Basic Info:

  • This is an empty block, and cannot be barricaded.

Description

Fathers Drive is so-named because it was where the priests of St. Ethelbert's would take the parish's official motorcar (an Austin 7/4 in sober black) for a test drive after having it serviced at Frye's, the nearby car workshop. Coincidentally the Drive led directly to a popular local pub.

Given their inexperience in driving internal combustion-powered vehicles (preferring bicycles for transport), and their experience in drinking a pre-drive pint or two, the unfortunate Fathers often found themselves being towed straight back to the workshop after driving directly into a wall, horse or small child.
