About Our Team

Since forming in 2006, the Knights Templar have been defending Kempsterbank from the zombie masses, keeping it one of the most consistently safe suburbs in Malton.

We are glad to revive and heal anyone who asks. We work side by side with the local civilians, and we proudly stand with our allies against any zombie threat.

We focus on strategy and teamwork within our ranks. Operations large and small, near and far, are always being planned and executed. If you really want to play Urban Dead, we're the group for you.

A detailed history of our group can be found here.

How to join the Knights Templar

Joining is simple! Look for any of our members inside the Whitenoll building or the surrounding area in Kempsterbank.

Or, you can just cut right to the chase and visit our forum to be a part of our illustrious group!

We can also be reached on Google+, Facebook and Twitter

Our Team Structure

The Knights Templar is divided into three groups by function. Upon completion of your time in the Grasshoppers Guild, you'll be asked to choose which specialist group you would like to take part in.

The Order of the Archangel Michael (OAM)

The OAM team patrols Kempsterbank and peripheral territories, runs strikes on known zed hangouts, and generally protects K-Bank from hostile forces within our borders. This is probably the group for you if you like to play at your own pace and work a little more independently.

Cleansing Fire of St. Charles (CFSC)

This is the elite, highly mobile fighting force of the Knights Templar. CFSC operates wherever help is needed in Malton. This team consists of our most experienced and trustworthy Knights.

Colonial Expeditionary Force (CEF)

Our newest unit that has been charged with the defense and maintenance of Havercroft and Barrville, providing active revive points and heals to those in need. The team is currently based in Beaver Towers but provides service to all surrounding areas.

Our Revive Points

One of our main priorities wherever we go is reviving survivors who have found themselves on the wrong side of life.

In Kempsterbank we actively maintain Ebbutt Road (57,76) and Ware Walk (51,74).

Recent Team Events Q4 2013 - Q2 2014

OAM

June 6, 2014 - Still with the Reclaimers, an attempt to secure Blesley Mall from CtD, which has an iron-fist over their corner of Gulsonside, along with the advantage of better coordination. The mall is not completely reclaimed, and a second attempt occurs, which also ends up in failure, as CtD's numbers double.

May 1, 2014 - Joint efforts between the Reclaimers begin in Osmondville. The area from Brockliss Police Department until Axtence NT is reclaimed with moderate success from Hambargar Halparz. Break-ins are not completely eradicated, but are instead lessened, and sometimes limited to racially offensive zergs in the area.

April 15, 2014 - Along with some of the newer members, OAM heads south to Whittenside, in a bid to repair Fort Perryn However, the Save the Yeti zerg group was in the area, and began to shoot at some members of the KT, for no apparent reason. The mission turns into a reclamation drive in neighboring suburbs.

January 4, 2014 - Selected OAM members join the Grasshoppers in a Mall Raid in Stanbury Village. The operation centered on repairing and maintaining Nichols Mall, specifically the The Kilt Store. After pushing back the local zeds and keeping the mall lit, everyone grabbed some kilts, and concluded the mission.

October 2013 - With the Flowers of Decay and Annus Horribilis having paid Kempsterbank a visit, a "war" was waged against the two PKer groups in Kempsterbank and its adjacent suburbs. After a month, both groups withdrew and moved on to other targets.

CFSC

May 1, 2014 - Selected members of CFSC joins the operation with the Reclaimers (refer to "OAM".)

April 16, 2014 - CFSC returns to Kempsterbank as CEF folds.

December 19, 2013 - CFSC joins the CEF in the northwest of Malton, to assist in their efforts.

December 10, 2013 - CFSC returns to Kempsterbank after the 'burb is hit by the RRF.

November 22, 2013 - CFSC performed some housekeeping in the "Cleaning Woodroffe and Tollyton" operation, where The Nurglings struck next, after Kempsterbank.

October 15, 2013 - Concurrent with the PKer war in Kempsterbank came The Nurglings, a zed group based in Vinetown that originated from the DakkaDakka forums. As OAM focused on dealing with FoD/AH, CFSC returned to Kempsterbank and initiated the "Murdering the Nurglings" operation.

August 31, 2013 - The recruitment drive in the northeast area of Malton concluded, as "The Wild West" operation began. CFSC pushed through a cluster of gray 'burbs, beginning with Lockettside's Thompson Mall. Instead of directly confronting the Fourth Big Bash, this operation focused on reclaiming areas previously passed by and destroyed by the mega-horde.

CEF

April 16, 2014 - The CEF folded, after 4 months of operation.

December 19, 2013 - The CEF re-opens, initially searching for a headquarters in the northwest of the city. They rehabilitate and maintain the Barrville/Havercroft area, and experience a brief incursion by the Flowers of Decay into the suburb, around early 2014.
