Description

Having been closed for what is now more than a decade, the wire fencing surrounding the building completely collapsed, and much of it has been cut away and used as barricading material. There are still many dagger-like pieces of metal to be found, and survivors are expected to wear thick footwear and watch their step.

History

Built in 1999, this building shaped steel rods from Shaft & Balzac inc. into hooks, intended to be inserted into a wall and used to hang things such as pictures and shelves. These were named 'Hitler Hooks', and according to the marketing, 'the power of the third Reich can hold up whatever you can hang up.' Consumers were not impressed, and when Billy Mays began to advertise Hercules Hooks, sales dropped to almost nothing. The company soon went under, and in the end, sold more Hitler Hooks for scrap metal than for use.
