Userboxes and journalbox

This seems to be the place to ask for help regarding templates. On this page, I would like to stack my journal box on top of anyuser boxes that I choose to add. If you can help, go ahead and edit the page, and leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

Anytime I want to make a column on the right side of the screen, I place the following code:
{| align="right"
| stuff to align
|}
Hope that helps --SirensT RR 21:23, 30 April 2006 (BST)
Oh, to adjust that table as you see fit, the Help:Tables page should be useful--SirensT RR 21:24, 30 April 2006 (BST)
I think that Journalbox has a width of 35% so putting it any container like a table cell will probably cause it to appear shorter in width than the userboxes which have fixed widths (ie. it will take up 35% of the width of the table cell rather than 35% of width of the entire page). Might require either editing the Journalbox template or using a homemade Journalbox table. --Lint 21:31, 30 April 2006 (BST)
Perhaps we could simply modify the journal box to a fixed width? --SirensT RR 21:34, 30 April 2006 (BST)
That's crazy talk! --Lint 21:54, 30 April 2006 (BST)
Never said I was sane ;) --SirensT RR 22:03, 30 April 2006 (BST)
I've tenatively janged the journalbox width to 200. I don't know, would it be better to be 180? I think it should be the same size as userboxes, but they aren't standardized. Should there be a standard?

Well, I tried that, and it got a little better, but it still isn't working. You can look here to see its current status. If you can think of any improvements, that would be swell!

It looks fine to me. --SirensT RR 01:49, 1 May 2006 (BST)
Well, that it does. I swear that the templates are conspiring against me. Oh well. Thanks for the help everyone.

I've done it again

On my user page, I've set up a bunch of userboxes with the align right stuff. However, the boxes refuse to stack nicely. Any ideas. (And if it magically resolves after I post, I'll kill it.)

It's the Hypnotoad template. I'll try to fix the template... --Brizth mod T W! 00:00, 3 May 2006 (BST)
I'm having the same problem trying to get my Propaganda and NoPropaganda templates to work- they keep colliding with the ones below them. Ideas, help? --Boris 19:06, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Unwanted example image

I have been trying to figure this out but just can't get it. I can't get rid of the example image in the Mall Rat template (or even work out why it's there) http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Template:Mallrat Any help would be appreciated.--DI Sweeny 16:04, 9 July 2010 (BST)

I've fixed it for you. Your original codding was: {{UserTemplate|headertext='''I'm a Mallrat'''|maintext=I've visited Calvert Mall, Bale Mall, Treweeke Mall, Caiger Mall, Stickling Mall, Ackland Mall, Giddings Mall, Mitchem Mall, Blesley Mall, Lumber Mall, Joachim Mall, Marven Mall, Tompson Mall, Pole Mall and Buckley Mall [[Image:Mallrat.gif|125px]]}}.
I've fixed it to {{UserTemplate|image=Mallrat.gif|imagewidth=125px|headertext='''I'm a Mallrat'''|maintext=I've visited Calvert Mall, Bale Mall, Treweeke Mall, Caiger Mall, Stickling Mall, Ackland Mall, Giddings Mall, Mitchem Mall, Blesley Mall, Lumber Mall, Joachim Mall, Marven Mall, Tompson Mall, Pole Mall and Buckley Mall}}, with the bold text indicating what I've added. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 16:10, 9 July 2010 (BST)
