Following is a partial transcript of the contents of a personal journal, retrieved from the Quarantine Zone by means classified. The Ministry has been able to confirm that the Handwriting on it belongs to sociology Professor Thomas Chambers

I have giving up on trying to date the entries I make here. I lost track of time. It's like my body screams I have been living like this for over 3 months, but I'm pretty sure that the outbreak was only 2 or 3 weeks ago, 4 at most.

It's amazing how fast us humans get used to things. I first saw one of those glittering serum Syringes some days after they closed the city. Nowadays those are pretty common and I have seen a lot of people stop caring about dying already. Since they know their friends will look for them, and inject them. And even more so because the Zombies wont stay dead (in the sense of not moving again of course) either. Now the best thing you can hope for is to keep them down for a few hours, a day tops. I have seen people try almost everything, at least everything you can try with what is around here, and they just Won't stay dead.

The point of all this crazy ramblings is that even with killings going on almost constantly around the city, and in any form you can think of; humans against zombies, humans against other humans, and even zombies against zombies, are completely and totally meaningless. Well they are still morally wrong I guess, at least some of them, but there is no point in it. No higher propose, no way to finish this Malton epidemic once and for all, unless maybe, and that's a big maybe on may part, Weapons of Mass Destruction. But if that is also useless...
