Horde of 24 outside Julie General Hospital, which has been under siege for several days. Lights are currently on and building remains as EHB, but it is unknown how long that will remain true. Approach with caution.--Gauze Tape 07:42, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

September

September 13th

This may violate the NPOV rules, but I'd appreciate it if people in Kempster could keep an eye out for The Legendary Broly. He is a PKer wearing Knights Templar tags in his profile. Everyone should know that he is NOT affiliated with the KT in any way shape or form. Thank you.-Roddy Winters 04:31, 14 September 2012 (BST)

September 11th

The circle continues, with a minor Zombie Renaissance. St Ferreol's has 7 gorgeous zombies inside, and SFHNAS are even back on the Stats page. Further afield the KT shore up defences and are keeping most of the rest of the suburb safe. --I'm not the Ross UDWiki needs, I'm the Ross it deserves. 21:30, 11 September 2012 (BST)

July 7th

25.96 MHz: "... twenty or so in Kempsterbank ... maybe a dozen outside St Ferreol's Hospital ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Dobbs Building is being held ..."

The zombies have been turned on thier heels, both NTs are safe and all the area around them are lit, and few places are without both a generator and radio including St Ferreol's. Standing zombies number less than ten at any point as most are shot as soon as they stand. Revive points are clear, and the only action to be had is still at St Ferreol's with daily break in. -- JD 06:39, 7 July 2012 (BST)

June 21th

25.96 MHz: "... a couple of dozen in Kempsterbank ... maybe a dozen outside Julie General Hospital ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... only a few buildings damaged ... the Dobbs Building is operational ..."

Same situation, different day. The Jillard nine block is still under attack with the NT changing hands periodically. Focus is now on Julie hospital. St Ferreol's is still rotting, and the western area is still under populated but often lit and safe. -- JD 17:01, 21 June 2012 (BST)

June 14th

25.96 MHz: "... twenty or so in Kempsterbank ... maybe a dozen outside the Jillard Building ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... only a few buildings damaged though ... power's on at the Dobbs Building ..."

Survivors have been turned on their heels as of late, with a major PKing war distracting the major groups in the area, and the local zombie mob have capitalized with a move to assert their claim on the hospital. Battles have shifted since most of the St Ferreol's nine block was ruined, towards the major NT to the south. Eleven have posted outside and continue to break in and douse and lights inside. Kempsterbank regulars keep up the pressure but until the rampant PKing ends, lone survivors are going to feel. -- JD 00:00, 15 June 2012 (BST)

May 17th

25.96 MHz: "... reporting from Kempsterbank, I've got maybe a dozen active ... mostly just small groups ... lights are on across the suburb ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Jillard Building has power ..."

A light at the end of the tunnel appears in Kempsterbank. At just under a week later, the whole area has rebounded at last count, only nine zombies were standing with six of those at the notorious St Ferreol's hospital. Most of the area is lit and each building in the suburb has a generator and radio.

PKing has dropped off, but sadly, Pole Mall has fallen to an unknown semi-organized zombie group. -- JD 03:44, 17 May 2012 (BST)

25.96 MHz: "... reporting from Kempsterbank, I've got thirty or so active ... a horde of twenty or so outside St Ferreol's Hospital ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Jillard Building is being held ..."

After a bit of a lull, strong activity has returned to the St Ferreol's Hospital area. Twenty-one were found standing outside the hospital at one point, with around four attacking nearby Nunn Row FS, and the rest of the zombies either simply passing through, or waiting for a revive after a recent strike on the hospital.

There are a few instances of PKing, but none that threaten players not in an established group.

Pole Mall is stands tall in the south, but is often understaffed and borderline empty. --JD 20:00, 11 May 2012 (BST)

25.96 MHz: "... Kempsterbank looks clear ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Dobbs Building is being held ..."

Mostly spread out, and never more than two or three in number, a handful of zombies have been spotted at a few northern resource buildings. The Bonard building was recently pinata'd, but has been repaired. Lights are popping up across the suburb. --JD 05:57, 1 May 2012 (BST)

25.96 MHz: "... reporting from Kempsterbank, I've got twenty or so active ... a few outside St Ferreol's Hospital ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... some survivor activity in the Jillard Building ..."

The battle continues, and the St. Ferreol's Squad have returned to St Ferreol's one again. Undead numbers are not nearly as strong since their accumulated unaffiliated ferals have moved on, or been picked off after scattering into the rest of the suburb. The hospital continues to be the center of action though several of the area's fire stations seem to have become an increased zombie priority. Recently roaming zombie groups have been attacking both of the closest malls of Pole and Woodroffe. Survivors will depend increasingly on suburb resources at PDs and Hospitals. --JD 19:25, 15 April 2012 (BST)

April 3rd

25.96 MHz: "... reporting from Kempsterbank, I've got maybe a dozen active ... mostly just small groups ... lights are on across the suburb ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Jillard Building has power ..."

The weeks have rolled on and, after some bouts with overbarricading, peace has come to Kempsterbank. The hotspot at St Ferreol's is cooling with no standing zombies outside its doors. Survivors were left holding the bag when the resident zombies abruptly left for a vacation, but will now probably begin the work of lighting all the suburb's empty generators now. Young zombies are left without a place for a bite to eat, and shooters in training are left without target practice. The windows may rumble with power once more, but the streets are sorely bereft of shuffling. --JD 05:25, 3 April 2012 (BST)

March

25.96 MHz: "... reporting from Kempsterbank, I've got about forty active ... a horde of twenty or so outside Julie General Hospital ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Jillard Building is being held ..."

After surviving a rough couple of weeks during an RRF invasion, survivors have rebounded, but remaining zombies have also redoubled their efforts. A core group of left overs from the RRF's attack, perhaps alts left behind for extra fun, mixed with SFNAS regulars have organized into attacking Central Kempsterbank centered on the Jillard Building. As recently as yesterday, the main force counted as high as thirty split their strength and unsuccessfully attacked Julie General, and though neither were able to be ruined, survivors casualties were significant. On a brighter note, St Ferreol's Hosptials has been safe for the second longest time on record, a handful of break-ins but no real effort to retake yet. --JD 18:00, 1 March 2012 (UTC)

December

December 28th

25.96 MHz: "... Kempsterbank looks clear ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Dobbs Building is being held ..." Looking back, the year has been pretty turbulent, with massive swings in control of the suburb. There were times when for weeks the 'burb stood entirely empty as a total ruin, save for the last several weeks when light shinned through all the barricades holding strong. Many new players started off their UD careers clogging the streets at key areas. The Noise Police, continue their assault on St Ferreol's but survivors manage to repel the break ins before a beachhead can be gained. -- JD 04:05, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

November

November 15th

25.96 MHz: "... streets are looking clear in Kempsterbank ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Jillard Building is being held ..." It's been another week with little to no change, barricade levels are steady, and the PK rate has gone down. Club Crook was ruined however, when several trepidations zeds shambled away from the heavily guarded St Ferret's hospital and took down the club. -- JD 04:22, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

November 8th

25.96 MHz: "... Kempsterbank looks clear ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact ... the Dobbs Building is being held ..." The streets are clear, the generators are humming, and lvl 1 survivors abound. Kempsterbank's action has ebbed, and any zombies wandering in are quickly pounced upon, tagged, and put down by multiple survivors. Not even the the resident zombies are having much luck taking back their hospital. -- JD 09:25, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

Kempster seems clear as a bell zed wise. A couple SFHNAS trying to get back in, but the hospital remains in survivor hands since Oct. 20 or so.-Roddy Winters 23:48, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

October

October 22nd

25.96 MHz: "... streets are looking clear in Kempsterbank ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... can't see a single ruined building ... the Jillard Building is being held ..." It's a new dawn in Kempsterbank, after a two week long siege of Julie General Hospital, which traded hands at several points, the survivors have come out on top. With the siege broken the number of zombies have dwindled to only 3 standing bodies in the entire suburb with several piles that are reducing on a daily basis as what ferals remain move on to better feeding grounds. Also of note is the recently recaptured Pole Mall has gained a large influx of PKers, striking anyone inside its walls. And lastly Generators and Radio Transmitters seem to have targets on them as the many empty building mysteriously go dark. --JD 23:33, 22 October 2011 (BST)

About 40 or so zeds in the suburb but still home to a large number of survivors. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Radio (talkcontribs) 04:29, 19 October 2011 (BST).

October 11th

Still a few zeds around Jillard / Julie General as per usual. West side of K-bank was mostly clear and caded. The southern buildings around Pole Mall may be catching some spillover from the recent zed group that tore through recently, but I cannot confirm anything personally. - Roddy Winters 00:36, 12 October 2011 (BST)

October 2nd

"... twenty or so in Kempsterbank ... mostly just small groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... only a few buildings damaged ... power's on at the Dobbs Building ..."

The numbers in K-bank are slowly tapering off but the the action is still strong. Hot spots are usually centered around Jillard and Julie, and the St. Ferret's 9-block. What few roamers wander in are usually picked off by the random locals. Power is on in most buildings, and almost all of those also have transmitters inside of them. Revive lines are usually clear with at most 1 or 2 swaying after an overnight break-in. --JD 22:44, 2 October 2011 (BST)

Many buildings in the NE sector of this suburb are being under sieged. Est. 20 zombies in the NE sector. Survivor has been able to defend the remaining building thanks to reinforcement from Pole Mall and also the presence of Survivor groups in buildings which they're defending. --LaskarPelari 22:30, 24 September 2011 (CXT)

August

August 28th

25.96 MHz: "... can see a couple of dozen on the streets of Kempsterbank ... mostly just small groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ..."

Only a dozen or so zombies out on the streets because the majority are sitting inside ruined buildings. Both PDs are still down, Though Julie General and Jillard NT are standing but unpowered. Several buildings including Whitenoll have survived giving shelter to the embattled survivors. The Eastern Half remains in flux, trading hands on a semi-daily basis, though the Western Half is has some lite activity. -JD 00:40, 29 August 2011 (BST)

August 19th

Multiple ruined buildings and 40+ standing zombies in the NE region. Ebbutt Road revive point mostly clear. Lights off in Jillard NT. --MillaD 00:19, 19 August 2011 (BST)

25.96 MHz: "... thirty or so in Kempsterbank ... maybe a dozen outside Burdett Way Police Dept ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... only a few buildings damaged though ... power's on at the Dobbs Building ..."
The military status report would disagree with that last pro-zombie news update. While there has been a huge influx of zombies, many of them wearing "The Dead" tags, probing the various resource buildings, most recently Burdett PD. Recovery is fast enough, with the exception of St F's, that the buildings is usually recovered and powered within a day of sacking. There are only about three ruins by my daily count, and both NTs are still powered. -- JD 17:00, 19 August 2011 (BST)
Remember kids EMRP don't count zombies inside buildings. It's pretty safe, but I'd watch out for the daily break ins. --"Workshed" 17:13, 19 August 2011 (BST)
Pretty much what Ross said. I manually counted 41 zombies; I can take screenshots next time if its an issue. The next time I make a more localized report, though, I'll make sure to specify that the rest of the suburb is probably still as the last report described it. Will also make sure to note the speed or slowness of building turnaround - you're right that it's a necessary piece of info to properly interpret zombie influence. --Jen 23:08, 19 August 2011 (BST)
Of course it is common knowledge that EMRP don't count inside, which is why I double checked with the STILL Powered Jillard NT Necronet, and still counted less than 40 Ross, and don't call people kids, it's very condescending. I'm not trying to be a wiki-dick here, but I just found it suspicious that it jumps from about 20 to over 40 in one day. Also, no need for screenshots we're still on the honor system I hope. And I'm sorry Jen for sounding overzealous, with buildings having their doors kicked in on a daily basis I'm on edge. Lastly, I've been seeing enough activity from The Dead around the burb, along with the EMRP said that the 'burb should be raised to Moderately Dangerous.-- JD 01:20, 20 August 2011 (BST)
No problem.  :) And I'll leave the danger-status changes to you survivor types...I'm usually clueless about the exact status of the suburb as a whole. (Also, doesn't the NecroNet only count scanned zombies that haven't changed their coordinates since being scanned? I swear I read it on one of these wiki pages, but I can't find the darn thing again). --Jen 21:24, 20 August 2011 (BST)

August 18th

Increased breakins and ruinings in the NE, likely due to an influx of feral zombies. 20+ standing zombies in the NE/St. Ferreol's area. The rest of Kempsterbank appears secure, as below. --MillaD 17:23, 18 August 2011 (BST)

August 10th

25.96 MHz: "... streets are looking clear in Kempsterbank ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... some survivor activity in the Jillard Building ..."

It's been a roller coaster year for Kempsterbank, with zombies swarms having trashed the suburb only a month before, but the survivors have rebounded as of late. For the last month th ere hasn't been more than 8 zombies standing in a block at the local hotspots of Neot and St Ferreol's hospitals and never more than 12 total on scans usually single ferals passing through.

Every building inside the suburb has s Generator and all but a few have a Radio inside, and the biggest problem facing survivors is keeping them all lit.

Revive lines are clear, with a turn around of under a day. Barricade levels are also very stable, with very few deviations from the established barricade plan. -- JD 03:30, 11 August 2011 (BST)

Zombie numbers are dropping, most are concentrated in two areas. About ten are around the St Ferreol's area, and the rest at the southern border, where Pole Mall recently fell. A few wandering ferals are usually found scattered across Northern Kempsterbank but that area is mostly empty of survivors and zombies move on after regaining ap. - - - JD 18:35, 17 April 2011 (BST)

25.96: "... thirty or so in Kempsterbank ... they're just wandering around ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ... power's on at the Dobbs Building ..."

It's a real battle ground down here in K-Bank. The hand full of ruined buildings are usually St. Ferreol's Hospital and a smattering of darkened building across the suburb. Lights are finally springing up again, and the wait at revive queues peak at about 2-3 zombies at any one time.

The real fighting however, springs just south of the border in Pole Mall, where mobs of zombies clash with dedicated mall rats, with control frequently trading hands.

Also of note, Survivor slaying are on the rise as marauding PKers swoop in to prey on the glut of survivors before the tidal swell of zombies arrives once again like clockwork. - - -JD 22:50, 14 April 2011 (BST)

Large number of Zed occupy center and southern (~30), mostly streets with multiple buildings in ruins. St. Ferreol still ruined and held, presumably by organized Zed group. Only radio transmitter found is powered down at Titus. Rest of suburb seems to house ~3 or less in any given block. Probably feral. Whitenoll fell ~ April 5 according to radio transmission. --- Fae Sidhe 15:16, 7 April 2011 (BST)

March

March 5th

The previous news report (02 March) was nothing more than corporate-media propaganda. St-Feral's Hospital and surrounding buildings are ruined. Zombies are squatting therein and a number are attacking other buildings in the immediate area. Admittedly, the rest of the 'burb appears to be safe, but Kempster's "green" status is being updated accordingly -- to moderate. --WanYao 04:54, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

First, please keep the news section posts for updates in status. Second, I have been watching for the last few weeks and my previous statement holds true, St Ferreol'sis usually ruined with one other building near by sacked. By yours, and other SFNAS members admission this suburb is green, with one building being held at red. SFNAS did not even register on the group list for a week!
If it were possible there should be a special suburb template with a red corner in a green background to accurately depict the suburb status of Kempsterbank.-- JD 18:28, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

25.96 MHz: "... streets are looking clear in Kempsterbank ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... only a few buildings damaged though ... the Jillard Building is being held ..."

Kempsterbank has entered a new survivor renaissance. Whatever ferals remained after the last battle for the suburb are gone. All that remains are the dedicated SFNAS zombies usually attempting to occupy their eponymous hospital and at times one other building. Which is good news for young survivors which provides a veritable shooting gallery and FAK fest, when zombies break in trying to retake.

Lights are on in almost every building, radios are slower to crop up though as Pole Mall to the south seems to be the only other place seeing action. The Mall has been trading hands on an almost weekly basis with concerted efforts of multiple survivor groups from the local area recapturing what intrepid ferals manage to take. -- JD 18:00, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

A new year, but the same struggle continues. Survivors and zombies take to the battle over the constantly contested 9-block area of Jillard NT. As soon as one building is taken , another falls, and as one falls, another is retaken. Neither side can over power the other, and an enduring stalemate ensues with no end in sight. More than the usual SFNAS members are around though, perhaps left over ferals from the last counter-clockwise sweep of the zombie hordes, or perhaps outside help called in for reinforcements to hold St Ferreol's. Either way revive lines are clear, spiking only after a break-in at in a safehouse. PKings are far a few between usually localized at the Pole Mall border and the occasional GKer slaying. -- JD 19:40, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

The fight for K-bank rages on, the KT and other survivor groups are still picking up the pieces after an invasion by a perfect storm of several big name zombie groups on a southern tour of Malton. A brief respite immediately after MOB's departure has recently re-surged with only a few 6+ groups outside key buildings in Eastern Central Kempsterbank. There seems to be no real organization however and are probably mostly ferals trying to pick the bones of what MOB left behind. Jillard happened to be powered when this snapshot was taken, but all buildings in the suburb are contested on an hourly basis. Revive lines are clear or low despite the efforts of rotters, Pole Mall is secure for the time being. JD 16:47, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

After a rout by the Fortress and Knights Templar, local zombies were contained to just two groups in Eastern Kempsterbank with almost all buildings being powered, barricaded, and garrisoned. With the departure of the Fortress, the Knights have managed to hold all but St Ferreol's and its neighbors. Barricade levels continue to be met or overbarricaded in order to keep out any enterprising ferals. Low level Survivor/Zombies should avoid the war zone that is Eastern Kempsterbank unless being Eaten/Headshot is of little bother. --JD 20:15, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

The MOB once again paid K-bank a nice visit, chewed it up, and then headed for Pole Mall. Needless to say, there was quite a bit of clean up to do after they left, but things are looking mostly back to normal. Organizers are excited about the growth of the ongoing event as additional invitees begin to arrive. They are reportedly hopeful that their efforts for reform and education will result in lasting change. A battle is raging as a thus far unclaimed horde assaults a very out of the way hospital in northern Kempsterbank. The siege of this seemingly random chosen building has raged for a little over a week approximately. Zombies and survivors alike have piled themselves against the door, and with about equal numbers, there is no clear outcome visible in this "Assault of Precint 13"-esque conflict.
Otherwise, the suburb is relatively safe beside the hot zones surrounding Neot General, and the ever dangerous St Ferreol's. Generators and Radio flow freely from the near by mall and repairs to break-ins and ruins are timely and come with heals. -JD 02:26, 27 May 2009 (BST)

Like clockwork the external military reports the jump in activity beginning this month as the highly coordinated MOB invade and take out two of the suburb's most valuable resource in what can be best described as a blitzkrieg. Scavengers and others cannon fodder should vacate, while combatants, healers, and revivers should check their inventory and prepare for a hard fight. This report is push from the last one but, the activity of death cultists is rising, generators and radios are heard crashing in many buildings, although the good news is that overbarricading is less of a problem than before. The rumor that Kempsterbank was next to be hit on the way to Pole is unfounded as they have their hands full with Pitneybank, though local zombie groups keep the pressure up till their brethren can arrive. -- JD 22:45, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

The remaining zombies were grouped in 1's and 2's and scattered across the area, but posed no serious threat to any other locations. --Mobius 17:11, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

The year grinds on and according to our eyes in the sky Kempsterbank has fallen a notch on the scale.

"... Kempsterbank looks clear ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... only a few buildings damaged though ... power's on at the Dobbs Building ..."

The general area is a hot bed of activity. Many building are overbarricaded throughout the suburb, which has lead to many survivors being found locked out on the street. The lack of reliable entrances has also lead to a deterioration of infrastructure with generators going without fuel and radios destroyed without replacement. The zombies on the other hand, although few in number, and not always standing, are organized and often crack open light dependent buildings, Cinemas, Clubs, Banks, and such to hide inside. Local survivor groups on the other hand continue to work to rid the suburb of the death cultists who are believed to be behind the sabotage. Their informative radio traffic can be heard daily. The suburb is settling in for the year and in the area very little has changed according to the military report for Kempsterbank, which is a mirror of its 2 week old predecessor.

"... streets are looking clear in Kempsterbank ... a lot of lights on, looks the area's been reclaimed ... infrastructure looks intact too ... the Jillard Building is being held ..." The continued peace has allowed transmitters to pop up in just about every building, as a result daily reports are heard though out the 'burb. Most commonly heard, word of Mall Tour is spurring survivors to prepare for the loss of Pole, and also the inevitable spill over into the suburb.

But although its peaceful, the streets are far from safe. St. Ferreol's trades hands often, and other more tenacious ferals attack other light dependent buildings such as Banks; Clubs; Cinemas; etc. JD 21:41, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Its fair to say that, aside from the hot zone around St. Ferreol's, people are pretty safe. Congrats to the survivors, and kudos to our zombie adversaries and better luck on the next military report. JD 20:00, 8 January 2009 (UTC)

The suburb is in good health. Barricades are maintained at their normal posted levels, power is on in most all buildings, and radios are present in most all buildings as well. PKings are minimal if any, and the occasional zombie attacks around the northern most factory, Julie General, and at the St Ferreol's are usually thrown back into the streets in a few hours, often leaving a handful of infections and a destroyed generator.

The suburb is recovering, some of the out of the way buildings like the banks and cinemas are still down as they require power to fix and the handful of zombies inside won't allow it. Most of the 'burb is secure, and needing barricades put up or some cases and reduction in barricades where the 'cade plan calls for it. Power is slowly creeping out from the factories and from the mall to the south, with most of the resource buildings including 1 PD, both NTs, and half of the hospitals confirmed with power, though radios are far and few between after a few blocks from the mall. Only about 15 zeds on a necronet scan though there dead bodies a plenty around the important VS resources.

Things continue to get better as both NTs are powered, Pole Mall is also back in action which probably helping speed the recovery. And the thanks most probably lie with the resident group's determination to keep the suburb's head above water, as well as outside groups who have voluntarily come in and help clean up in the way of The Dead. But all is not yet safe enough to sleep on the curb yet, as as the military have reported, there are a few large groups trying to reverse the progress by survivors. Most of them concentrated around Jillard and the surrounding buildings, along with Titus General in the north end of the suburb. JD 03:30, 17 May 2008 (BST)

External Military: "... reporting from Kempsterbank, I've got over a hundred active ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... a few buildings with lights on ... some minor structural damage ... the Jillard Building has fallen ..."

Well that begins to sum up the overall situation. In recent weeks the feral zombies have ruined resource building and then destroyed buildings commonly hiding survivors with the loss of a good number people, though many have been revived. Also Player Killers are hanging around and killing survivors although its not a complete rampage and might be a group war in a place where survivors are needed more than more dead bodies. And all is not lost either, several pockets of human resistance continue to fight back even going so far as to keep a couple buildings including at least one of the two NTs powered and safe, and until either side gets a boost in population, it'll continue to be the micro-apocalypse this game was meant to be. JD 01:00, 14 May 2008 (BST)

  • May 5th

Been a lot of hard fighting over the last few days, but overall the trend seems to lean in the survivor's favor. Many more buildings are being barricaded and staying barricaded, revive lines are being worked and cleared, and resource buildings are staying powered for longer and longer periods of time. But the place is still pretty dangerous, entry points can uncommonly often be found over barricaded and several buildings are still ransacked daily including some of the suburb's many hospitals. And with several groups appearing to lend aid, this 'burb is definitely on the road to full recovery. Lowering the danger level to just regular dangerous. JD 05:30, 5 May 2008 (BST)

From what is known from several survivor's accounts, after Pole Mall was recaptured, many of the holdout survivors, that till then had been hiding in ruined buildings and hastily recaptured junkyards, finally had a solid foothold to build up and out into Kempsterbank, and what can only be attributed to the time out of many idle zombies, only a core group of seemingly organized ferals remain in the the suburb with the occasional wandering feral remaining. St. Luke's Church cemetery also had one zombie in it, and all cemetries are technically revive points. The small siege at the Jillard Building was won by the survivors. • January 25th, 2008 14:35 GMT. A sweep of the south and west sector of kempster turned up a massive nothing, 2 zombies in ware walk maybe after a revive. Check a bit of east and north but ran out of action points, don't worry they ran out looking for ammo in Barnerd. Buildings at VSB or better. No reports of attacks or break ins, if there has been people haven't been using kempsters frequency. 27:55

  • January 14th, 2008 13:53 GMT After checking out reports of 8 zombies in the junkyard south of Burdett way police station, we did indeed find 8 zombies, we killed 1 bugged out on the second and when we went back with Marine "R" we found the place EHB and couldn't fight anything. No zombies found in kempster on our rather small sweep (low action points) we found what buildings we did check were VSB and higher and 2 zombies in a factory in Shackleville. pegged one of em and called it a day.

  • January 6th, 2008 16:49 GMT 1 Zombie pegged, was on ammo search and replying to a caller today, sorry guys no decent street report. West kempster looked relatively clear. Barricades in Barnerd are back at VSB+2 have been for some time(hours). The DJ is tooled up with spare ammos, intern is still having a hard time finding anything but damn flak jackets and radios and marine pegged a lone zombie on his limited patrol. Don't panic when barricades drop there aren't enough active zombies in kempster for it to be a danger, defenders are active. If it worries you that much get repair and build your own barricades.

Survivor group is fine and we have plenty of weapons and medkits due to the hospital and police station being just 2 blocks apart. Was a good day for ammo hunting found about 8 clips on DJ TMB, 3 with Intern "A" and Marine "R" killed a zombie. Barriacades lowered to allow people building access again. • December 28, 2007 11:31AM Scanned most of kempster today and the streets were clear of zombies but not dead bodies. Someone apparantly over barricaded the police station again, for the sake of 1 zombie what i was told. If it just 1 cades should never go above VSB+2 we remind our listeners that this is the best level that allows the greatest defence without compromise to peoples access. This has been a public service annoucement.

  • December 26, 2007 23:13 Zombie pegged outside Barnerd police station, train station down to VSB+2. Nothing much to report now zombie attack on julie put down by it's defenders. No other news has reached us to be reported on. Stay viliglent about 5-10 zombies reported active in kempster from the sounds of things, they're active and will kill you if you stay outside always leave yaself with enough AP to get back thats AP needed + 3 incase of load errors.

  • December 24, 2007 Well the suburb is doing great, most all buildings are powered and at their alloted barricade levels. There are occasional break ins but all are quickly put down and returned to normal. Next time the military fly over and detail our situation, we should get a glowing report. JD 01:05, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

11:25 GMT. After a limited sweep, slow loading and resupply duty we wondered too far south again and landed in northeast pole mall the northeast section has been brought down to VSB and theres no signs of zombies so we can only guess that people have lowered it to allow shopping sprees. What we did see of kempster 1 zombie between barnerd police and julie general, peged em and that was it. Club black burn is open for buisness again the barricades are down to VSB. Was no one inside when we looked though, must be waiting for tomorrow to stock up on beers and get jolly under the missletoe. Remember kempster radios are meant to be 27.55 and there just 1 day to go people. So go to bed early and rest up because tomorrow will drain the hell out of kempster(with any luck it will) On our chrismas list a mass antivirus for the zombies to turn everyone into humans again. • December 23, 2007New to Kempsterbank here. patrolled the northern area of the suburb and didn't see a single threat. I did however accidentally headshot the only fellow standing at the Wake Walk revive point. Sorry bout that mate, I feel terrible. Good news is though that you won't be dead for long. Hopefully things will stay peaceful for a while longer. --Kale Black 01:36, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
  • December 22, 2007 Was hunting for supplies today, intern "A" spent about 25 action points on a zombie and didn't hit it once, thats 6 55% shotguns, 7 55% pistols and many axes at 40% and nothing. DJ TMB and Marine "R" hit it twice bringing its down to 44HP, barricades in Barnerd police station are needing a fix they down to light maybe loose... didn't have time to check other areas due to needing to stock up on supplies with all 3.

DJ TMB Intern "A" and Marine "R"

  • December 21, 2007 2 zombies outside Sanford Towers have bugged out about 45 action points(2 heros) were used to try and hit them and nothing. Aside from that 2 people in ware walk look like they need a revive. couple other zombies in northwest kempster but thats it. Marine "R" is now with us in one of the hospitals healing up after zombie infection. Once hes back on his feet we will have all 3 of our heroes prowling for zombie blood.

  • December 19. 2007 15:12 GMT a zombie at the Ware Walk and cemetery revive points. Other than that 1 zombie at a Doran Square and The Dobbs Building. • December 17, 2007 Zombie numbers have been hacked down and Tapton's east border is quite the threat level of yellow is no longer with us. Snuggled up with a fir tree and a generator the ambiance in here is rather relaxing just need some painting to look at. Don't barricade past VSB+2 theres no need and people don't want to be stuck outside in the cold. 1 zombie found outside Neot General Hospital.

  • December 14, 2007 11:54 GMT The area of a short patrol today needed action points to find ammo. About 12 zombies west of Barnerd Way Police Department Kempsterbank now needs to be updated to condition yellow as there are more zombies than green status. We are not near orange right now however people we need to hunt the damn undead b*******s and keep our community safe. We'll need a couple days to stock up if our searching yields as little as it did today. The Dobbs Building had 2 zombies, mare walk 5, Pattemore Grove Railway Station had 1 and there were about 5 more in the limited are around that. Some may have been part of tapton's crew but they seem to have wondered over here with the snow.

  • December 10th, 2007 Firstly a heads up to those heading out into the snow in Central Kempster, there's been a unusual amount of over barricading. November

  • November 29, 2007 A sweep northwest-north of Barnerd way police station yielded 2 zombies both were killed saving some poor bugger who ran out of action points, the east section needs someone to maintain it, we can only search a small section of kempster. Apologies for saying it was pretty safe. Also power running low in Barnerd Police station if anyone got a fuel can spare. 11:13 GMT

DJ TMB Listens to his callers.

  • November 25, 2007 about 10 zombies around the McNeal towers area northwest of Barnerd Police station beyond that no activity around the Police station or Julie General Hospital another quiet day in Kempsterbank. By DJ TMB "Back with the living"
    • All has not been quiet. It was about 12 hours ago, admittedly, and things may have stabilised since then... But at the time Julie General had been breached with zombies inside (apologies, no photos available); the Jillard NT was also very close to being breached. And various other nearby buildings were not in good shape at all.[1][2][3] Serious threats? Perhaps not. All quiet in Kempsterbank? Definitely not. --WanYao 16:29, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
      • I agree it has not been quiet with the few break-ins in Junkyards and other VS resource buildings, but it has been safe in and around the powered regions. Most all safe houses are holding strong and there is much experience to be reaped by the young players both in the Northwest around Neot General and also in the south in the ransacked areas near Pole Mall which is rebuilding as I speak. Also the queues at the revive points are short and revives are passed out at the normal rate. JD 20:20, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
  • November 24, 2007 After having to retreat to a junk yard for the night we got overrun by zombies and most of us inside died. 4 Zombies were in the junkyard 2 west 1 north of Barnerd Way Police department saw a lone zombie on our travel to Jillard beyond that the immediate area are the police station is safe and we think the barricades can be lowered back to VSB+2. So keep hunting those Zombies people and keep kempster out of zombie control. BY DJ TMB
  • November 23, 2007 After unloading 5 pistol clips into 2 zombies nearly killing the second we became blissfully aware of the amount of zombies around the Barnerd police area at least 10 or so around the area we're holed up in. With the rise in zombie activity people are barricading themselves in for the long haul, however this precaution results in people being cut off from medical and weapon supplies with a few scattered survivor plots and buildings safe for hiding in left.

This report by DJ TMB. Wishing our peeps a long life as a human.

  • November 21, 2007 Some newer, lower level residents of Kempsterbank are either unaware that chopping up zombies waiting for a revive at Ware Walk is a good way to wind up being dead once the zombie hordes have moved on or they are deliberately masquerading as humans so they can pop in to disrupt the reviving of refuges pouring in from the embattled West Greyside. When unsure, check profiles. There are plenty of career zombies around to gain XP from. Ignorance can be excused once. After that, what comes around goes around. -- Doktaratchetti 17:37, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
  • November 20th, 2007 Things are heating up in Kempsterbank, with the big bash attacking West Greyside in the south. There is the normal amount of spill over into our fair burb with a couple border shelters being attacked along with the already present handful of zombies attacking in the north around the groups of hospitals. As a precautionary step, residents of the suburb are advised to stock up on the all essential good such as Revivification Needles, First Aid Kits, and Ammo; should the powers that be choose to detour into Kempsterbank to halt our production of the essentials that might hamper their march. JD 07:03, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
  • November 15th, 2007 JD again, and the conditions in Kempsterbank are safe. There are few if any standing zombies to be found in the suburb, and while there are the occasional break-ins in resource buildings such as a hospital or the phone mast, they are normally one or two in number and quickly put down. Infrastructure continues to build with a running generator in nearly every building and radio transmitter are spreading too. JD 01:46, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
  • November 13th, 2007 Theres no groups seen on my patrols lately lopped 1 undead this morning around 00:30 GMT besides that only seen loner zombies usually in combat with a defense player. Everything is quite in Kempsterbank right now. Another sweep about 15 minutes ago revealed no zombies around the Barnard way police station and it's immediate area all directions clear in a distance of at least 2 each way. DJ TMB
  • November 10th, 2007 Well its another bright shiny day in Kempsterbank, no zombies standing in the suburb and the revive lines are clear with plenty of smelly bodies waiting to rise as survivors again. Occasionally an entry point is barricaded but usually quickly restored to its normal position. Radios and generators are plentiful and more and more are popping up everyday, though fuel is sometimes short. Also as a note to the inhabitants of the central region of Kempsterbank, it has been decided amongst the resident groups to lower the 'cades at Barnerd Way Police Department since there aren't any zeds to warrant a Extremely Heavy Barricades. JD 17:34, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
  • November 5th, 2007 JD is back from his break from the wiki and is here to report on Kempsterbank once more many thanks to Wan Yao and others who helped record the impartial happenings in Kempsterbank. As had been said, most all of the suburb is clear and only a few die hards remain in the north, break ins are rare in any of the southern buildings and it is possible for a person to survive in the street over nite once more. Barricades stay at their normal regulated level and the only zombies seem to be survivors coming down from embattled suburbs looking for revives. JD 19:00, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
  • November 4th, 2007 Kempsterbank is now officially boring. There are only a few zeds in the area, and maybe one diehard who really wants into jillard, so I will update to green. By the way, do come to Kempsterbank if you want a revive since the revive points are always empty now. Kittan 21:44, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

  • October 23rd, 2007 Most of the suburb has been repaired since the big bash came through, break ins still occur. Probably about 30+ zeds total wandering the area, not counting dead bodies. --Kittan 03:47, 24 October 2007 (BST)

  • October 5th, 2007 It looks like the area around the Jillard building NT is slowly being retaken. There are still zeds outside many of the buildings however many(including resource buildings) are repaired and barricaded and the horde that sacked Titus seems to be moving on. Even with the recently rekindled resistance the suburb is still far from safe though.--Dulon 21:22, 5 October 2007 (BST)
  • October 4st, 2007 I was in Titus several days ago when it fell. A massive horde of 71 zombies congregated from the surrounding blocks and stormed the hospital, slaughtering all inside. Kempsterbank is still in trouble.

Jarus 19:20, October 4 2007 (BST)

  • October 2st, 2007 21 zeds on Ebutt Road. Some of them are rotters. This revive point seems dysfunctional to me.
  • October 1st, 2007 7 zeds inside Burdett Way PD, Whitenoll, Jilliard ruined, Julie and Titus ruined, St George's ruined. No large groups of survivours to be found, many Zeds.

September

  • Travelling around Kempsterbank, I've seen large portions of the suburb are ruined, and of those buildings that do have 'cades, many are loosely or lightly barricaded. At least half the hospitals are wide open, and none of those left standing have power. You can see the effect of this in many injured suvivors simply left untreated. With the RRF tearing up large parts of West Grayside to the south, I'd say this whole region is quite dangerous to be breathing. --WanYao 17:11, 19 September 2007 (BST)
  • September 16th, 2007 The zombie hordes left. Only 10 zombies left in the whole suburb. It's very quiet now. We should use that time to rebuild damaged buildings. User:Bruce77Willis 12:33, 16 September 2007 (BST)

The zeds have fragmented out of the massive 50+ single horde into smaller groups, though, making reclamation efforts seemingly more feasible.--Jarus 02:49, 8 September 2007 (GMT)
  • September 8th, 2007 I made 53 Zeds inside Julie on my scouting run. Barnerd Way PD, Julie Hospital and the Jillard NT were all ransacked. And, Ebutt Road had 37 Zeds presumably waiting for revives, whereas Ware Walk had next to none. We're in a bit of trouble here, people.--Jarus 19:55, 9 September 2007 (GMT)
This is one of the truest VeryDangerous zones in Malton currently, with a very large and destructive zombie presence wreaking havoc with the locals. --Donathin 16:17, 8 September 2007 (BST)
No, it doesn't warrant Very Dangerous yet. The Zed horde does not mount 150+, and many buildings are still caded. Dangerous, but not that bad yet. We can pull through. .--Jarus 19:22, 8 September 2007 (BST)
  • September 7th, 2007 In the area around the Titus General Hospital there are a total of 18 zeds spotted, 8 of which are inside the Nun Row Fire Station. The other large group would be the 6 outside Barnett Boulevard Fire Station. Now these are small numbers to the 73 reported zombies outside of Julie General Hospital, but with Julie only being 3 blocks south of Titus Hospital, we could all be in some very deep shit and I don't think we even know what kind of boots are needed to walk in it.--Denver Randleman 22:57, 7 September 2007 (BST)
- It appears Burdett Way PD and Nunn Row Fire Station have both fallen out of survivor control for the time being. .--Kyrenx 22:25, 7 September 2007 (CST)
  • September 6th, 2007 At least 30 survivors are barricaded in St. Ferreol's Hospital so the future of Kempsterbank might remain safe if some coordinated efforts are made to kill these zombie scum. As long as no Extinction hordes are in sight we might be alright.--Denver Randleman 06:39, 6 September 2007 (BST)
- Around 9:00PM(EST) another horde of zombies ransacked Jule General Hospital. I counted 73 zeds in here. A lot of people in need of revivification at Ebutt Road and the cemetery.--Jorne
  • September 5th, 2007 Kempsterbanks looks like it may be in dire straights. Several buildings buildings in the north hang between ransacked and barricaded with rarely anyone daring to sleep inside. And it could only be the begining as it is now known that LUE were the group responsible for the massacre at Barnerd Police department where approximately 20 survivors, including myself, were killed in a great act of metagaming, seeing how 8 zombies took down the barricades at once.-- JD 23:15, 5 September 2007 (BST)
  • September 4th, 2007 Julie General Hospital [56, 76] Is in dispute with 10 zeds 10:00, 4 September 2007 (BST)
- The hospital was overran, I counted over forty bodies. A lot of people in need of revivification at Ebutt Road [57, 76]
  • September 3rd, 2007 Barnerd Way Police Department [54, 76] is lost to 58 zeds. Fight them or run for they will over take all if not stopped.--Foxxx222 06:23, 4 September 2007 (BST)
  • September 1st, 2007 No large changes in Kempsterbank since my last report. Randoms ferals are active around the suburb attacking resource buildings but according to the Necrotech readout rarely in groups and even then no larger than three and their total numbers ball parked at 15. The once turbulent area around Dobbs NT has cooled considerably as Tapton's apparent siege of its eastern third has passed, and reports of official targeting by the Minianz were never confirmed. Central Kempserbank's new group as mentioned in the August 15 entry is settling in well and has made that area of Kempsterbank all the more safer. And though break ins in resource buildings such as Julie General Hospital are still quite active they are often put down quickly and easily. Northern Kemspterbank is hot with activity as always and is a good place to earn experience, just be wary of where you fall asleep.

And on an unsettling note, this player has seen a member of Extinction, which has obliterated the Northwestern chunk of Malton, and hopes that he/she was not part of one of their scouting parties. -- JD 20:40, 1 September 2007 (BST)

August

  • August 15th, 2007 Greetings all! I'm Unema, Detulux Inc's diplomat. Just a heads up really that my group will be relocating to this suburb. This is mainly due to the whole DARIS thing happening in our old border suburb of Shearbank. If there are no objections then we'll move in tomorow. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help out :) --Unema 19:20, 15 August 2007 (BST)
  • August 11th, 2007 Well true to their word, the Wingmen, practically overnight, have gone human, helped restore Kempsterbank, and then left, probably towards Caiger Mall. Things are back to normal. The revive lines are clear, random ferals resume attacks along the northern areas nearest to Shackleville, and the Knights resume their regular patrols, maintaining and defending the general area. --JD 04:44, 11 August 2007 (BST)
  • August 6th, 2007 Hello I am a representative of the Wingmen we came in and save this town a little while ago(barricaded, revived, healed and killed zombies) then the Knights Templar came in and took our credit, so we decided to destroy the town as zombies. Now that we finished that we are going to resume our roles as a human group saving towns we will help you rebuild and then leave for the caiger mall.

Manowar313 22:05 8/6/07 (EST)

Hmm...why does that policy sound familiar? *ponders* Ohhh, you sound just like a conglomerate affiliated with the US government. We destroyed your town, but now we'll help you rebuild it! (For a price, of course.) In our cases, I guess the price was a bunch of survivor deaths and ransacked buildings. -- Rotting4You 00:35, 07 August 2007 (EST)
Really? You guys were here during the rebuilding? Well, apologies for not noticing you earlier, but hey we neither saw ya, nor saw a building spray painted with a tag or a building tagged as your temporary base or something. Hell not even a shout on the wiki about your arrival in the suburb or for participation, so we just lumped you in with the general population. But what's done is done so welcome back to the living side, we look forward you your help this time and wish you luck when you head out for Caiger. And also as a friendly word of advise, to save both sides a hard time, next time why not just use diplomacy and discuss it on the wiki instead of just smashing things to make you feel better. JD 23:00, 7 August 2007 (BST)
  • August 4th, 2007 St. Ferreol's Hospital, Titus General Hospital, Julie General Hospital: now finished. All hospitals in Kempsterbank are now ransacked. The Jilliard NT building is ransacked. There are 36 zeds at Ebbutt Road waiting for revive. Ded Bob Sho 19:34, 04 August 2007 (EST)
  • August 4th, 2007 Neot's General Hospital, St. George's Hospital, St. Matheo's Hospital: all ransacked. Moving on to St. Ferreol's Hospital. Ded Bob Sho 12:51, 04 August 2007 (EST)
  • August 3rd, 2007 - Some signs of life today from the survivor population as revive actions were spotted. However, sustained Zed pressure has left an inordinate amount of citizens dead and rotting at the revive points, MRH?ing through the lonely nights...

--Dr.S 15:44, 03 August 2007 (EST)

St. George's briefly held by survivors but has been retaken by zeds. Status of Neot Hospital unsure; possible zombie infestation. Titus and St. Ferreol seem to be in survivor hands for the time being. Things are looking up a bit compared to two days ago, but it's slow-going for humans. -- Rotting4You 15:51, 03 August 2007 (EST)
  • August 2nd, 2007 North-central Kempsterbank has lost most of its resource buildings to zeds, and many non-resource buildings as well. There seems to be no coordinated effort to retake the suburb so the problem is spreading. Neot Hospital confirmed in zed hands. Will check the status of St. George, Titus, St. Ferreol and St. Matheos later this evening. Rotting4You 19:52, 02 August 2007 (EST)
  • August 1st, 2007 - Things have taken a turn for the worse in Central Kempsterbank as the body count rises. Both sides continue to fight a fierce battle. The tide continues to shift back and forth between survivors and zeds with the dead currently having the edge. The battle wages on... -- Dr.S 14:24, 01 August 2007 (EST)
Many of the resource buildings (including Julie General Hospital and The Jilliard Building) have been ransaked and all sleeping survivors dragged into the street for a good ol' fashioned zed feasting. My junkyard hiding place received just such a treatment. Unless there's an organized human presence in Kempsterbank, I don't see the tide turning back anytime soon. God forbid should MOB decide to pass back through; Kempsterbank would quickly fall in its present state. -- Rotting4You 20:04, 01 August 2007 (EST)

July

  • July 31st, 2007 - Things were not as they seemed, as it is apparent that there is a definite organized zombie presence in the suburb. The culprits are called the Wingmen and may have connections to previous assailants in the MOB. And now that there is a organized zombie presence striking the resource buildings and not wandering ferals, things are probably gonna get interesting. -- JD 02:15, 31 July 2007 (BST)
  • July 26th, 2007 - As fast as they came they were gone, LUE swept through the burb on their way in between malls and reeked havoc all over the place busting all the resource buildings in the area, but now that they are at work elsewhere, most of their feral hangers-on have gone with them. Many are still around but the suburb is returning to its normal status quicker than usual. For those in revive lines, keep patient, as you've probably seen, we're working through the queues as fast as humanly possible. -- JD 04:10, 26 July 2007 (BST)
  • July 22nd, 2007 - Zombies, presumably those in or following the LUE horde that had just smashed Pole mall, as always, spilled over into Kempsterbank. Southern Kempsterbank is a loss, and both NTs, although not ransacked are EHB and hold few to no survivors. JD 03:34, 23 July 2007 (BST)
  • July 16th, 2007 - Zombies bashed in the barricades at St. Ferreol's hospital. Wounded, dead, help us, please. Doktaratchetti 20:18, 16 July 2007
Remember to sign your posts, and patrolling knights are in route to aid in the recapture. Along with the occasional break in the northern and northeastern area things are in the green. JD 01:05, 17 July 2007 (BST)
  • July 11th, 2007 - Kempsterbank continues to grow safer, though the north still has a couple of dedicated zombies to keep things interesting, sieging different buildings usually the resource buildings. And on a lighter note, a rogue graffiti artist has sprayed tags across most of the southwest area of the suburb denouncing a "586" and "the spam council" clean up crews have been dispatched to overwrite the mess and restore important tags. JD 00:07, 12 July 2007 (BST)
  • July 7th, 2007 - Kempsterbank is pretty safe once more, with only a few random break ins by the resident zombies and a few wandering ferals into the Very Strong resource buildings across the 'burb, though standing zombies are usually shot down again soon after. JD18:00, 7 July 2007 (BST)
  • July 2nd, 2007 - With the MOB having moved on to Tapton going on a week now, things have recovered pretty well. The central and southern areas of the suburb are clear with little to no zombie activity, and most undead activity resides in the north above the 74rd parallel gathered mostly around the Hospitals. Experience Points are reaped in healthy quantity by both sides of the fight and things seem to have receded back to normal once more. JD 03:30, 3 July 2007 (BST)
  • July 1st, 2007 - Neot General Hospital is currently empty but secured at VSB. Due to heavy zombie activity, for my own safety I will be relocating to an area with more survivors. Remain vigilant. -- Sgt Cartwright

June

  • June 28rd, 2007 - le G.I.F.D. is coming in this suburbs to clean streets! We know we come too late after the plague because of organization's problems. The Dobbs Necrotech Building [50, 75] was cleane and powered.-- Zyll GIFD Francais 10:55, 28 June 2007 (BST)
  • June 25rd, 2007 - Beatty Boulevard School has been retaken, Sanford Towers is almost safe again. Unsure about Neot, last I checked it was under-siege, but that was a few days ago. Malicry 1.31 EST.
  • June 24rd, 2007 - Titus general is open as of 11am pst. Would be nice if the area was red again. Urbandot 11.31 PST.
  • June 23rd, 2007 - Bad, but not very bad. Lots of cades still up and lots of survivors still around. Just that some of the main buildings like NTs and Hospitals are under large zombie attack.. then so what's new :P. Just don't sleep there and you'll be fine. MajMack 02:30 EST.
  • June 19th, 2007 - Somehow, even with the barricades at EHB, there are 11 zombies inside Dobbs. Who is zerging? lolol.--humphreybot 16:00, 19 June 2007 (BST)
There are over 50 of us in the suburb; what likely happened is that someone re-caded before we cleared the building and then either left or was eaten. Happens all the time.--Jorm 23:27, 19 June 2007 (BST)
  • June 18th, 2007 - Having grown tired of holding the same NT for 11 days straight (while being zerged - hello, "BigJD5" and "Big JD5"!), the Militant Order of Barhah has begun shambling west.--Jorm 05:05, 19 June 2007 (BST)
Me? zerging you? No, if I were to have zerged you Jillard would have been cleared earlier, and there would be screen shots galore. I keep both characters at least 8-10 paces from each other, usually with one in Tapton or elsewhere. I've never attacked zeds until today when there were only about 3 zombies left in Jillard and he's usually holed up in our home or searching for generators and radio transmitters, while the other went to Mockridge to search for Tapestries in museums there, along with a revive or heal on the Tapton Kempsterbank border. The only thing I will admit to is DNA Scanning a number of zeds when the appropriate distance was maintained. And as far as I know no one else in this group even thinks of zerging so don't push this overwhelming numbers thing on us. JD 04:54, 20 June 2007 (BST)
  • June 15th, 2007 - The Militant Order of Barhah has been laying waste to the formerly peaceful 'burb of Kempsterbank. 'Cades are falling frequently and the revive ques are getting unmanageable. The Jillard Necrotech is going on five days now of constant zombie occupation. The Barhah is BACK!--Drag'n'Feast 18:32, 15 June 2007 (BST)
  • June 9th, 2007 - The Militant Order of Barhah has returned. On the 7th, they took over the Whitenoll Building, and on the 8th, the Jillard NT was opened and most of the inhabitants killed; the MOB also screwed the pooch killed a poodle at that time. The neighborhood is about to get worse.
The Jillard Building is ransacked now, the dozen or so harmanz within torn to bits and eaten. Tasty! Srekto 07:37, 10 June 2007 (BST)
  • June 8th, 2007 - MOB is coming back to Kempsterbank. Whee!

May

  • May 23rd, 2007 - Wow that was fast, thanks in large part to our allies The Randoms, along with a few members from the Malton Civil Defense Unit, and of course the Knights Templar, Kempsterbank is secure once more. The Militant Order has left for another battle in Ridleybank, no doubt bored of the constant 'cading and instant tossing out of broken into buildings. And with them, the ferals, who now lack an organized group to do the hard part, have dissipated once more, leaving only the few dedicated zeds who mostly stick to attacking the Northern part.
I'd like to thank The Randoms once again for their assistance and if they ever need our help they need only but to ask. JD 21:22, 23 May 2007 (BST)
  • May 14th, 2007 - As in life, just when you start to ease into complacency, the zombie gnawing on your foot snaps you back to moment. Zombie numbers are starting to rise again, though in manageable amounts. Small groups of about 5 zeds average, siege the various PDs, NTs, and hospitals through out most of the suburb with only a few intrepid undead venturing single handedly to take out buildings. JD 18:40, 14 May 2007 (BST)
Perhaps you have not yet heard the cries of "MAHB MAHB MAHB," but this entry is not entirely accurate. For the past few days the Militant Order of Barhah has been cracking resource buildings. Oft joined by opportunistic ferals the MOB inquisitors are bringing the true barhah to Kempsterbank. --Anthony Burgess 00:48, 15 May 2007 (BST)
  • May 6th, 2007 - Things are back to normal once again. There are only 7 zeds in all of Kempster right now. Glad the Knights Templar could help out. --Poodle of doom 19:30, 6 May 2007 (BST)
  • May 3rd, 2007 - Things are beginning to calm down a bit,... going from chaos,... to controlled chaos,... to, well,... (as unfortunate as it is), people sleeping in the streets again. --Poodle of doom 03:29, 4 May 2007 (BST)
  • May 1st, 2007 The air is clearing and the bulk of zeds seem to be migrating away after being deprived of an easy supply of brains. Necrotech readouts from the recently powered Jillard show that there are a total of approximately 65 zeds with only two groups who are sieging in no more than 18 (Jillard Necrotech) and 13 (Neot Hospital) members strong, other than that there are only 1 or 2 scattered around most every building in the northwest. JD 22:50, 1 May 2007 (BST)
Also to those waiting at Revive Lines, please stay vigilant, we've got several groups coming to help get you all revived.

April

  • April 29th, 2007 Tides seem to be changing in Kempsterbank, as groups are returning and reenforcement from Pole Mall push north. Though beware as this place is not safe yet, but with several EHB buildings and Zombies attacking mainly the resource buildings its downgradable from an extreme red to a dangerous orange suburb. JD 03:21, 30 April 2007 (BST)
    • Also this suburb is perfect for those looking to build experience quickly as there are plenty of zeds to kill, survivors to heal, and players to revive, WITH an excellent ratio to of VS and EHB building for those with and without free running!
  • April 28th, 2007 There's a caveat to going to the Whitenoll Building. I went there after being alive for about 5 minutes. I APed out, and no sooner was I asleep than the building was smashed open and I was viciously dead again. So, by all means, help retake the suburb, by all means use Whitenoll as a base, but be careful if you sleep there! --Poison Ivy 22:46, 28 April 2007 (BST)
  • April 25th, 2007 The Knights Templar are currently working to re-establish control over the situation. All members are working diligently around the clock. Anyone willing to provide support to these efforts is asked to go to The Whitenoll Building [57,75] and make sure it is EHB. Please also help to power and secure The Jillard Building. This will help to keep the main RP's going, and help restore the suburb to what it once was. --Poodle of doom 04:19, 26 April 2007 (BST)
  • April 24th, 2007: While a dangerous burb, there are still safe areas for continued resistance and work (and hey, no problem finding entry points). Just don't expect any resource buildings to be up and lit. As zombies are concentrated in the area where there's an unusually heavy concentration of resource buildings, safe places to work from can be found around it, or just to the edges of the neighbouring burbs. Don't sleep in the center of the mayhem :P. Tontoman 20:13 (UTC).
  • April 23rd, 2007: Buildings smashed and ransacked. A massive assault on Burdett Way PD last night has crushed survivor resistance there and overwhelmed the Ebbutt Road revive point. It's a bad time to be a survivor in Kempsterbank. Poison Ivy 14:12, 23 April 2007 (BST)
  • April 19th, 2007: Reports of building being trashed are everywhere. The main attack seems to be centered around the NT building the Jillard Building (56,75) with a mob of 44 zeds. Other nearby resource buildings have also been cracked and cleared out. 33 zeds waiting at the revive points just shows the scale of the attack and maybe not so smarts of the zeds, better to move to a farther away revive point instead of being in the main attack area with no NT up and safe houses down. Tontoman 20:13 (UTC)
  • April 16th, 2007: Kempsterbank is becoming increasing dangerous for survivors as zombies from the Pole Mall Attack move into the area. Speculation that Burdett PD and the various hospitals near it is circulating amongst survivors located in those buildings. Vigilance is recommended for all. ~LPV
  • April 15th, 2007: Many buildings are left wide open. Lots of zombies are standing on the street. Tw yeung 06:08, 15 April 2007 (BST)
  • April 11th, 2007: With the recent arrival of Mall Tour at Pole Mall in West Greyside, grievers and combat revived zeds have taken to overbarricading many of the entry points in the south nearest to the mall. And although there are many helping to keep the entries open, residents should take care when traveling outside. Also make sure to stock up on items, as large hoards like Mall Tour are notorious for leaving ferals in the wake of conquered Malls. JD 20:03, 11 April 2007 (BST)
  • April 5th, 2007: There has been an ongoing battle over St. Ferreol's Hospital in the northwest corner of town. Although Titus Hospital remains held, Ferreol and the two bordering fire stations have fallen repeatedly to zombie attacks only to be taken back by survivors. A large pile of bodies (about 34) outside of Ferreol's may be some indication of the size of the zombie infestation in this part of the suburb. Skrav 00:10, 4 April 2007 (UTC) Face de Pet has been spotted destroying generators and transmitters again. Refer to the DNR list below for saboteurs who should be shot on site.
  • April 2nd, 2007: At 1:30 pm Pacific Time, Necronet scans of Kempsterbank indicated only 3 tagged zeds. So long as the barricade plan is adhered too, Kempsterbank will be a very safe and secure suburb. The suburb should be used as a launching point and resupply base for missions into Wray Heights, where help is desperately needed.

March

  • March 29th, 2007: A survivor by the name of Rudi Van Disario has been going around the suburb wounding lower-level survivors to a critical level and then running off to avoid being accused of PKing. Low level players should be wary, and upper level players should beat the snot out of him. Jugband Jamboree 22:26, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
  • March 21th, 2007: Visitors and Residents in Kempsterbank should take care when traveling outside. Entry Points are routinely over barricaded and many left stranded outside. This coupled with the few but diligent zeds around lead to quick deaths. Remember to always leave yourself a couple extra AP to make it to a secondary entry point, because what is the extra 10xp if you'll have to wait at the revive lines for a day or two. Also Tags for Entry Points are all to often sprayed over, and radios tuned to unused stations. Please keep in mind when rebarracading after a Zed attack to 'cade only to level specified in the barricade plan. And also to keep the suburb wide freq of 27.55 tuned at all times to hear about active breakins and masses of zeds read from the necronet readout. JD 16:53, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
  • March 16th, 2007: Some survivors are causing trouble by coming into safe houses and smashing radios and generators. This has happened twice in the past 24 hours, in two different locations. Be on alert. **Culprits to be on the lookout for are: BARHAH enforcer [4] (Quite a honest person, isn't he? Ain't trying to hide what he does.). (If you see others, add their names.
  • March 6th, 2007: Zombie attack on Neot General Hospital. 10 Zombies and 14 dead bodies outside in what looks like to be a planned attack as other areas are rather quiet. Maybe due to this attack, nearby buildings that should be at very strong (Bearns Arms for eg.) are fully barricaded. Care should be taken in scouting your resting house. 05:34 (UTC)
    • Well firstly Bearn Arms has been claimed by KNW as a safe house and aren't moving anytime soon but yes due to the pressure of the 20 or so zombies that have invaded the northern half of Kempsterbank. The Knights Templar have decided to temporarily raise the 'cades in Neot General Hospital, St. Matheos's Hospital, and Nunn Row Fire Station, all other entry points are still marked and are maintained as such. JD 02:44, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
  • March 4th, 2007: Apparently with the large number of zombifications and revivals, the reading centers of survivor brains have slowly decomposed during the process. Zombie killings at the Ware Walk revival point are often and repeated. New civies to Malton can be excused due to not knowing the rules. But when veteran troops of the city are doing the killing, especially when the revival point is documented and currently tagged in paint as such, only the decomposition of the reading centers of the brain can be a reason. So if Drake2040 is encountered, it's recommended that the rules and uses of revival points should be explained verbally as this person has lost the ability to read.

February

  • February 10th, 2007: This is an official announcement from FER: We are moving to Shore Hills. We have been in western Kempsterbank since August 2006 and we hope we helped to make Kempsterbank a safer place. Thanks to all who ever helped! It was a great time, folks! We know we leave Kempsterbank in good hands! --JohnRubin 18:27, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
  • February 3rd, 2007: Things have calmed down a bit since The Hellfreaks left, though there seems to be a small increase in breakins around the mid and northern part of the suburb which is welcomed by most defenders as the quiet was starting to get boring. Also there have been a small rash of PKing, GKing, and an unusual amount of overbarricading lately. Survivors are asked to not combat revive career zeds as they usually PK and GK upon standing, and to also check their entry points before venturing outside and leaving plenty of ap in case of being stuck outside. JD 03:06, 4 February 2007 (UTC)~

January

  • January 10th, 2007: The Hellfighters plan to leave Kempsterbank after a series of blackouts.
  • January 8th, 2007: Incoming traffic, both zombie and human, has been typical. The Hellfighters are in glorious operation in Kempsterbank and are seeking new members.
  • January 3rd, 2007: Well its been pretty quiet here, really quiet, the occasional zombie that wanders through are usually killed quite rapidly, most all buildings are powered and at their respective EHB and VS levels with rare dips in either and several groups in the area are restless with the lack of zeds, save for the ones who sometimes come south from Shackville. Downgrading to Safe for the first time since the Shack left. -JD 21:53, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

2006

December

November

  • November 11th, 2006: Due to the efforts from the various groups in the suburb, and probably also the large zombie activity in the northern suburbs, the zombie presence in the suburb has dropped drastically. Necrotech readouts show only one or two zeds in any one spot with totals numbering in the teens. Buildings through out the suburb have power and transmitters, with only isolated breakins by one or two zombies at a time and then only in the Northern parts or the suburb.

October

  • October 14th, 2006: Currently, there are a little over 100 zombies standing in Kempsterbank. However, over 40 of those are standing at revive points, so the real count may be significantly lower. All but a few buildings are barricaded, many EHB. Shacknews reports concentrating on Nichols Mall two neighborhoods north.
  • October 7th, 2006: Zombie activity in the neighborhood has increased dramatically in the last few days. With Pole Mall in West Grayside to the south ransacked, the Shacknews Horde appears to have settled in Kempsterbank for the time being. Because most of the buildings continue to remain wide open from the previous incursion by Shacknews, both NecroTech facilities being occupied by zombies, a revive point run by Knights Templar that has largely been dysfunctional, and any building whose survivor population numbering more than 5 being systematically cleaned out, the color code for this neighborhood has been increased to Very Dangerous.
  • October 5th, 2006: There are more than 110 zombies in the Kempsterbank. There are more zombies than survivors. Many buildings are open.

September

  • September 20th, 2006: A massive strike has been made on Julie General Hospital. There were over 20 zombies involved, with at least 9 survivors killed. It was suspected that the Shacknews horde is behind the attack, and has been confirmed by various survivors who overheard the horde chanting something that sounded like "LAAAAAAAMP". The rest of the suburb, however, is for all intents and purposes zed-free, with only a couple roamers.
  • September 4th, 2006: The suburb is over all in survivor hands with many organized groups actively protecting. But the reverse is also true, with several organized zombie groups actively attacking resource buildings in the middle and northern parts of the suburb on a semi daily basis. But generally buildings in Kempsterbank are actively barricaded and safe, except for the resource buildings which are attacked often.

  • July 31st, 2006: The Knights Templar have moved into the Kempsterbank area taking up residence, and starting to operating a revive point at Ebbutt Road. The area is relatively safe with no large hordes and only a few break-ins, but with many resource buildings open and ransacked.

"BARHAH Enforcer" the bullshit newly noob, destroyed radio and generator among the survivor's safe house. If anyone see him, pleas kill him and never ever revive him. Maybe, due to the new account and stupid action, HE MAYBE THE SPY OF ZOMBIE. Remember, if anyone see him, kill or Barricade the house to the level VhB or above, until he gone.

June

  • The Undeadites raid the same warehouse attacked on June 5th and May 26th. There are no survivors. June 13th, 2006
  • The Undeadites barge into a warehouse killing over 14 survivors including two members of the Malton World Cup Committee involved in an illegal bookmaking operation. This was the same warehouse involved in the May 26th raid. June 5st, 2006
  • As I ran through town today I noticed most of the buildings were ransacked, doors wide open. I didn't go outside for fear of my life, but just ran on through... June 1st, 2006

May

  • A large contingent of ferals along with several Undeadites assault a warehouse in the southern end of Kempsterbank converting over 20 survivors to the ways of the zed. We welcome our new shambling brothers and sisters with open arms and claws. May 26, 2006
  • The Undeadites ransacked the northern half of Kempsterbank finding many empty and unbarricaded buildings. They were met with little resistance and what few survivors were found perished, including a few members of the Kempsterbank Neighbourhood Watch. May 5-10,2006

April

  • The Four Horses pulled out of Kempsterbank due to growing zombie infestation. April 29,2006
  • The new survivor friendly group Four Horses has taken up residency in Kempster Bank, they will do all the can for humanity and agaisnt zombies. They are now recruiting. April 26, 2006
  • Around 30 (perhaps more) zed converged on the Jillard Building, killing several survivors inside. Julie General Hospital is also currently occupied by the undead. This carries the appearance of an orchestrated attack - survivors occupying the immediate area should proceed with extreme caution until the density of zed has decreased somewhat. March

  • More zeds have been sighted. Nothing too serious but a show of force could be a good deterrent. St Matheo's hospital is empty except for one survivor and one zed. This should be retaken because it is an important supply post for many survivors. March 20th, 2006

February

  • The Kempsterbank Neighbourhood Watch have provided a more detailed zombie tracker called The Zombometer to keep citizens appraised of the zombie threat, and to assist those without free running to find a safe house. They also have a list of known PKers and Zombie spies on their page.- Inkling 04:01, 3 Feb 2006 (GMT)
  • Revive points at Ware Walk and St. Luke's Church continue to see heavy traffic. 'Career' Zombies (ie with Brain Rot) have been found camping at these points, preventing others from being revived, and attacking potential revivers. Areas in the North of the suburb (especially essential service buildings such as Hospitals and Police Departments) are also overrun. 04:01, 3 Feb 2006 (GMT)

January

  • Areas surrounding St. Luke's Church have been overtaken by Zed strike. Surrounding area barricades were attacked and many survivors were trapped in the wee hours. 01/24/05 11:45am EST
  • Zombies number @ Ware Walk is lower, but small mobs surround in various buildings with doors open and survivors stranded. 01/23/06
  • The Mockers angry at getting poked by sharp used needles. Traced them back Barnerd Way Police Dept and are in the process of getting rid of the harman infestation. --Technerd 05:31, 18 Jan 2006 (GMT)
  • The KNW revive point at Ware Walk is currently being overrun by +70 zombies. It is unknown how many of of them actually wish to be revived. GrimHobo 02:55, 18 Jan 2006 (GMT)
  • Area around Nunn Row Fire Station is under zombie attack - help is needed at the hospitals to repel the undead and heal the wounded. Konfear 02:55, 18 Jan 2006 (GMT)
  • As of 16 January 2006, Kempsterbank remains in the general control of the Kempsterbank Neighbourhood Watch. Recent fights with Gaminghorde appear to have diminished, but the suburb is currently experiencing an influx of both survivors and zombies from the post-strike attacks on Pole Mall. The Watch is doing its best to maintain the revive points intact, and encourages anyone waiting for a revive that is killed by survivors to report it to the KNW. --Cthulhu 07:04, 16 Jan 2006 (GMT)

December

  • Warning to visitors to this area: The KNW revive point appears to be an easy XP generator for a few survivors whom have been hitting it several times a day since I got there. I've been waiting for revival since Friday and have been killed several times. Just be warned that you need to pay attention if you try to use this revive point right now. Hopefully it will get better, but it sucks to get killed several times while waiting to be revived. The closest revive point I found near here is at MacKie Street [55, 82] SW of St. Luke's Church in West Grayside. --jaserine 2:45 12/20/05 (-7 GMT)
  • After repeatedly assaulting Julie General Hospital, groups of zombies have moved on to attacking the former safe haven of the Barnerd Way Police Department. Several breaches have been reported, and bodies are starting to pile up outside. Ammunition and supplies are starting to run low, and tensions inside are starting to mount as shaken survivors start questioning each other. --Henry Case 03:02, 15 Dec 2005 (GMT)
