If you join Malton Underground you will benefit from all the advantages that a survivor group has to offer, but with more freedoms.
Our recruits are freelance agents who work together to achieve specific goals. While maintaining their own sense of independence. Some of the activities Malton Underground may ask you to participate in include:
- Diplomatic negotiations between groups.
- Strategic real-time battle analysis with a emphasis on succeeding as a cohesive group.
- Scouting potentially dangerous locations for reconnaissance missions.
- Working in conjunction with other groups to help accomplish their goals and thus form alliances expanding the reach of our influence across the city.
No matter how big of a role you wish to play, The bottom line is Malton Underground wants to utilize you and whatever your expertise may be to further the cause of survivors across Malton.

1. Supports the Sacred Ground Policy. 2. Abhors murders. (PKers) 3. Supports the Random Revive Policy. 4. Zero tolerance for Zerging.

As of the new updates, If you attack with a Fuel Can and soak your target with gasoline...
and then successfully attack said target with a Flare Gun it does 30 DAMAGE! (24 with flak jacket)

2. Keep supplies stocked as to be ready for mission deployment.

Shearbank is still under HEAVY SIEGE! If you can, GET YOUR A$$ TO SHEARBANK AND FIGHT! Stickling Mall is in ruins, countless zombies need revives, YOUR GROUP NEEDS YOU!

Operation Boomstick abort... I'm afraid MU members have no choice but to pull back and defend Shearbank. Just when it looked like we had almost cleared out all of Roachtown and Randallbank, the mob waltzed in...
We are at Threat Level: Midnight here people.
Stickling mall is under full siege, we need any and all MU members that can carry a gun or syringe to return to base and defend Manuel Towers!
Now is our hour of fortune! Fight on brothers!

External Military reports, extensive scouting and communication via radio have revealed that (for the time at least) it seems the hordes have avoided Shearbank all together. The threat of an invasion no longer seems eminent.
Operation Boomstick is gearing up now. Get on our forums and sign up for duty today!

This is a friendly reminder to all MU members that we strictly follow Sacred Ground Policy.
We DO NOT kill zombies at revive points. We also encourage those we are allied with to do the same.

Keep fighting the approaching hordes MU! Just remember to keep stocked and only sleep in safe buildings.

It looks as if Shearbank might be next on the siege list... If so we must be repaired...
There is a siege survival plan that was just drafted by MU top brass, To read it sign up for the MU forums and read the MU Ops forum, the UPCOMING SIEGE! thread. Whether you are already inside Manuel Towers, or on your way there, you need to stock up on ammo and FAKs. The thread has all the details on what to do after that. Good luck MU.
P.S. The MU Ops forum is password protected to prevent sensitive MU Intel from falling into enemy hands. To receive the password you must:

A positive story to report, The Cult of the Stuffed Crocodile and MU have reached an agreement to share usage of the 26.69 frequency. It is rumored that Orion Koffman paid a visit to CotSC headquarters just before a deal was struck. It took a relatively short amount of time to agree on terms and an alliance between the groups was mentioned but not yet confirmed.
Also we need some items for the safe house. While on your way to Manuel Towers try to bring one or some of these items:
Radio Transmitter (though it is really a transceiver)
Any fuel you have
Any decorative pieces also welcome.

Despite the fall of Fort Creedy this week, survivor numbers hold surprisingly strong. Malton Underground members should be tuning their radios to frequency 26.69 STFMU for coming updates regarding the Survivor Collation summit in Dulston, and a new base of operations for the next chapter in The Malton Underground's story.
Keep learning as many new skills as you can, and consider joining MU's Project Revive.

Survivors, the first steps towards revolution in Malton have begun.
A revolution in terms of how we fight THE DEAD. A revolution in terms of how we work together. A revolution in everyday life.
Your fearless leader, OK has embarked on a wayward journey to the "Survivor Coalition" summit in Dulson. Potential topics of discussion include: possible coalition names, command structure, and a forthcoming forum. For those of you who are lost, see Survivor Coalition.
What we are trying to do is convince as many groups possible to work together and share information in one big network. This one idea is the entire foundation of what the Malton Underground stands for. If we work together and coordinate in mass like THE DEAD then their little tirades, aka Big Bash I,II aka the march of the dead will be come a non-issue.
There will be more info to come. Remember to check the wiki often!

The march continues... Mitchem Mall is the latest casualty in the THE DEAD's storm to Fort Creedy. Any Malton Underground survivors should be either on the front lines or in Fort Creedy clearing the armory of over barricading zed spies/PKers.
Don't forget to spread the word about MU when ever possible. Through tagging, or broadcasting or even just telling others.
Stay vigilant.
PS in a very short amount of time Malton Underground had risen to the status of a confirmed group. See Here congrats team. Let's keep it up.

News is spreading...THE DEAD are on their way to Fort Creedy, and we are right in between. We must abandon this temporary headquarters we have established. I, as well as anyone who will join me should come to Fort Creedy. This is where the next great siege will be held. We must work together to further the cause of all survivors.
Now I, Orion Koffman feel it necessary to travel to the front lines and fight. I will try my best to hold the barricades and keep the horde at bay. This is where I feel I will be most useful.
Keep in mind I am not advising all troops to do the same, rather I am asking you, Malton Underground to look in yourself and find how best you can help prepare for the coming battle.
If you are still green and not yet ready to face live-action combat, you might be of best help healing wounded in or outside Creedy. Or reviving survivors at revive points. (Always practicing planned revivification of course.) All the while gaining valuable experience along the way.
Do not forget survivors, our goal is not to hold our ground at all cost against THE DEAD. This is foolhardy. instead we should do what our name implies...survive. If it means retreat is the best strategy then so be it. Let's not underestimate the importance of Rat Tactics. Better to take a stand at a fortified location than in a random building where their numbers alone spell doom.
Malton Underground, whatever your strengths, whatever your method, the time has come to take action!

The Malton Underground has one primary goal: To form an organized network of survivor groups to combat The Dead. We must prepare for the next great threat to our home. Survivors, we must work together if we want to protect all that those who have come before us have given so much for.
While almost anyone may join Malton Underground, you must understand the ultimate goal is not to make a group large enough to rival The Dead. The goal is to survive. To keep Malton alive. This is our challenge and we must not fail. Our plan is to unite like minded willing groups to form a network that can be set in motion at a moments notice. If we do not adapt and work together like they do than we will surely fail. Maybe not this time. Or the siege two months from now. But they will always come back. We MUST be repaired.
History
The Malton Underground, known colloquially as the Underground and later the Malton Underground Organization, took their name from the lyric "The time has come for you to shoot your leaders down, join forces underground..." from the Muse song "Assassin". The Malton Underground was initially part of the Riddleybank Collective Movement (RCM) within the Malton Resistance Front. (MRF) In 2008 they announced they were splitting from the MRF siting that there was no time to waste on petty disagreements between groups.
The Malton Underground Revive Project
With the high demand at most Revive points, and the difficulty of getting a timely revive during large battles, it is a priority of the Malton Underground to establish a streamlined revival point where official members of MU can receive revives directly from the group, eliminating the need for revive requests and long waits. If other zombies come to the revive point, they will be considered for revival only after all Malton Underground members have been revived. Establishment of a secure NT building and a combat revive team are of high priority to the group, as these elements will maximize the effectiveness of this plan. --Destroyerofminds 16:54, 25 May 2008 (BST)
