on the NecroWatch page for Eastonwood NecroWatch Eastonwood. The scans show about 48 unique (scanned) zombies in the suburb. As a result of this relatively low number and the many lit and caded buildings, I have downgraded the danger level.

November 12th

A number of buildings are back up and powered. Pooll Crescent Police Department, the Harold Building, the Hosken Building, the Nettleton Building, the Tryme Building, and St. Simon's and St. Anselm's Hospitals are all powered and barricaded. --Vilien 20:20, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

Despite a break-in, Pooll Crescent Police Department remains barricaded and powered. Elers Auto Repair and the Hosken building are barricaded and powered as well. The hospitals in the Northwest are barricaded, but not currently powered. --Vilien 20:32, 16 September 2009 (BST)

September 13th

The center of Eastonwood remains relatively safe. The Harold Building is barricaded, the Nettleton Building is barricaded and powered, as is the Hosken Building. Pooll Crescent Police Department is barricaded and powered.

Note: Over barricading has become more and more of a problem in Eastonwood. The barricade plan is simple and easy to follow. Do not barricade resource buildings about Very Strongly Barricaded. You are killing new players, and you know who you are. Stop doing it. --Vilien 19:09, 13 September 2009 (BST)

Note: I've spent almost all of my time in Urbandead in Eastonwood, and I think I can definitely say that I qualify as a local by now. In my time here, I've seen DEM members and affiliates passing through a maximum of 2-3 times. Have I ever seen them contribute to retaking buildings, or for that matter, has the DEM ever done anything for Eastonwood? Certainly not. To call any DEM group active in Eastonwood is clearly ridiculous, and for that reason, I have removed the Malton Police Department from the active groups list. --Vilien 23:23, 4 August 2009 (BST)

I can see your point about removing the MPD from the list of local survivors. We do have a wide area to cover and it means we often have limited time in any one suburb so we can't be a constant presence. Believe me however, the MPD (and other DEM groups) are active in Eastonwood, right now in fact and many MANY times in the past. I am not putting the MPD back on the list for now as we are discussing changes to how we represent ourselves on the wiki but I wanted it noted that we do work in Eastonwood.--DI Sweeny 13:55, 12 August 2009 (BST)

NecroWatch reported in from the Cheeke, the Coutts, the Tryme, the Harold, the Nettleton & the Stonnard Buildings. The scan revealed 50+ zombies within the scanning range of the facility. These scans were performed over several days, so results vary, however, within the suburb itself numbers were consistantly hovering around 50 zombies; more were found within scan range but over the borders in other 'burbs. Regardless, the greatest concentrations of zeds was as St Simon's with between 22 to 33 zombies and remained so consistently for the last few days at least.

After far more than 2 Years the Eastonwood Ferals decided to disband and to leave the suburb. And as the EF as last active group of the Zombiefied Republic of !zanbah the remaining citizens of the ZRO decided to disband as well. We belive that they and the EF have accomplished all things that can be accomplished in the game of UD. The majority of the EF zombies have visited all suburbs of the city, assisted at least in one successful siege on every Mall there is and accompanied many funny and rewarding events. Of course EF kept tight control the suburb of Eastonwood and made it unsurvivable for all Harmanz for nearly 2 Years against enemys like the Warseers, the Eastonwood Confederation, The Abandoned and all Branches of the DEM just to name a few. --Experiment211 19:09, 21 September 2008 (BST)

Having now investigated a larger sample of the non-resource buildings in the suburb, it's clear that many of them contain 1-2 zombies, which, added to the numbers in my last report, would give a working estimate near or over 60, so I'm changing the danger level back to Very Dangerous. Nearly all the Tactical Resource Points (bar a single hospital, without power) are ruined, and held by small groups of 3-6 zombies each. This includes 6 NecroTech buildings, 2 hospitals, 2 Police Departments and 3 factories. The hospital in the far south of the suburb was not checked. Counting all of those zombies (inside and outside) came to a total of 42. Even assuming a few zombies hiding out in non-TRPs (although a sample check came back empty), this fits the definition of a Ghost Town ("...2/3rds of the suburb's buildings either Empty of Survivors or Ransacked/Ruined AND having no zombie mobs of over 10 and no total zombies over 60"), and so I'm changing the danger level. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 18:58, 15 September 2008 (BST)

All published revive points for the suburb of Eastonwood (Roadnight Walk [30, 21], Masey Drive [34, 26], Postlethwaite Drive [35, 24], Knyps Monument [38, 22], Darke Walk [32, 24]) have been removed except for the two protected by Sacred Ground: St. Chad's cemetery [33,20] and St. Antheros's cemetery [31,26]. The reasoning behind this is that six revive points for one suburb is excessive, and disorganized and inefficient for revivers. Those seeking revives in the eastern end of the suburb are encouraged to use the revive points at the wasteland 43,22 in Brooke Hills or St. Pius's Church (Brooke Hills). --Idril 02:18, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

I did, however, just check out Eastonwood today and it would appear that the majority of ther horde are elsewhere. I spotted less that 40 standing zombies in the suburb. As one would expect, the resource buildings are all open -- with the exception of some pinatas, including ones at the Cheeke and Stonnard NTs. Just a side note... do not go jumping to the conclusion this is a ghost town on the basis of that report. Read the report from last month... then it looked like a ghost town from the outside, too. Having conducted an extensive investigative scouting mission, I will attest that the suburb's current status, Very Dangerous, is correct. The overwhelming majority of structures, including resource buildings, are ruined -- a few buildings I saw are even pinata-ed -- and zombie numbers meet the criteria for a Red suburb, albeit it barely, from what I saw. If you do not believe me, go see for yourself. But if you have a pulse, I advise you to carry a lot of FAKs and be dang quick! ;) --WanYao 19:35, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Let's see, only one usable building, 60 visable Zeds, and no survivors. This is NOT a ghost town. Get real with the defs.
I quote the Suburb Map's legend: "At least 2/3rds of the suburb's buildings either Empty of Survivors or Ransacked/Ruined AND having no zombie mobs of over 10 and no total zombies over 60". I shall be reverting the danger levels back to Ghost Town status. --WanYao 01:39, 7 September 2007 (BST)
Eastonwood is populated by the Eastonwood Ferals and other zombies, if you stay in the suburb you probably get eaten, it is a very dangerous place, but not a ghost-town. Please don't change it back to a ghost-town. --Sgt Milton 17:54, 8 September 2007 (BST)
The original change -- that I did revert once, yes -- should not have been made in the first place. IMO only when an external military report clearly shows low zombie numbers should it be used to change a suburb to "ghost town" status. In some recent cases, such updates have been very appropriate. In Eastonwood they clearly were not, but I was "protecting" the original update (which did have some evidence, even if it was flawed) pending correct information. I hope that explains my actions... --WanYao 15:29, 9 September 2007 (BST)

There is little in the north of Eastonwood but rubble and dead bodies, animated or otherwise. VSB resource buildings, including St Simon's Hospital (33, 21) and St Anselm's Hospital (34, 21), have all been breached by the small hordes of zeds which are scattered pretty much everywhere. The area needs some dedicated manpower if it is to be habitable for survivors; otherwise it's well on it way to being to being a fully air-conditioned and zambah family-friendly real estate development. --WanYao 03:26, 10 August 2007 (BST)

Eastonwood has now for an eleborate length of time been in the hands of zombie forces. It deservedly is a red suburb given the daily zombie activity that quenches each sign of live as it is discovered. Survivor movement has been marginal in the last cupple of weeks, with survivor count dropping to zero every once in a while, probably due to the desolate state of surrounding support areas such as the Bale, Stickling, Calvert and Caiger malls.--Foxfire 12:19, 11 April 2007 (BST)

I will be the first to admit that Eastonwood is in even worse shape then usual, but I do not think it matches the definition of "ghost town" because it is not abandonded .... it is actively being ransacked by active zombies such as yourself and your EF and unknown armies and /b friends faster then the survivors in the area are re-barricading it. Does that make it dangerous? Very. I think a "Very Dangerous" description is more then fair. Does it make it abandoned? I personally don't think so. But if you want to keep it that way for propaganda sake, when Darvell Heights next door is obviously in even worse shape, we can leave it that way. We shoudl probably move any further discussion of this topic to the suburb condition talk page, though, as I think that's the way it's supposed to work. --Capt.Davinos 19:21, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Feburary 10th

There is no functional hospital, factory, NT building or police station in Eastonwood, all resource-buildings are ransacked and hold by zombies. 3/4 of all buildings inside Eastonwood city limits are ransacked and empty. The survivor population is 10 or less. Remember don’t revive zombiespies! --Sgt Milton 19:39, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

You certainly didn't receive a revive from either of the very operational revive points in Eastonwood from one of my my crew, Sgt. Milton. Powering and running resources buildings within the Eastonwood borders has very seldom been a priority for my crew, and certainly isn't now as we try to deal with all the revives from the mall. Barricades are another matter ... ans as the EF page states how much EF forces have been tearing down berriacdes and finding empty buildings, they woudln't have been able to do that if soemone wasn't in the city building them, hm?

Feburary 9th

UPDATE: after more searching I am declaring Eastonwood a GT all building have very little or no barracades and the only hoard I saw was of 11 and about 57 zeds here--Matterfoot 18:22, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Um ... I have intel less then 6 hours old of at least six buildings with HB barriacdes or higher in Eastonwood, and that's just in the corner I recently patrolled ... how much time did you spend patrolling today? Where were you patrolling? And those big stacks of zombies you see? Those are revive queues from the recently fallen Caiger mall that are being actively worked. Notice how they are in the cemetaries?

Now, it may be true that most of the NT's in the neighborhood are currently occupied, but we have to keep those EF and Waxwork people occupied SOMEWHERE while we do our jobs ...

I would still consider Eastonwood D or MAYBE VD ... it has been dangerous for survivors since I got here over a year ago ... but its not abandoned. Look closer please. -- Capt.Davinos 21:15, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Please sign next time, DHG, and there has been more than Malton Ranger presence in the area. Elements of the DEM, The Sun Organization, and others have all been participants. Also, zombies are beginning to return in force to Eastonwood since the survivor hold on the eastern half of the suburb. The numbers have yet to escalate, but that doesn't mean they won't. Eastonwood is going to be contested for some time, but survivors are more than welcome to join the growing numbers of their brethren in the suburb. SuperMario24 22:28, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

January 4th

The western side of the suburb has the majority of the buildings at EHB, with the eastern edge being contested between survivors and zombies. However the general danger level of the suburb is due to a lack of survivor presence not by danger posed by local zombies.

January 3rd

With many buildings barricaded and hardly any zombies in the suburb EF arent doing their job. The suburb danger level should be lowered to yellow at least. Most local survivors have no memory of being raided or even seeing the EF around.

You kidding, Alduck, right? yesterday the UAG kills over 10 PTT members in a swift and precise operation on the west border, only to name one activity. Every day survivors getting killed in Eastonwood, eaten by EF troops. I think your Intel is wrong and dangerous for your fellow survivors --Sgt Milton 23:58, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

The danger level remains very dangerous.

I can speak from a well educated viewpoint to say that half of the suburb is secure, while the other half is not. This was verified through scouting. The secure half has a few zombies, but not in large forces, the largest I witnessed being 3. The the other half is primarily pked consistently, and thus numbers cannot be verified, but barricades are usually destroyed fairly quickly. It definetly warrants a lower from very dangerous to dangerous, at least. That seems a reasonable half-way point.SuperMario24 16:20, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

It is time to party for The Malton Red Berzerk Militia Brigade!! And guess where! There is only one place where it is convenient enough and where you have the right thrill for partying...it is the Pooll Crescent Police Department!!

For several evenings we were cleaning our new party room from the zeds, mainly the stupid Eastonwood Ferals and stayed in there for a while (some hours to even half a day). At some point there were up to ten people in there!! Also thanks to the other guys who joined in!!

Well as you know partying causes some headaches, especially after the angry zed hordes have started to increase from one night to the other and stopped our parties for some not understandable reasons. In the first night we encountered only 6 zeds, than 8 and now 14! As it seems the EF has become a bit worried about its headquarter, hehehehe. All its high ranks have returned to their HQ! Well our members are still suffering from some decent headaches! We cannot really remember ..has it been the alcohol or the cool battles with the EF...??!! Who knows at least now all the party guests participating in it have reached the Malton's hall of heroes' tales!!

But one thing is for sure...The party must go on!! And again...and again...So join in!!

September

September 23rd

After a three day onslaught against the EC from the EF, the Stonnard Building was taken by the menacing Zombah' hord. Survivors put up a valiant battle but were eventually removed from their residence, though all was not lost. The Reavers along with other allied Survivors made their presense known by swiftly moving in to counteract upon the 'out of Ap' EF. Only a handful of the livingly challenged remain which are more than likely sooner, rather than later, going to be forced straight back out aswell. Heads should be held high and smirks should be unveiled, as now the EF have shown the EC what they are truely capable of, now it is the time for the EC to give the EF a demonstration of their abilities...

September 22nd

A DHPD Task Force in the Stonnard NT building, reinforced by allies from several local groups, has for the third day in a row been hit by coordinated attacks of the EF. The two previous attacks caused many casualties but the defenders held. The aftermath of today's attack is yet to be seen.

September 16th

Survivor groups have managed to clean and hold a lot of the periphery of the burb and when breakins do occur there they get quickly patched. Survivor numbers are somewhat steady. The EF however still hold their claim over central Eastonwood, where barricadings do occur they are fairly quick razed again. Mostly Sunny, some rain.

August

August 24th

The weather has been relatively sunny of late. With the Eastonwood Ferals out of time, survivor groups have managed to clean up a lot of the central parts of the burb. While breakins do occur they are further between and quickly patched. Survivor numbers are up. In many ways this is a calm before the storm, as the EF will soon return. But it would seem the survivor groups of Eastonwood are cooperating more this time around.

July

July 21th

Typhoon season in Eastonwood, with the efforts of the EF and the very close hordes of the Big Bash and troops from the most recent attacks on Caiger, the suburb lies in ruins. It harbours an estimated 30 living souls. Survivors must strengthen their efforts to retake it now!

April

April 24th

The weather in Eastonwood continues to worsen for survivors, as the Eastonwood Ferals fight for their right to eat brains. Many DEM members and other survivor groups like the Warseers don't acknowledge that right, but so far, the defence of the suburb has remained highly inefficient. Barricade levels are dropping all over, and there are not enough survivors to keep them at the designated levels. Abandoned houses with doors wide open are not a rare sight. Eastonwood is no area for the faint of heart, but for those wishing to partake in an epic struggle against groaning zombie hoards, it is just the right spot.

April 9th

The cloudy to rainy condition of the suburb, the past few weeks, begins to settle in as most residents leave the place until the rain clears and it is safe to return. Nonetheless DEM members, in relentless effort, aid and secure safe houses within Eastonwood to hasten its reconstruction. Warseers, Gangsta Business and Pathetic Bill still fight territorial wars, but as they bind each others resources danger for other survivors can be expected to be relatively low. Chance of rain: 60%

March

March 26th

Eastonwood is now under an extensive siege from the Eastonwood Ferals They have been co-ordinating attacks all over Eastonwood, and seem to most enjoy sieging resource buildings. When seen attacking, it is sugguested you only put up resistance if you are among large numbers of survivors. If not, get out and move to an alternative safehouse.

Eastonwood is now under a somewhat mild intermittent siege from the Eastonwood Ferals They have been co-ordinating attacks all over Eastonwood, and seem to most enjoy sieging NT buildings, hospitals, and safehouses. When seen attacking, it is sugguested you only put up resistance if you are among large numbers of survivors. If not, get out and move to an alternative safehouse.

Low zombie activity continues. Many core buildings are fully barricaded, and zombies are mostly only seen in small packs at most. No known major zombie activity.

Low zombie activity in Eastonwood, go out and purge the surrounding suburbs! Sunny.
