Judgewood is a suburb of Malton, located in the northwest of the city. [2, 2] On the city map. The town center around Perceval NT, Brentnall Grove PD and the old "Teafort" Junkyard has long been home to The Grove who have traditionally kept Judgewood a safe suburb for new players to level up in. As of August, 2009 the Soldiers of Crossman has moved in as well to begin their work in uniting North-West here in Judgewood. Following the Halloween 2009 siege by the zombie group Extinction, Judgewood Vector Control has been playing a key role in restoring Judgewood's buildings and keeping the residents safe.

Radio and Cell Phone

AquaRadio.jpg

The local radio frequency for communication in Judgewood is 26.02 MHz. This is also the frequency for all of District NW-2, which includes Dakerstown, Jensentown, Quarlesbank and Roywood. Please keep radios tuned to this frequency for important news and information about events and happenings in the local area. Other frequencies used by groups based in the area are 26.43 MHz (used by the Soldiers of Crossman), and 26.86 MHz (used by Judgewood Vector Control).

The transmitter for the Maltel cell-phone network is located in the MacCarthy Building, which should be kept powered and at EHB at all times. Access is via Higgin Square Fire Station one block west, which is a designated entry point kept at VSB+2.

Entry Points

The current entry points for survivors and safehouses for lower level survivors without free running (near resource buildings) are:

  • Colglough Library [15,11]
  • Cridge Alley Railway Station [16,14]
  • Veresmith Boulevard School [16,16]
  • St. Basil's Church [15,19]
  • St. Arnold's Church [11,12]

There maybe others in the suburb and although entry points are reliable they may be overbarricaded on occasion. Alternatively see the Judgewood Barricade Plan for details on other entry points and locations.

Judgewood North has fallen with the Judgewood Vector Control, the Big Prick and various other town defenders either succumbing to the virus or fleeing dreadful scenes of Zombie carnage simply too horrifying to describe. All current residents are advised to either flee south or reinforce the defensive lines forming around Ludlow NT and Edmund Hospital in Southeast Judgewood.--Zeug 21:21, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

The persistent Extinction presence in the suburb has been reinforced by a growing number of feral zombies wandering in from the east. Extinction in a coordinated series of attacks spearheaded by the elusive SHADOW COMPANY have finally ruined Perceval NT and slaughtered the 50+ defenders inside Brentnall PD. The town's northern TRP's are under attack with both Wilfrid and Maria Hospitals falling and zombies spreading out to the remaining safehouses. Residents are advised to be vigilant and maintain their barricades as the suburb is now at Orange Alert.--Zeug 04:41, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

External Military: "... leaving Judgewood, counted maybe seventy outside ... mostly just small groups ... several buildings with power ... only a few buildings damaged ... the Peet Building has power ... the Perceval Building is out of action ..." Laitaine 06:29, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

External Military: "... leaving Judgewood, counted about sixty outside ... mostly just small groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... infrastructure looks intact ... the Peet Building has power ..." Laitaine 15:03, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

As the New Year arrives the people of Judgewood, both longtime residents and recent arrivals, have managed to fight Extinction to a standstill. What at first was a daily struggle has settled into more of a daily routine. There are occasional break-ins at the Perceval building which seems to be the focus of attention, however the building is always quickly rebarricaded and the dead are then forcibly removed. More concerning to the people are Judgewood are the fighting in the East that seems to be making its way here. Zombified refugees are appearing in increasing numbers in Eastern Judgewood. Judgewood Vector Control is encouraging anybody with the necessarily skills to start reviving any zombies that have useful skills so as to keep the stacks managable, and to update the Judgewood Zombie Report with any information of DNA scanned zombies so that others can better coordinate their efforts.
