Kempsterbank is a suburb of Malton, located in the southern area of the city. The Knights Templar have been vested with the responsibility of the defense, and revival of the living population in the area from the original settlers of the suburb since July 2006.

In August of 2007, Detulux Inc migrated to the suburb to fill their new warehouse complex with weapons for zombie defense.

In August 2008, an organized group of zombies, the St. Ferreol's Hospital Noise Abatement Society arose and have been ruining the nearby blocks and eating breathers ever since.

In December of 2008, Dr. Steel's Toy Soldiers commandeered a factory and warehouse in southwest Kempsterbank and can be heard sending out intermittent informative radio broadcasts.

In January of 2009, the Boardsies arrived and settled in a small motel in the northern section of the 'burb, and can be often found having a drink, and sending out helpful PSAs.

Throughout 2010 Kempsterbank became the perfect location for low level players; the resident undead population in the North East meant there were always opportunities to gain zombie killing experience, and the regular strikes on survivor held TRP's meant that baby zombies were never more than a few blocks from the nearest feeding groan.

Seems to be a bit of a siege situation forming at St. Ferreols Hospital. Survivors have held it since the 12th. Today there is a group of 18 zeds outside. - Roddy Winters 01:55, 16 September 2011 (BST)

August 28th

25.96 MHz: "... can see a couple of dozen on the streets of Kempsterbank ... mostly just small groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ..."

Only a dozen or so zombies out on the streets because the majority are sitting inside ruined buildings. Both PDs are still down, Though Julie General and Jillard NT are standing but unpowered. Several buildings including Whitenoll have survived giving shelter to the embattled survivors. The Eastern Half remains in flux, trading hands on a semi-daily basis, though the Western Half is has some lite activity. -JD 00:40, 29 August 2011 (BST)

August 19th

Multiple ruined buildings and 40+ standing zombies in the NE region. Ebbutt Road revive point mostly clear. Lights off in Jillard NT. --MillaD 00:19, 19 August 2011 (BST)

25.96 MHz: "... thirty or so in Kempsterbank ... maybe a dozen outside Burdett Way Police Dept ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... only a few buildings damaged though ... power's on at the Dobbs Building ..."
The military status report would disagree with that last pro-zombie news update. While there has been a huge influx of zombies, many of them wearing "The Dead" tags, probing the various resource buildings, most recently Burdett PD. Recovery is fast enough, with the exception of St F's, that the buildings is usually recovered and powered within a day of sacking. There are only about three ruins by my daily count, and both NTs are still powered. -- JD 17:00, 19 August 2011 (BST)
Remember kids EMRP don't count zombies inside buildings. It's pretty safe, but I'd watch out for the daily break ins. --"Workshed" 17:13, 19 August 2011 (BST)
Pretty much what Ross said. I manually counted 41 zombies; I can take screenshots next time if its an issue. The next time I make a more localized report, though, I'll make sure to specify that the rest of the suburb is probably still as the last report described it. Will also make sure to note the speed or slowness of building turnaround - you're right that it's a necessary piece of info to properly interpret zombie influence. --Jen 23:08, 19 August 2011 (BST)
Of course it is common knowledge that EMRP don't count inside, which is why I double checked with the STILL Powered Jillard NT Necronet, and still counted less than 40 Ross, and don't call people kids, it's very condescending. I'm not trying to be a wiki-dick here, but I just found it suspicious that it jumps from about 20 to over 40 in one day. Also, no need for screenshots we're still on the honor system I hope. And I'm sorry Jen for sounding overzealous, with buildings having their doors kicked in on a daily basis I'm on edge. Lastly, I've been seeing enough activity from The Dead around the burb, along with the EMRP said that the 'burb should be raised to Moderately Dangerous.-- JD 01:20, 20 August 2011 (BST)
No problem.  :) And I'll leave the danger-status changes to you survivor types...I'm usually clueless about the exact status of the suburb as a whole. (Also, doesn't the NecroNet only count scanned zombies that haven't changed their coordinates since being scanned? I swear I read it on one of these wiki pages, but I can't find the darn thing again). --Jen 21:24, 20 August 2011 (BST)

August 18th

Increased breakins and ruinings in the NE, likely due to an influx of feral zombies. 20+ standing zombies in the NE/St. Ferreol's area. The rest of Kempsterbank appears secure, as below. --MillaD 17:23, 18 August 2011 (BST)

August 10th

25.96 MHz: "... streets are looking clear in Kempsterbank ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... some survivor activity in the Jillard Building ..."

It's been a roller coaster year for Kempsterbank, with zombies swarms having trashed the suburb only a month before, but the survivors have rebounded as of late. For the last month th ere hasn't been more than 8 zombies standing in a block at the local hotspots of Neot and St Ferreol's hospitals and never more than 12 total on scans usually single ferals passing through.

Every building inside the suburb has s Generator and all but a few have a Radio inside, and the biggest problem facing survivors is keeping them all lit.

Revive lines are clear, with a turn around of under a day. Barricade levels are also very stable, with very few deviations from the established barricade plan. -- JD 03:30, 11 August 2011 (BST)
