This group has has been disbanded.

Tired of wasting AP searching for FAKs? Tired of worrying about getting cured before that infection turns you back into the living dead? Tired of waiting for some good Samaritan to randomly help you? Then look no further! General Hospital is here to help! If you are in the Judgewood area, we are currently running the hospital, St. Wilfred's Hospital. But of course, we are always prepared to send out medics if need be.

General Hospital Information

General Hospital was originally led by Dr. Mullins. He stayed behind in Malton after the evacuation at the beginning. Before the zombies, he worked at Maria General Hospital but roamed around searching for survivors who needed healing. But finding that just roaming around with FAKs in tow was not efficient enough. So, returning to the hospital, he began looking for people to help him provide a more organized offensive for healing and founded General Hospital. Later, after a long and successful administration, he left to form Techcom. Soon one of General Hospital's other members Norman Bates (with Dr. Mullins' kind permission) succeeded Dr. Mullins and took over as Chief of Staff. Bates is working on some changes (a promotion of Mason Westra, an ad in the recruitment section updating this page and some other things).

Our Promise

  1. No patient, aside from known PKers and GKers, will be turned away.
  2. A doctor will always be present (short of zombie attack)

Operations

  1. Barricades should be kept at very strong so that patients without free running can get help.
  2. The hospital should remain powered as long as possible to ensure healing is very efficient to reduce the number of FAKs needed.

Former Staff

  1. [Doctor Mullins]: Original Chief of Staff
  2. [Mason Westra]
  3. [Doctor Lame]
  4. [Merrin P]
  5. [ElleDriver]
  6. [Jack Rabbit Slims]
  7. [Norman Bates]: The Last Chief of Staff
  8. [Cheese"Burger]:

Updates

June 19, 2006: Dr. Mullins begins searching for First Aid Kits in a hospital. A field hospital location has been decided upon and established.
June 20, 2006: General Hospital gets its first member!
July 2, 2006: General Hospital welcomes its newest doctor, Merrin P. After being killed by a zombie, Dr. Mullins has been revived and back in action at the Maria General Hospital.
July 5, 2006: The hospital came under attack but the barricades came back up and the zombies pushed back.
July 6, 2006: After being revived, Dr. Mullins found that his hospital had been barricaded to the point he couldn't get in since he didn't have free running. Until then, refuge has been taken in a nearby hospital. In somewhat related news, ElleDriver joined General Hospital today.
July 8, 2005: Maria General Hospital has currently been compromised. Recovery is in process.
July 12, 2006: Operations have moved from Maria General Hospital to St. Wilfred's, near Brentnall Grove Police Department until further notice. If no doctor is present, head to police department. Chances are, one of us will be there. Just say you're looking for a doctor from General Hospital.
August 8, 2006: After the long awaited revival, Dr. Mullins moves back into the surrounding area around St. Wilfrid's Hospital.
September 10, 2006: Operations continue on. Regrouping is in process as well.
November 22, 2006: Judgewood is no longer safe. Last night a large zombie group overran the Brentnall Grove Police Department and there are mass infestations throughout the suburb. It may be advisable that newer players emigrate to a different suburb due to overbarricading and strong zombie presence. The status of St. Wilfred's is unknown to this author and may not be secure. Due to the likelihood that the reader may have been recently slain, by zombie or by PKer, I feel that it is also necessary to report that revive points have become extremely unreliable and there will be a long line ahead of you. Happy Thanksgiving!
December 03, 2006 This is Norman Bates, I am currently located in Bargery Square. I have been dead for a while now and no-one has revived me yet, and I am requesting a revive. As soon as possible plz revive me. If I look identical to all the other zombies add me to your contact list (using the profile link) so that you will be able to recognize me, thx.
January 18, 2007 This is Norman Bates again, and I have been worried that many members of this group (including Justin Mullins) are no longer active members and appreciate it our members would simply go to the discussion page in order to verify that they are still active so that we could discuss this matter. With that said, it is certainly possible that I am wrong in my assumptions and I apoligize if that is the case.
January 28, 2007 Ten days ago Norman'Bates posted the above message, and yesterday Dr. Mullins released the following message: Hi all. I don't know if any of you still remember me, but I was the leader of General Hospital way back when. Truth be told, the group is no longer active, but I just happened to randomly check the group page on Wiki and saw it was still up. Though I no longer actively run it, I do have another group that I'm in charge of called TechCom. If any of you would like to switch over to TechCom and regroup with me in Darvall Heights (I'll tell you where more specifically if you do), please email me. After discussing the matter with Dr. Mullins, Bates was appointed the new leader of General Hospital.

June 15, 2007: Norman'Bates has declared General Hospital disbanded.
