History Since Dickhole guy took power

General Dickholeguy Rallies the troops in the Tynte Building, on December 24th, 2006

DHG took command of the Rangers on November 4th, 2006. DHG took control right as the Rangers were about to lauch a massive strike into the heart of Ridleybank (with as many Rangers as could be rallied in time, small in number but large in heart). The primary assault proved ineffective against the RRF's own DoHS at first, but the Rangers and their allies managed to clear 15 zombies out of The Blackmore Building before they in turn were felled in glorious battle. The next day (The fifth of November) Survivor forces under the command of Ron Burgundy and Codename V moved in and finished the job the Rangers had started. After that, the mighty RRF and their numerous allies swarmed Blackmore, and were forced to lay siege to the suburb which they claim is impossible to live in They were forced out of Blackmore after a week of vicious fighting, while being outnumbered by almost 5:1. The Blackmore Building finally fell for a second time because of survivor confusion when the forts were updated. Fighting a desperate rear-guard action the brave rangers were cut down on the steps of the building with shotguns and fire axes held high in salute to their fallen comrades.

After Blackmore II, DHG lead his then small group of Rangers to Fort Perryn. The Perryn Op was short lived, they got there a week after Blackmore. The fort was held briefly, until a massive force of zombies forced them out (there were over 1000!). After Perryn, the Rangers moved to Yagoton to clean up the mess that Shacknews created and to provide support to the YRC which have helped our dead comrades becoming living so often. However, DHG was contacted via the metal plate in his head, and was told that Shearbank was under assault by Shacknews. This battle lasted several days at the end of November and into December. The Rangers, realizing full well that this was a battle agaisnt impossible odds, fought on agaisnt both the RRF and Shacknews. The Malton Rangers staunchly defended The Whippey Building, one of Shacknews' hardest fought sieges. The Rangers, as per their motto, were the last ones out. After Shacknews steam rollered stickling mall the Rangers liberated bale mall single handedly thanks to the influx of new troops into the group. While the Rangers were quaffing mead telling raunchy tales of better times in Bale, Ron Burgundy contacted DHG via the fabled conch. Ron had told DHG that it was time for Caiger Mall to return to its rightful hands. The Rangers, at this time numbering over 40, decided to make this a battle to remember and pledged their support. On December 24th, 2006, the Rangers, along with the DHPD, CMS and QSG led a guerilla offensive against the Caiger Resistance Front partying inside the mall, and routed them. After that, the Rangers moved into Eastonwood to battle the Eastonwood Ferals (who really arent as scary as they make out). Fighting for the local police department and for a chance to headshot any EF member in sight, the rangers battle on. After doing not so glorious battle with the Eastonwood Ferals, who fled their suburb under the guise that they were going to help mall tour 07, The rangers left for stanbury villiage to clean up the mess the RRF strike teams made. After Stanbury Villiage, the Rangers Briefly went into Ridleybank where the RRF broke ranks and ran to the south (in search of the tanning bead, presuambly). After the brief ridleybank incursion, the rangers decided to do glorious battle with MT07. Therein lied a long, glorious battle filled with blood guts and bullets. The siege began towards the end of January and lasted a little over a month. Mall Tour '07, amidst allegations of sexual misconduct with the corpses of their victims, got the best of the brave defenders in stickling. After the fall of stickling, Conndraka contacted the rangers, pleading with them to come and help them clean up Dunell Hills. The rangers along with the remnats of the DHPD held the Bascombe Building against Zergwell Spammer and a zombie onslaught. The battle for the hills still rages on, and any users who want a glorious battle are advised to head that way.

Thank you so very much for joining the esteemed cause of crushing the zombie hold on the fair suburb of Ridleybank. Thinking People Contacts

People who have their heads screwed on straight, talk here If you deem this should go in another section, then put it there. It didn't seem to fit in elsewhere.

Buncy!

Now now, you certainly are busy libeling my name when you think I cannot see your actions, aren’t you? Well, I’d like to point some things out that I hope this time will actually make their way into your skulls.

The Vengeance Committee was not in fact created by me. It was made by a friend of a friend. I was just bored enough to make the wiki page. If you’d actually read it, you’d realize that talking about it without the intention of joining would be rather useless. It’s not a group persay, just a name.

To that end, what does it matter that Buncy is a part of anything? He’s an upstanding person. He’s a model survivor. He did nothing wrong. Buncy is my common name online. Buncy on UD however is a nicer version of me. On the boards and IRL I mostly acted in my normal personality, which can get very emotionally attached and very upset at times. If you take action against UD Buncy, I will see to it that your groups at large are seen as promoting killing innocent survivors.

Sure sure, Cypher is also one of my characters. But isn't Cork Padre’s, and Phillip Grippy’s? You accuse me of using alts to advance my own agendas, then turn around and log onto your alts that live under your own group as well and advance your own agendas. Not obvious enough? The Rangers and Angels, especially their leaders, use alts aligned to their own groups to bolster their group numbers and advance their own agendas. Cat calling the kettle black, my friends. The only difference between our situations is that Cypher was never a part of the GBP. It does not matter that Cypher was close to Buncy, as they never interacted, and one was hardly making the area safer for the other.

I copy Padre’s character now? Check Cypher’s journal. I’m sure you have it on hand somewhere. Before I knew about Padre, before the Angels were made, before Padre even joined UD, Cypher was RPing in that character mindset. Think about it. Why do you think I chose the name Cypher Zero? Give me a little more credit here. I’ve just started recently bringing Cypher’s character out in forums is to distinguish Cypher (Not typically me) from UD Buncy (Almost me) from Buncy (Totally me).

In closing, stop thinking of yourself as the high-and-mighty defenders of freedom and me as the cheating, copying asshole. Those terms describe us both.

-- Buncy T 17:55, 30 June 2006 (BST) My response, copied from our Forum:

First off, I'd like to apologize to Dr. Killdare for being forced into the role of intermediary - if at any time Buncy wishes to put this issue behind us and rejoin the forums he'll be allowed to, I just can't let him come in here if he's going to be divisive.

Now for a few thoughts on this statement:

1. I haven't made any libelous comments about you, or even your character - I said you'd been PKing me with an alt over an issue with your primary character. Everything beyond that has been an expression of my opinion of that or my opinion of these proceedings.

2. Don't threaten me with bounty hunter retaliation - I've told you many times that I'm not going to kill Buncy or Cypher. In addition, most groups who make a business out of seeking PKers would not be as understanding as you are of your actions.

3. Yes I have an alt (in fact, I have a few - most inactive) and yes he is also a Ranger. That said, they've never cooperated on any goal larger than "help survivors" or "stick it to the RRF". Some may view your use of an alt to pursue a much more specific shared goal, a specific barricade policy, as more egregious an example of that (although few would go so far as to compare it to attacking the same target, etc.) I, for one, don't particularly care on this score or really concern myself as to whether it was your "Buncy" or your "Cypher" that was playing at the time. (If you read the Rangers' policy, it's specifically mentioned that the Rangers are free to have alts in the group - it never stated in Buncy's profile that his alt might kill you if you disagreed with him)

What pissed me off was a man, with whom I was engaged in (what seemed to be) productive negotiation to an acceptable compromise elected to kill both the allies of, team mates of and ultimately the very person he was talking to.

So, in closing, my issue with you has never been over points of policy, has never been whether or not you kept your different "RP" personalities seperate - my issue was that rather than simply talk to me and compromise or convince me that I was wrong, you would rather forfeit the reputation of your team mates, the safety of your home suburb and the chance to be allies rather than enemies.

If you'd like to have a clean slate and to try again, I'm willing to grant it - Scarletwood needs any defenders it can get right now - but don't hide behind technicalities or the "RP" defense, your mistake wasn't these things. It was deciding that having it your own way was more important than the survival of others.

-Grippy

Note: I would to have it noted, for the public consumption that, Buncy's case aside, the Rangers have no dispute with the GBP or it's past members. They have been both generous hosts and stalwart allies to stand beside; I continue to work with them to better protect their home suburb.

--Major Grippy 19:48, 30 June 2006 (BST)

Believe me that for the most part I was talking about the whole of your forums in my statement Grippy. You have had the odd statement in which you have said baaad things, but I was not specifically targeting you.

Here's the thing. I have my commitment for the extravaganza. Padre was correct in assuming I would be showing up there. After that's done, I assume that the Angels will move on, and therefore I can as well. I have to admit that targeting one specific group can be at times very boring and repetitive.

My beef is mainly with the Angels though. If you can promise that the Rangers will keep their academy secure, and the GBP accept the proposal (that is out of my hands now), I will leave you alone. I cannot promise that I won't ramdomly kill one of your members, but I won't be preferential.

All this has taken me to wits end and back, then past it, then twisting around and stuff. Makes me feel nautious really.

In any case, I'd be glad to communicate with you on your forums, assuming that your members don't string me up in town square and castrate me. That would NOT be fun. -- Buncy T 21:02, 30 June 2006 (BST) (Oh, perhaps you'd like to pass this on to your forum)

Grippy I hope you don't mind my posting here.

My propblem is simply that you tried to justify your past actions with the "RP" defense and continued to dance around my arguments and never realy answer my questions. The main thing, however, was that you acted as though it were your right to judge the actions of resonably good people. I will admit here that I reacted incorrectly and with too much aggretion, for this I apologize. I have a hard time understanding how you can differentiate between personas and expect people who don't know you or what is happening to understand this and not just assume that Buny/Cyper are the same person. Acting, which is what you have been doing, is much easier to comprehend when facial expressions and vocals can be seen/heard. That being said, In your above statement you mention that you didn't blame Grippy for what happened on the forum. I assume one of those people you were refering to. I can't help to see that you are right that I was out of line. Note that don't fear repercussions from you against me or my faction. However, as I am in a leadership postion and my men where not aware of my actions, what kind of example is that? For the sake of my men I feel as though I should step up and be a bigger man then I was before. I don't doubt that I could easily enough defend my actions to anyone you mention them to, but that requires a lot of work and I'm rather lazy. So I apologize to you for being an ass. If you return to the C4NT forums I'm sure we could both work togther to not have such problems occure again. Just remeber though that PKing is not your only, nor your best, means to evoke change or get your point accross. If you'll notice you have probably redemed yourself in the eyes of a few Rangers who may have been hunting you with like five paragraphs of text. --Donsic

Hi do you mind adding me to the group?Panchodude 20:41, 16 July 2006 (BST)

I think I need to get a new flag pole to stick your AWSOME FLAG on, and yes, it's awsome--Kyndrid Angel NMC BBB 03:24, 9 September 2006 (BST)

I was looking around at other groups in the South Eastern area and found that you guys were heading down to Whittenside.

Thought it worthwhile saying hi and posting a "welcome to the area" message up from us.

On top of the local services detailed on the Miltown page, it is worth noting that Whittenside and Fryerbank each have reasonably well maintained revive points (by BMC and DK13 respectively). The Miltown revive point has been suffering recently, but will hopefully stabilize soon.

We look forward to seeing you around the area.

Cheers, –Ray Vern phz T 17:18, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

While I am here, I would like to ask for a bit of clarification in the allies section of your main page, regarding the name of your association of groups. It seems to indicate that The Coalition are within that association and, while we are not averse to this idea, we would prefer the Alliance list be clearer in this regard.

SoA

We might have sprayed over your tag. You guys mind keeping the 2 tags about even? 2 of ours, 2 of yours. Also, do you know who keeps spraying that French Revolution thing? It's getting really annoying, spraying over our tags all the time. Crazylilvietguy 01:47, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I Know, it was really annoying whilst we were there, but feel free to spray over our tags, as we're gone now --Dickholeguy 20:46, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
