History

In 1977 a car crashed into the junkyard, then exploded. The car contained the dead bodies of two female students from Kirwan Alley School. The car was unmanned. The two police officers who first touched the car began to mutate horribly in the hours after contact, and photos of them in the hospital sparked controversy, ending when one died and the other escaped, the search for the living being much akin to that of an aging porn star; he is believed to live in San Fransisco and has written letters to many newspapers talking about his new life. Three books have been written about the subject, and two TV movies, one in 1981 and miniseries in 1999. A movie made by Ron Howard is set for a 2011 release. Previously Lloyd Kaufman produced "Car Massacre Mutation" in 2001,and a Japanese film entitled "Shore Hill Slaughter Monsters" was released straight to video in 2008.
