Zombies frequently check inside. Portable Generators have a use other than powering the lights and increasing search probability in hospitals. Players with the Surgery Skill can heal for 15 HP if the Hospital has a fueled up Generator. Hospitals are listed as Tactical Resource Points. Hospitals can be barricaded normally. Among the internal descriptions found in Hospitals: "...its wards and corridors blackened with the soot of a recent fire" "...its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape." "...one of the city's psychiatric hospitals." "...dark corridors leading through abandoned wards." "...its emergency room in disarray." "...its lobby covered with quarantine posters." "...a children's hospital with bright murals across the walls. " "The main lobby is riddled with bullet holes." "It was one of the last to be evacuated, and seems to have been cleared out in a hurry." "...a derelict hospital that was closed down years ago."

Description

One of the four hospitals in the suburb of Tollyton. This hospitals welcomes any survivor to enter and use its facilities. Important locations to be noted are The Rayfield Building the nearest Necrotech Building; and the Lake Street Fire Station.

Barricade Policy

According to Tollyton Barricade Plan this building at Very Strongly Barricaded meaning that all survivors will be able to enter this building and that the barricades shall maintain the zombies outside.

Current Status

31 Jan 2012 - You are inside Marcus General Hospital, its empty wards criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape. The building has been very strongly barricaded. A portable generator has been set up here. It is running, and powering a radio transmitter that's currently set to 26.17 MHz. One of the wards has been decorated with a print of a tapestry. January 23 - The building has been extremely heavily barricaded - no way to enter. Lights are on inside.
