Lurkinswood is a suburb of Malton, located in the west of the city. In proximity to one of Malton's western most malls, Ackland in Havercroft, Lukinswood is not for those used to the abundance and safety of the forts, mansions, and malls to the east. Lukinswood only has one NechroTech building, one hospital, and two police departments located in the extreme east and west of the suburb. But it is in this barren environment that strong survivors and fierce zombies are forged. Past groups have included The Order of Longinus and current groups include the Tactical Assault Containment Service. Consistant free lancers of the suburb are Pirrasen Jaska, Sirs, and kaboose117. The suburb also falls under the reported territory of The Crimson Clan and the DEM. However, Lukinswood locals never receive requested aid from outside groups and have thus learned to live independently.

Welcome to the fringe of safety!

All but a few buildings are ruined. Stagg is still operating with occasional break-ins. All other resource buildings are down. A healthy spread of between two and four feral zombies per block. Not safe. ~ Sirs 20:17, July 15 2008 (EST)

I saw 80 standing zombies on the streets of Lukinswood -- not including SW quarter, which I did not get to. 28 of these are outside the besieged Stagg NT building [1]. But survivors from Lukins and afar are making progress: ruins are steadily getting fixed, 'cades are coming up, and most resources buildings are in survivor hands, though mostly unpowered [2] [3]. --WanYao 14:40, 6 July 2008 (BST)
