History

Esgar Auto Repair was originally opened by Esgar E. Williams in October of 1978. As it was the only auto repair shop in Roywood, Esgar enjoyed moderate success with his business. He continued to own and manage the shop right up until the outbreak, in the summer of 2005. He quickly barricaded himself inside his shop after hearing news of the strange occurrences happening throughout Malton on Channel 5's local news coverage. He remained safe inside his building until a horde of zombies followed an employee of Channel 5 back to his safe house inside Garson Towers. After the zombies ravaged what remained of the news team inside the towers, they moved to the surrounding buildings and began to tear at the barricades to get inside. The auto repair shop was the last of the adjacent buildings to fall, as Esgar had an abundance of raw materials with which to reinforce his barricades with. But alas, the zombies were relentless, and Esgar had to sleep sometime. He was devoured in his sleep on October 8, 2005 - coincidentally enough, the same day he opened his shop back in '78.

  • In early January of 2006, members of F.R.E.E.Z.E. converted Esgar Auto Repair into a VSB safehouse for the protection of their members who had yet to master the art of Free Running. It's location provided easy access to the supplies inside the Hospitals and Police Department nearby.
  • In early March of 2006, after group discussions regarding how to handle the corpse problem in Roywood, F.R.E.E.Z.E. decided the best solution would be to pursue franchise opportunities with McZeds. They chose Esgar Auto Repair as the location, as it is centrally located in Roywood, providing the least amount of travel required to drag the corpses unprocessed food product in - as well as being a quick trip for the denizens of Roywood to enjoy the delicious food served at McZeds.
  • As of 18 May, Esgar Auto Repairs appeared to be Extremely Heavily Barricaded, rendering it impossible for survivors without the Free Running skill to enter...
