It is widely recognised that all junkyards in Malton have already been cut open. Searching junkyards will yield a wide variety of different items, including crowbars, mobile phones, flak jackets, fire axes, pistol clips, shotgun shells, spraycans and fuel cans, mixed in with the far less desirable baseball bats, books, knives, pipes and newspapers. Junkyards can be barricaded, but have no doors to shut.

History

The Lamport Hills Incident

Despite the attempts of the Fenwyk Plaza Police Department, this Junkyard had a large homeless community in early 1986. The Depression that Malton faced put many out of work and onto the streets. Officers would regularly clear the yard out only for it to be filled the next day. Its location at the city borders provided an endless source of food for the squatters; small wild animals. Rabies was not an uncommon occurrence in this area.

NecroTech's introduction to the area brought many of the unfortunates back into work, leaving the junkyard in an emptier state than usual. Many others were unable to work due to poor health, however, and as the years went by slowly became unable to be hired. The majority of the population began to die as the years went on. Those who were able to reach St Adalbert's were written off as sufferers of rabies and died waiting for treatment. Many of the homeless that made it to St Adalbert's were victim to organ theft for illegal activities.
